Usage: This shampoo seems great for dry winter hair. I have thin, lifeless hair that struggles with static in winter, but this shampoo makes it less dry and a bit more manageable. The ingredients are also gentle, so I didn't experience any blemishes while using it. Scent: It's subtle and not overpowering. However, the fragrance doesn't last long. Lather: It seems to produce relatively less foam compared to other shampoos. You need to use more of it to cleanse effectively. It takes a while to rinse out completely until it no longer feels slippery. Sometimes it feels burdensome to use because it takes too long. As it contains macadamia, your hair tends to get oily much faster. - Hwahae UserDry SkinAtopy SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinDec 12, 2021
After shampooing, my hair always felt stiff and itchy, but since using this product, my hair has become so much softer. While it does make my hair softer, it seems to get greasy quickly, possibly due to the oils in the product. By the next day, it feels weighed down. Also, the scent isn't as sweet as I expected. - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinSep 25, 2020
One day my scalp became unbearably itchy, so I switched from my usual shampoo to this one. Surprisingly, with continued use, the itchiness completely disappeared! Plus, I love the grapefruit scent, which makes me want to use it even more. As someone with an oily scalp, I don't think it controls excess oil very well. It feels like my hair gets greasy again quite quickly. - Hwahae UserDry SkinJun 7, 2020
I've been using this without any major irritation. The price is reasonable, the scent is pleasant, and you get a generous amount. It seems to cause no damage to my hair, which is fantastic! Many people around me love it too, so I've purchased it multiple times. There's also significantly less hair fall! I think it's better than many expensive shampoos out there. It doesn't lather much. I'm used to it, so I still use it well, but sometimes my hair feels oily after use. Occasionally, it can make my scalp itchy too... - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinNov 12, 2019
I loved that it's made with natural ingredients, so it's not irritating, and it lathers up nicely It might be a bit much for daily use on oily scalps... I shower in the evening, but by lunchtime the next day, my hair feels greasy again. It's like I didn't even wash my hair? This oiliness can't be masked by the shampoo's scent... - Hwahae UserCombination SkinOct 29, 2019
The fragrance was lovely, making shampooing a pleasant experience. It lathers up nicely. I'll definitely repurchase. The biggest drawback is that my hair gets oily quickly. I'm not sure if it's because the shampoo is harder to rinse out compared to others, leaving residue that causes oiliness, or if my hair just gets greasy fast even after thorough rinsing. I'll have to try rinsing longer to figure it out. After washing, my hair becomes extremely oily very quickly (I usually wash every other day, but with this shampoo, my hair would get greasy by evening or even right after washing. Why? Did I not rinse enough? Or is this just how it is? I've never had my hair get greasy so fast before, only with this shampoo). Also, the scent doesn't linger after washing, which was disappointing. Another issue I encountered a few times was residual foam or shampoo left after rinsing (this is a drawback), so I had to be extra careful to rinse more thoroughly than with other shampoos. The fragrance doesn't last after washing. Due to these drawbacks, I won't be repurchasing this shampoo. If I find a conditioner or treatment with a lasting scent, I'll look into that instead, as I'd like my hair to have a nice fragrance. - Hwahae UserDehydrated SkinAcne SkinSep 3, 2019
I've been using this for over a year now, and I've finally settled on Kundal as my daily shampoo, so I'm leaving a review! I initially bought it after watching Dipah's video. First off, I felt reassured by the ingredients, and since it's slightly acidic, I thought it would be good for my scalp. For a low pH shampoo, it has pretty good cleansing effectiveness and lathers well. Compared to other shampoos (like other natural shampoos, supermarket brands, or alkaline shampoos), it doesn't leave my hair feeling stiff after washing and maintains softness, which I love! I also prioritize the scent of shampoos, and Kundal offers a wide range of fragrances that are generally pleasant, so I'm satisfied. The Pink Grapefruit scent is familiar and universally appealing - I've been using it this summer! I have an oily scalp, and the oil comes back quickly. Even though this shampoo cleanses well, it can't be helped... By my standards, with other shampoos, I'm usually fine for about a day, but with this one, oil starts to build up after just half a day. As a result, I end up using more shampoo and go through it quickly. Also, the fragrance doesn't last very long. I know long-lasting scents might mean harsher ingredients, but it's still a bit disappointing. (Update) The pump on the bottle is hard to remove at first... It's not always the case, but it's happened 2-3 times so far... Once it was actually broken, and the other times, I had to twist it a lot before it came off. Some shampoo leaked out when it finally opened. Since oil builds up quickly, I try to compensate by doing a pre-wash or using a scalp brush, which seems to help a bit. I also use a regular alkaline shampoo once or twice a week. If I don't, I sometimes get blemishes due to the oiliness. Despite these drawbacks, I don't find it too inconvenient, and it definitely seems better for my scalp and hair, so I continue to use it. - Hwahae UserOily SkinMar 23, 2019
Great ingredients, fantastic price, and a variety of lovely scents - I'm absolutely in love with it! I'll definitely keep ordering different fragrances! For oily scalps, the cleansing effectiveness was a bit lacking. Even with a light wash, it still felt a bit greasy. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinMar 7, 2019
It's affordable. There's a variety of scents, but I always stick with grapefruit because it's pleasant without being overwhelming or causing headaches. Just one pump creates a good lather. I bought it after recommendations praising its good ingredients, and since my scalp hasn't had any adverse reactions, it seems to be working well for me. While its cleansing effectiveness isn't bad, I notice my scalp gets oily faster compared to when I use stronger shampoos. It frequently appears as a hot deal on Coupang or Tmon. The regular price is already reasonable, but you can get it even cheaper during these promotions! - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinJan 3, 2019
Price? It's surprisingly affordable for a shampoo with fewer chemical ingredients. I'm annoyed at having to go through the trouble of writing about its downsides... The cleansing effectiveness is so poor that hair gets oily just after one day. I've developed dandruff that I never had before. Even my elementary school daughter suddenly got oily hair... It's so frustrating, I want to throw it away. Even when I used Le'Quil** before, it wasn't this bad. Wow, this is... While gentle shampoos are known for milder cleansing, this one pales in comparison to when I used Le'Quil**.
