Especially among people who have gone through pregnancy, childbirth, and raising children, it's so famous that I don't think there's anyone who doesn't know about it. Haha, I think I've used a few bottles of it. It's a lotion, but it's not too light, so it's good for the dry skin of children. The size is just right, so I often carry it around and apply it frequently to our dry child. Haha. The spreadability is good, but in terms of absorption, let's say, when you apply it, it rises white during the application, but it gets absorbed quickly after a little while. But during the application, it does become white for a bit. The scent is close to unscented, with a slight medicinal smell, so our child calls it the 'medicine lotion'. Haha.
ConsThe price is a bit disappointing, and for a dry child, it requires multiple applications to achieve adequate moisturization. The fragrance is somewhat medicinal, but overall, I am satisfied.
TipIf the child has dry skin, it's great to apply it frequently while carrying it around. The pump makes it convenient to use even outside.

Given that I have atopic dermatitis, my baby also has sensitive and delicate skin prone to atopic conditions. When the skin becomes itchy and turns reddish from scratching, the Atopam product, as described on the back, helps alleviate the itchiness and supports the recovery of the skin barrier function. Being a mildly acidic product that balances the pH, it applies smoothly and is not too heavy, absorbing well without leaving a sticky residue. While the atopic dermatitis does not completely disappear, the product has a noticeable calming effect. My baby used to scratch intensely at night, but after using the Atopam lotion, the scratching is not as severe. This alone makes it a great product in my opinion. Honestly, I have tried other products, but I always end up coming back to Atopam, as I haven't found anything else that works as well for us.
ConsIt has a distinctive aroma! I'm used to it, so I don't really feel anything, but for my sensitive husband, the fragrance is not pleasant and it smells like an ointment.
TipIn the winter, when the skin turns whitish due to dead skin cells, applying a drop of body oil can help soothe the rough skin.

As the lotion I was using previously seemed to be drying, I was looking for a new product and was selected as a Hwahae Trial Reviewer, so I started using it! The biggest factor was that it can be used by the whole family, from the baby to the pregnant woman, so my baby and I can use it together. The ingredients are gentle, so I don't have to worry about my baby rubbing it on my face, and when I use it on my baby, I'm completely satisfied with the sufficient moisturizing effect! And while the absorption is a bit slower, this is because there are no quickly absorbing ingredients, so the gentle ingredients are clearly evident in this aspect - great!
ConsThe scent is not entirely odorless, but rather has a slight ointment-like aroma, which is a bit disappointing. However, the fragrance is not overwhelmingly sensitive, so it is still somewhat usable.

Ever since she was born, I've tried applying various lotions from many companies, but during the winter, her skin would become dry and flaky, and the texture would feel rough and coarse. I was really worried about it. I even tried using Vaseline and Vitamin E, but nothing seemed to help. However, when I started using this lotion, the texture of her skin became incredibly soft and smooth overnight. Even when she woke up, her entire skin felt soft and moisturized, as if it had absorbed a lot of moisture. The effects are truly remarkable. I highly recommend this lotion to anyone whose skin becomes itchy, dry, and flaky during the seasonal changes, or to those with rough, coarse skin. Out of all the basic skincare products I've used recently, this is the one I'm most satisfied with, and I plan to purchase it again as soon as I run out.
ConsThe scent is slightly reminiscent of pine. It's a blend of phytoncide and ointment fragrances, so it may be a matter of personal preference. It's also a lightweight formula, but it's not the type that gets immediately absorbed into the skin. Rather, it comes up white on the skin and needs to be thoroughly massaged in to fully absorb.

There was a bit of eczema on the ankle area, and it would itch, so I would apply it intermittently. Although I didn't notice any improvement in the skin during the short period of use, it didn't get any worse either.
ConsThe fragrance wasn't particularly strong, but it had a somewhat pungent cosmetic smell. When I used it, the texture wasn't overly harsh, but the fragrance momentarily caused some confusion.
TipI applied it thinly and frequently.

I was struggling to find moisture - the face cream didn't work and using a body lotion on my face wasn't quite right, but this one works for both! I applied it quickly and smoothly! 🙂 Texture It's like a lotion. After bathing, when I applied a generous amount, there were some visible traces left on my hands, but it spread out nicely. Compared to a water-based formula, I liked that I could control the amount better.
Cons😭 Fragrance The fragrance is quite mild, but now that my baby is 20 months old, I've noticed that various cosmetic fragrances can have a medicinal-like smell.
TipI always used a moisturizing cream together! Combining the thick, creamy texture felt great, and my skin stayed moisturized even the next day. 🙂

My niece, who was born 7 months later than my kids, is also using it. After trying various products, she settled on Atopalm. The reason was that the moisturizing and hydrating properties were better compared to other products. This was the first lotion for my twins 20 months ago. Back then, we only used a small amount since the kids were small, but even now, a small amount is sufficient compared to other lotions or creams, making it economical as well. It's a pump type that opens when turned to the right, so I could comfortably give the lotion bottle to my son who tried to eat it, without worrying. There's no need for a 'lotion battle' after bathing, so there's no unnecessary energy waste.
ConsI'm using the Atopalm cream well, and the Atopalm soothing gel cream is also great, but only the lotion doesn't suit me. It's not to the point where I can't use it because of the smell, but it's a strange smell, like an ointment? I can't quite describe it, but the smell is not great for me. However, my sister who is raising my nephew says it's fine.
TipIf you have any military personnel or civil servants around you, you could ask them to purchase it from the PX.

ConsIt has an ointment-like smell It's similar to Betadine... You can only smell it if you really put your nose on your face, but the ointment smell is too strong when kissing the baby, so I might switch to a different lotion next time ㅠㅠㅠ

The distinctive pine-like fragrance is not overly bothersome. The Atoparm lotion, unlike regular body lotions, has a thick, creamy texture that stays put on the back of your hand instead of dripping down. This texture is something I really appreciate. Especially with pump-type lotions, it can be quite frustrating when the product starts to run out and doesn't come out as easily. But this product's airless packaging minimizes waste, which I find very appealing! You absolutely must not open the cap while using it, as air getting in makes it difficult to use up every last bit. My children have dry skin, but after using the Atoparm products, they don't excessively scratch or feel itchy, so I tend to stick to this brand.
ConsIt may vary from person to person, but my husband says the scent is like a mild chemical smell. Personally, I prefer products with a light or no fragrance, as I find strongly scented lotions can actually make my skin feel more irritated. I don't have any other complaints about the lotion itself.

The Atopalm MLE lotion, with its medium-weight texture that's not too heavy or too light, does have a brief skin-slipping sensation, but it absorbs quickly. Although he doesn't have atopic dermatitis, my child who constantly scratches his skin has seen a significant reduction in the frequency of scratching since using this lotion!
ConsI've tried Atopalm and many other lotions since my child was young, and they've all been good, but I just can't get used to this scent. It does fade after a while, but... that medicinal smell? That artificial chemical smell? That old plastic smell? It's really tough to deal with..
TipMixing in a touch of jojoba oil or lavender oil can help mitigate the scent and make the moisturizing effects last longer.
