One day my scalp became unbearably itchy, so I switched from my usual shampoo to this one. Surprisingly, with continued use, the itchiness completely disappeared! Plus, I love the grapefruit scent, which makes me want to use it even more. As someone with an oily scalp, I don't think it controls excess oil very well. It feels like my hair gets greasy again quite quickly. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinSep 13, 2020
I chose this because I'm a grapefruit enthusiast and it's mildly acidic with a grapefruit scent. Fragrance: It's lightly refreshing. While shampooing, the grapefruit aroma envelops your nose, creating a pleasant mood with its fragrance, but it disappears after rinsing. Cleansing effectiveness: It's gentle and doesn't lather much. I appreciate its mildness, though it might be divisive. I found it fine with a double wash. Hair feels a bit stiff after shampooing. A decent shampoo to use as a substitute when you're out of your go-to grapefruit shampoo. You end up using a lot because it doesn't lather well. The fragrance falls short by about 2% for those buying it for the scent. The scent doesn't last long either. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinAug 20, 2020
The fragrance is truly remarkable. It's not about the scent throw, but the shampoo's aroma itself is incredibly pleasant. It's more of a bittersweet grapefruit scent rather than sweet. Unfortunately, the scent is only noticeable during shampooing. Even when using the treatment together, the fragrance doesn't last at all. Try matching the scents of your shampoo, treatment, and essence for a cohesive experience. - Hwahae UserNormal SkinAug 12, 2020
I really like the grapefruit scent of the Kundal shampoo. Personally, I'm quite satisfied with it. I was worried because others said it wasn't great, but I'm actually quite pleased with it. - Hwahae UserDry SkinAug 2, 2020
I personally love grapefruit, so I chose this! The user experience was fantastic. Unlike natural or eco-friendly shampoos that often lack lather and make you feel like you haven't washed properly, this one foams up nicely and has excellent cleansing effectiveness! The only downside was that the scent faded quickly and seemed a bit light for a grapefruit fragrance, which was slightly disappointing. I'm planning to try a different scent next time. A friend recommended this to me after she found it helpful for postpartum hair loss, and I'm very satisfied with the results! The scent dissipates a bit too quickly and it's a lighter fragrance than I'd prefer, which is a shame. Using the shampoo and treatment with the same scent seems to make the fragrance last longer. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinMay 29, 2020
Highly recommended for grapefruit lovers. It lathers well and rinses out smoothly, leaving your hair feeling soft. I used this shampoo for a year, but suddenly my scalp became incredibly itchy and I developed blemishes. They apparently changed the ingredients midway, and it seems it no longer agrees with me. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinDec 7, 2019
I love the refreshing citrus scent, so I bought the grapefruit fragrance. It's zesty as expected, but there's also a slightly bitter note. If I had to describe it, it's like a somewhat bitter grapefruit that's a bit hard to eat, haha! But the scent doesn't linger at all. It lathers well, and after shampooing, my hair doesn't feel stiff at all - to the point where I don't need to use conditioner or treatment separately. It irritated my scalp and caused dandruff. The instructions say to rinse thoroughly, which I did, but the symptoms didn't improve. I'll finish what I have since it's hard to throw away, but I'm really hesitant about repurchasing because of this issue. I'll consider it if the symptoms improve with continued use. After pumping, shampoo keeps dripping from the bottom of the pump - I'm not sure if it's just my product, but it's really annoying. Update: After about a month of use, my dandruff hasn't decreased - it's actually increased. I gained nice hair texture but sacrificed my scalp health. I thought maybe I wasn't rinsing properly, so I rinsed much more thoroughly than before, but it seems the problem isn't about rinsing. This will probably increase my water usage too. It just doesn't suit me - my scalp isn't dry or oily, but this really doesn't agree with it. No matter how gentle the ingredients are, if it causes new problems, it's useless to me. It doesn't even deserve one star. If your scalp gets irritated, don't hesitate - just switch to a different product. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinAug 29, 2019
Here's my review of the shampoo. After finishing the Fuzzy Navel scent, I decided to try the Pink Grapefruit fragrance this time. With summer here, I wanted something fresh rather than overly sweet. And wow, how perfectly they've captured that tart yet zesty grapefruit scent! It's so authentic, I almost wondered if they'd squeezed whole grapefruits into the bottle. That's how it smells in the bottle, anyway. When you're actually washing your hair, the scent becomes a bit more subtle. With the Fuzzy Navel, the fragrance would linger strongly on everything - in the bathroom, on my hands, even on my pillow. But with the Pink Grapefruit, you get a gentle, slightly tart, and refreshing scent while washing, which fades after you dry your hair. I'm a bit disappointed by that... I suspect by the time I'm nearly finished with the bottle, it might be almost unscented. The shampoo itself is very light in consistency, almost transparent in color. Since I don't have very thick hair, even a small amount produces a rich lather. Being a low pH shampoo, it felt a bit heavy and oily at first, but I've gotten used to it now. I still need to wash daily though, as my hair starts feeling greasy after two days. After drying, my hair feels smooth and calm. It's gentle on my scalp too, which I really appreciate. Well... I'd say the Pink Grapefruit scent is uniquely weak compared to the others. That's about it. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinJul 18, 2019
I absolutely adore the scent of this shampoo! The refreshing grapefruit fragrance lifts my mood every time I wash my hair. While its cleansing effectiveness is average, my hair feels soft even without using conditioner or treatment. Even with permed hair, it doesn't become dry and stays silky smooth! For those with oily scalps, the cleansing effectiveness might be a bit lacking. If you don't shampoo thoroughly, you might notice a bit of dandruff. When shampooing, massage your scalp thoroughly using your fingertips. This will keep your scalp clean and leave your hair smooth and manageable! - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinJun 8, 2019
The scent is lovely - a subtle grapefruit fragrance that's not overpowering. After rinsing, my hair feels strange and gets matted quickly. It also seems to cause more hair loss than usual. This product might be better suited for those with dry hair. If you have oily hair, you may want to avoid it.
