Despite its appearance, it's not a completely opaque cream, spreading smoothly when applied.
ConsUnpleasant scent / Price / Hydration When first applied, it has a mosquito repellent-like scent with a slight spiciness. It has an odd plastic + crayon + ointment feel... The price isn't cheap either, so I won't repurchase. The matte finish doesn't provide enough hydration for very dry skin in winter.
TipIt works well when you apply a generous amount of hydrating serum and then layer this cream on top.

The texture is thick and creamy, as you can see in the photo. It reminds me of Nivea ointment cream, with a dense, rich consistency. I don't have strong preferences when it comes to textures, but as autumn approached and my skin became drier, I was pleased to apply this substantial emulsion. It made my skin feel less parched. Despite its richness, it doesn't leave a greasy or shiny finish. It absorbs well, similar to how an ointment would. After using it for just over a week, I'm happy to report that I didn't experience any blemishes, which I'm prone to when skincare doesn't agree with me. The dryness and slight chapping around my mouth completely disappeared. What I appreciated most was the lack of irritation when applying it. The ingredients seem gentle, and it appears to be an excellent product for generously applying during seasonal changes without causing irritation or blemishes. I'm 100% certain I'll repurchase it. This is especially reassuring as I'm expecting a baby soon. Knowing that my skin will be in frequent direct contact with the baby, I've been concerned about the creams I use. The fact that this is from the same line as their baby emulsion gives me peace of mind. I'll definitely be buying this again as soon as I finish this bottle.
ConsThe product is described as fragrance-free, but it does have a slight medicinal scent, similar to an ointment! Those who dislike the smell of ointments or Nivea cream might find it a bit off-putting. Personally, while I'm sensitive to artificial fragrances, this medicinal scent doesn't bother me at all.
TipGiven its thick consistency, it might be beneficial to apply a watery, fast-absorbing serum like Torriden first, rather than a slippery ampoule, before using this product.

Slightly rich texture that applies smoothly without running 3. Suitable for the whole family with excellent moisturizing properties The Atopalm MLE Cream is well-known and trustworthy. Both of my kids have dry skin, and if I'm not careful, they scratch and struggle. After showering, I generously apply the Atopalm cream from face to body, letting it absorb. You can feel the hydration on the skin. Even the rough patches on their bottoms become smooth. I plan to use it frequently.
ConsThe scent is a bit disappointing. We're sensitive to smells, and the kids say it has a medicinal scent when applying. The subtle medicinal smell was a letdown.
TipI mixed the Atopalm cream with a soothing gel for my kids. If the rich texture feels heavy, I recommend mixing it with a soothing gel. The synergy effect makes it even more moisturizing.

I've been sticking to baby products, but this cream is truly exceptional! The ingredients are great, and it doesn't cause any itching. What I love most is its rich texture that spreads easily and absorbs quickly, despite its appearance. Surprisingly, it leaves my skin feeling fresh after application. I was worried it might feel heavy, but it's so light I almost forget I'm wearing it. The next morning, my skin felt silky smooth during cleansing, reminding me I had applied cream the night before. It's that comfortable and non-greasy!
ConsThe price seems a bit high for the amount you get. I love it so much that I want to slather it on generously, but I find myself using it sparingly. Also, while it's not completely unscented, there's a faint medicinal smell. It's not overpowering, but noticeable.
TipThe best tip for this product is how versatile it is in application. You can apply it any way you like - it works great over just toner or even on freshly cleansed skin without any other products. Either way, it never feels tight or heavy on the skin.

I've been so satisfied with all the Atopalm products, so I had high expectations for this cream too. The product description says it helps restore the skin barrier function and alleviates itching. When I opened it, I found it packed with a rich, thick cream. Just touching it, I could tell it was very dense, which made me even more excited! Lately, the weather's been perfect for weakening the skin barrier, and I thought it was just me, but my daughter kept saying she was itchy too. Since she's an active child who sweats a lot while playing, light emulsions weren't enough to solve her itching and hydration issues. But I was worried that using something too rich might cause pilling in this sweaty season. So, after her bath, I applied a light emulsion and then put a small amount of this cream on the itchy areas. She stopped complaining about itchiness, which means it must have provided great hydration! I tried it on my dry areas after bathing too, and wow, the moisturizing power is no joke! It felt like it coated my skin. It's a totally different feeling from emulsions! While it's great for this transitional season, I think it'll be perfect for the dead of winter.
ConsIt would be nice if it came with a spatula for when you want to use small amounts. Also, there's a very slight... tiger balm scent, so those sensitive to fragrances might be a bit surprised at first.

