When taking makeup classes, not only the academy instructors but also university professors all used Mac Strobe Cream as the base. So out of curiosity, I bought and tried it. Strobe cream is particularly used a lot for expressing luminous makeup. Compared to other bases, the strobe cream has truly distinctive fine pearls that are so beautiful. The pearl particles are very small but distinct, so the before and after difference is clear. The luminosity is definite, so by just layering it two or three times, you can express the glow coming from within without the need for an artificial highlighter.
Cons
If you're not a major makeup enthusiast or particularly interested in expressing luminosity, it may be difficult to get great satisfaction from this product at this price.

I bought the full-size product after seeing beauty YouTubers praise it so much, but if I had known it wouldn't suit me this way, I wish I had tried a sample first. Since my skin tends to get cakey when I apply makeup thickly (I'm currently using Foundation 201), no matter how thinly I apply the strobing cream, it mixes with the foundation and becomes a mess.. They say it's as moisturizing as a hydrating cream, but that's definitely not the case for me. And watching the YouTubers, the strobing cream looked so dewy and luminous, but when I applied it, it seemed to dull the foundation color instead.. Is it just my application technique? The sister who bought it with me also left it untouched because the makeup gets cakey on her too.
Tip
It's a shame to throw it away, and it's a hassle to do full makeup just to go out, so try applying MAC Strobe Cream over your sunscreen instead:)

-On dry days or when using powder foundation, it surprisingly has good moisture and doesn't feel dry when applying foundation. -It has small pearls in it, which makes the skin expression look pretty. -The mini-size is also available.
Cons
-The full-size product is a bit expensive. However, the mini-size is half the price and lasts quite a long time.

It had a nice pearly glow, so I liked it. It was perfect as a base - moisturizing and just right for daily use.

I Love MAE💕💕 The variety of colors was great, so I was able to choose one that suits my skin tone. I love collecting cosmetics, so I always scoop up all the famous products. There's a reason why they become popular, after all!! The fine pearl particles are so, so beautiful 😭😭😭😭 I bought a neutral pink color and it makes my skin look radiant and smooth, and the makeup applies really well!! I highly, highly recommend it!!

The only downside, if I had to pick one, would be that the lid is slightly rounded, so it doesn't stand up straight... 😢 But that's also part of its charm, I suppose. And some people might not like the fact that it has pearl in it. I also agonized a lot over the pearl before purchasing, so I'd recommend testing it out in the store before buying.

If you do a lot of skincare beforehand, you'll need to adjust the amount of foundation, as it can cause the foundation to slip.
