It clings to your lips so well that it looks like your natural lip color, but more vibrant! If you're looking for a velvety matte finish, this is the one for you. For reference: Shade 8 is more subdued than shade 9. On my wrist, 9 appeared as a lovely pink-coral, while 8 came out as a muted plum.
