I prefer using an oil cleanser followed by a foam cleanser for that squeaky clean finish. While I've tried balm-type cleansers before and find them a bit more challenging to use than oils, I decided to give this one a try due to its portability. It comes with a separate spatula in the inner lid, which is great for hygiene. The ingredients are good, and although I usually prefer unscented products, the subtle fragrance isn't unpleasant. Since I only use it to remove light makeup, the cleansing effectiveness seems adequate.

  Cons

  It feels a bit heavier than oil cleansers... I think it might be more suitable for dry skin rather than oily skin. The fact that you need to massage it in for quite a while can be a bit tiring.

  I can't find any positives. For a cleansing balm, its cleansing effectiveness is subpar. It struggles to remove not just point makeup like mascara and lipstick, but even base makeup doesn't come off cleanly. Moreover, when mixed with water and rolled on the skin, it doesn't emulsify well, leaving an oily residue. This necessitates a vigorous second cleanse with foam to remove the greasiness, which can cause significant irritation during the cleansing process.

  I recommend trying something else. Absolutely not recommended for those with super sensitive skin.
