My skin responds well to madecassoside! As summer approached, I was searching for a gel-type cream and discovered this product. It's great for sensitive, blemish-prone skin - no irritation and easy to use! While it's not miraculous for calming skin when used alone, it's a solid choice with good value for money. Well... In a beauty industry flooded with cica products, this one has a competitive edge in pricing, but its effectiveness isn't particularly outstanding. I had high hopes because of the "Cica Gel X2" name, but compared to other products... You can get it cheaply on Coupang. Personally, I find this cica gel isn't very effective for soothing, so I mix in a drop of Nano Recipe's solution when I use it.

First off, it repaired my damaged skin barrier without needing to visit a dermatologist. I started using it based on recommendations from friends, and it's the first time I've stuck with a skincare product for so long. I truly recommend it. Unlike other barrier creams that felt too rich and caused occasional blemishes, this one doesn't. It doesn't leave a strange film on the skin, so there's no pilling either. It absorbs well into the skin. A'pieu... why on earth did you reformulate this? The previous version was far superior to the new one. Please bring it back, and not another reformulation - the exact same formula as before. What's more, while it's still on the website, the volume has decreased and the price has increased. I'm back to being a skincare nomad now. There are so many testimonials from people around me. Please, I beg you, bring back the larger size and lower price. Highly recommended when your skin barrier is compromised. Among skincare products for oily skin, some can be drying, but this one isn't. It absorbs well and seems to quickly soothe blemishes. I found the texture pleasant, and it was effective at calming blemishes. I can't think of any downsides. - mw******Combination SkinAcne SkinRecommendedNov 26, 2024

When I apply it at night and wake up in the morning, I can definitely feel my skin barrier has improved! I love that it spreads evenly on my face without any pilling under other products. It's great to use when you're breaking out or your skin is feeling sensitive. The generous amount means I'll probably be using this forever! After application, there's a slight rich feeling on the skin. However, compared to other barrier creams, I found it leaves less of an oily residue. It's easy to apply generously, and it seems to have a soothing effect. It's so ordinary that after using it once, I feel like trying something else.

When my skin was acting up, I applied it and definitely felt the inflammation subside. The redness also calmed down, and people kept asking if I'd switched foundations! With its rich texture, applying this before bed leaves my skin feeling firm and supple when I wake up. It also helps with deep dryness! It's been calming my redness too, which is why I've been emptying bottle after bottle for years. When I apply it before makeup, it always pills or separates on my skin. This product seems great for soothing and hydrating the skin. I love how it keeps getting upgraded with each renewal. The price seems relatively high compared to the amount of product you get. I've been using A'pieu products for 3 years now. Their toner, Madecassoside cream (Cica gel), and ampoule are all I use. The texture is not too heavy and absorbs lightly. It's incredibly gentle and wonderful. There aren't any drawbacks, really. None at all. The price is good, and it's quite versatile. If being versatile is a flaw, then I guess that's its flaw.
