The best part is you can use it in the sauna or shower! When left on for a while, it really dissolves those pesky dead skin cells, leaving your skin silky smooth. The price seems a bit high for the amount you get. Be careful - it stings terribly if it gets in your eyes and tastes salty if it gets in your mouth. I was using it during a bath, but when it got in my eyes, the pain was so intense I had to quickly rinse it off. After using it during your bath, make sure to apply plenty of hydrating and soothing products. - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinFeb 20, 2024
* Skin type: Oily, Sensitive, Combination dehydrated skin Just like other reviews mentioned, you can feel a warm sensation as soon as you put the mask on your face. Since I have oily skin, I even used a facial steamer while wearing the mask to enhance the effects! When I washed it off, my skin definitely felt super soft and smooth. While it's true that this mask makes your skin texture smoother, every time I use it, my face feels burning hot, and I get redness and blemishes popping up, turning my face into a tomato-like mess. Those with super sensitive skin should absolutely avoid this... After using this mask, my skin feels painfully dry, yet still oily, and my redness has gotten worse. I'm definitely never using it again. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinFeb 10, 2024
As soon as I apply it at the start of my shower, I can feel the warmth, which makes me think it'll effectively dissolve sebum I heard it's better to use this before shampooing, but when I did that, some got in my eyes and it stung quite a bit - Hwahae UserCombination SkinJan 17, 2024
- Usage experience After cleansing, I gently removed excess water and immediately applied the mask for about 10 minutes, then massaged it while rinsing off. I've used it about 5 times so far, and except for one occasion, I felt that my skin texture became smoother and more refined compared to before use. (The one exception was when I applied the mask long after cleansing and removing excess water) Out of the 5 times I've used it, once I applied the mask long after cleansing and removing excess water, and I felt a slight tingling sensation on my cheeks. * Not recommended for: super sensitive skin, skin types lacking hydration It seems best to use this when there's still some moisture left on the skin right after cleansing. - Hwahae UserDry SkinFeb 27, 2023
My skin instantly feels softer, and a warm sensation rises, giving me the feeling of being at a spa. Sigh... This is my review after about a month of use. My skin gradually became blotchy, and eventually, I ended up visiting a dermatologist due to peeling. I thought there were no immediate issues, but over time, even applying emulsion became painful as my skin turned red. I had to stop using it. Those with super sensitive skin, please avoid this product. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinApr 1, 2022
After using it, my skin feels silky smooth. I can immediately feel the warmth, which makes me think it's effectively removing impurities. I didn't have sensitive skin before, but after using this, my face became red and my pores enlarged. It felt like it stripped away not just impurities but also moisture. The next day, I even noticed more dead skin cells forming. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinDec 4, 2021
I felt a warm sensation and it was gentle on my skin. It gave me the impression that impurities were being drawn out. I have sensitive and thin skin, and despite claims of being non-irritating, this product was a disappointment for me. My skin was in its best condition, but after using this once, it started to deteriorate. I'd advise those with delicate skin to avoid this. Considering the price, it's not very effective either. While it leaves a refreshed feeling, it doesn't do much for sebum or blackheads. In fact, my skin became rougher.
