I was amazed at how warm my face felt while applying it and showering. There's so much salt you can really feel it with your fingers. The texture is super sticky, like those old squeeze-out gums we used to eat. After cleansing, my nose feels incredibly smooth. I'm not sure about blackheads disappearing, but it really seems to eliminate excess oil. Apart from reducing oiliness, I didn't notice any other improvements in my skin. For better results, apply it to your face, gently roll it with your hands, wait 5 minutes, roll again, and then rinse off. If you buy it at Olive Young now, they're giving away a smaller size as gratis. - Hwahae UserDry SkinAcne SkinFeb 20, 2025
I mainly use this in the evening, and after application, my skin feels as smooth as silk, like polished granite. It's so refreshing! Since it's a product that utilizes the osmotic effect of salt, it manages sebum without causing much irritation. When you apply it, your skin warms up, which feels surprisingly nice! It's like you can feel it working, you know? The texture is neither too runny nor too thick, making it easy to apply without any discomfort! While many people use a spatula to scoop it out, there are also many who apply it directly with their hands! In this case, you need to use it after cleansing, and if your hands aren't completely dry when you scoop out the product, water can inevitably get into the container. When water gets in, it's said to reduce the effectiveness the next time you use it. The warming sensation when applied is also less noticeable!! It's not really a drawback, but to make the most of its benefits, you should be mindful of this. Other than that, I didn't experience any blemishes or other issues. You can apply it with your hands, but there's a dedicated Torrohop brush available. It comes in two types: a large yellow one and a mini blue brush. Since these are brushes specifically designed for the product, you can apply it much more evenly and effectively. I highly recommend using them together! Using a brush greatly reduces the chance of water getting into the container, so even if you don't have the dedicated brush, I recommend using any brush you have! I use the yellow brush along with a silicone brush! - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinFeb 10, 2025
After using it, my skin feels so soft that I want to keep touching it. I can definitely see a reduction in sebum on my nose, and the pores in my T-zone have visibly improved - I love it! The texture is like a thick, honey-like gel with what seems like salt in it. If you're dealing with dead skin cells, pores, or excess sebum, I highly recommend giving this a try! The only slight downside is that you need to apply it with a spatula. But honestly, this is just me trying to find a flaw because the product's effectiveness is so outstanding. Here's a tip: Try applying it to your face before washing your hair. The warm water temperature while shampooing creates a sauna-like effect, making it even more effective. This is my recommended method when using the product! - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinSep 28, 2024
Holy grail has arrived...! I lightly cleanse, then apply the product for 10 minutes using a rolling motion. For added heat, I shower (with lots of steam) during this time, followed by a second cleanse. I started using it for my pores and sebum, but after cleansing, my skin becomes so soft that my makeup applies beautifully. Now I make sure to use it before any important plans. It's a bit of a hassle, but the results are worth it - my skin feels as smooth as a peeled egg, so I keep using it. This is truly a satisfying product that I'll definitely repurchase when I run out. It's a bit of a hassle, but the incredible effects make it impossible to stop using! - Hwahae UserDry SkinAcne SkinSep 14, 2024
This is excellent as a sebum softener. I have pretty severe blackheads, but when I apply it just to my nose and then remove the lifted sebum with a scrubber afterwards, it works perfectly. It feels like applying sticky salt granules to your skin. After a short while, you start to feel a warming sensation. I was pleasantly surprised to find it even takes care of dead skin cells. It is on the pricey side. However, I only used it on my nose, which made it last longer, and the effectiveness is really good. - Hwahae UserDehydrated SkinAug 30, 2024
I work at Ol* Mate and this product always sells out quickly, so I was curious about it. Luckily, I received it as a gift and got to try it out! It's a thermal salt pack that melts sebum to care for pores. True to its name, it felt amazingly warm as soon as I applied it. If you're worried about it being irritating because it's a salt pack, don't be! It's passed low-irritation tests too! Unlike typical pore-tightening masks that can leave your skin feeling dry and tight, this one can be applied during your shower, so it's not drying and saves time - killing two birds with one stone! After use, my skin felt incredibly soft, and it definitely took care of dead skin cells and blemishes. It's truly an excellent product! While it comes with a built-in spatula, it's quite difficult to spread evenly on your face with just that. There's supposedly a dedicated brush available, but I just used a silicone brush I had at home! As mentioned in the product description, the effectiveness increases if you shower after applying the product! - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinAug 27, 2024
The best part is you can use it in the sauna or shower! When left on for a while, it really dissolves those pesky dead skin cells, leaving your skin silky smooth. The price seems a bit high for the amount you get. Be careful - it stings terribly if it gets in your eyes and tastes salty if it gets in your mouth. I was using it during a bath, but when it got in my eyes, the pain was so intense I had to quickly rinse it off. After using it during your bath, make sure to apply plenty of hydrating and soothing products. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinMay 1, 2024
As soon as I applied it to my skin, I felt a warm sensation. As I continued rolling, it felt like all the dead skin cells, sebum, and impurities were being completely removed. I tried it because it claimed to minimize pores, and I could actually see a noticeable reduction in my pore size. However, it stung my eyes when it got in them! Just be careful about that and you should be fine. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinFeb 10, 2024
As soon as I apply it at the start of my shower, I can feel the warmth, which makes me think it'll effectively dissolve sebum I heard it's better to use this before shampooing, but when I did that, some got in my eyes and it stung quite a bit - Hwahae UserCombination SkinJan 2, 2024
Apply it before showering, then after your shower, use a bit of warm water to gently roll and rinse it off. Your skin will feel silky smooth! It's great for managing excess oil and exfoliating dead skin cells. Well... everything's good about it, but compared to other masks, it's on the pricier side.