Whenever this happened, I applied this cream, especially generously before bed. It worked faster than hand creams for skin recovery and had excellent long-lasting hydration. When my baby got sick and had frequent diarrhea due to antibiotics, I found myself constantly cleaning and changing diapers. This led to dryness and cracking around the baby's bottom and knees. Applying this cream just once provided amazing hydration and quickly soothed the irritated areas.
ConsWhile the ingredients are safe for babies, I was slightly concerned about hygiene since you need to scoop the cream out. Even after washing hands, it felt a bit unsanitary. The scent is somewhat medicinal, which might not appeal to everyone's taste.
TipTo boost hydration, I found that applying an emulsion or toner before using this cream on the baby helped it absorb faster and maintain moisture for longer!

It also feels gentle, so you can apply it liberally without any worries.
ConsThe product is pricier than I expected... And the scent seems a bit chemical. Other than that, it's good.

You can even let kids hold it without worrying. No fear of it dropping on your foot or breaking! Just looking at it, you can tell it's thick, right? If we're comparing it to yogurt, it's like Greek yogurt in consistency. That's why it's so moisturizing. It's suitable for babies and adults alike, so you can slather it on your little one after bath time and use the rest on yourself. Dab, dab, dab!
ConsThe scent is a bit disappointing. It's not unscented, but it smells a bit like cosmetic ingredients? Still, being fragrance-free is probably good for preventing allergic reactions, right?
TipIf you apply it when your skin is slightly damp, it locks in hydration and stays moisturized longer.

We switched to more affordable emulsions as they grew, but recently my eldest's atopic dermatitis flared up, so we've returned to Atopalm. While emulsions and creams are known for their top-notch ingredients and hydration, I've found that products with ceramides are particularly helpful for persistent skin issues caused by a compromised skin barrier. That's why I always apply Atopalm MLE cream to my eldest's vulnerable skin areas. It's been over a week since we started using this product again. Even when applied directly to sensitive, irritated, or eczema-prone skin, it doesn't cause any burning sensation. It maintains skin hydration, which helps reduce scratching. I've also used it as a facial cream, and when I apply it at night, I wake up with moisturized skin without any greasiness. I haven't experienced any blemishes or irritation, which speaks to how gentle this cosmetic is. However, I don't use it before makeup as it can cause pilling.
ConsWhile I consider Atopalm's red cap design to be their trademark, I wish they could maintain that essence while making the packaging a bit more attractive. Given its price point and effectiveness, it's certainly not a budget line, yet sometimes the design reminds me of inexpensive skincare products that rely on chemical ingredients for hydration. Although it's fragrance-free, there is a slight medicinal scent. It can be a bit bothersome when you smell it up close or apply a generous amount. While the excellent ingredients more than make up for this, it would be nice if it had a pleasant, natural scent for a refreshing feel during application.
TipIt's definitely best to apply quickly within 5 minutes after showering or cleansing, once you've patted your skin dry. It's crucial to create a protective barrier with the emulsion and cream while the skin still has some moisture, as it can evaporate quickly. In winter, mixing it with oil improves both absorption and hydration. For those planning to buy Atopalm, I recommend adding Neopharma Shop as a KakaoTalk friend. They frequently offer special deals for great savings.

However, there's no built-in spoon, so use your own or purchase one separately. ☆ Texture Has a rich, thick consistency that feels substantial. Rather than applying right after cleansing, I recommend using it as the final step in your routine. ☆ Application Spreads smoothly and easily. However, it takes some time to absorb, so massage it in thoroughly. ☆ Moisturizing effect Works more to lock in moisture from other skincare products rather than providing hydration itself. ☆ Gentleness Like most Atopalm products, this one is also gentle on the skin. ☆ Portability While it might not fit in a mini bag, it's perfect for larger purses. Fits comfortably in one hand!
Cons☆ Stickiness The finish is slightly greasy, similar to Vaseline, with a bit of richness. ☆ Absorption Being a cream rather than a water-based formula, it takes some time to fully absorb. ☆ Scent Has an ointment-like smell. I'm used to it from frequent Atopalm use, but it might be polarizing for some.
TipI love how massaging it in works as both a facial massage and helps with absorption. For on-the-go use, I recommend transferring some into a smaller container!
