  I really liked how you could feel an immediate tightening effect as soon as you apply it. Some people mentioned they didn't care for the typical retinol scent, but honestly, it wasn't as bothersome as I expected. Plus, the tip has a slight angle, making it convenient to squeeze out and use.

  Cons

  If I applied a bit too much, my skin felt itchy. It was like my skin felt somewhat suffocated. But then again, if I used too little, my skin felt really tight. So it was tricky to figure out just the right amount to use.

  Tip

  After applying this, I'd definitely recommend following up with something deeply hydrating or frequently spritzing with a face mist to keep your skin feeling comfortable.

  Retinol content 330IU, Bakuchiol content 100ppm (refer to package) I tried this retinol cream as an entry-level product since it's said to be gentle. What I loved most was how non-irritating it is. Due to its formulation, I thought it would be a rich, oily cream, but it absorbs more lightly than expected. After application, my skin texture feels smooth and velvety.

  Cons

  After applying, rather than feeling moisturized... the skin surface feels somewhat dull. It's hard to describe, but it's not exactly a comfortable feeling, which is disappointing. It's not a hydrating cream, so I think my skin might feel this way because it's dry.

  I bought this as a pore-shrinking cream, but honestly, I'm not sure about that specific effect. However, I did notice some dead skin cells sloughing off, which seems to have improved my skin texture. Using this cream appears to have reduced the oiliness of my skin. Though I suspect it's not so much the cream's effect as it is the low oil content of the product itself. If you're concerned about skin texture, this isn't a bad choice.
