As someone who frequently uses balm-type cleansers, I'm thoroughly satisfied with its cleansing effectiveness and texture. While it's a bit inconvenient that you must use the included spatula to scoop it out and emulsify it when water is added, I still recommend it. After massaging it in, add a bit of lukewarm water to emulsify the product. - fj********Combination SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedMar 13, 2025
I like that it removes makeup gently without causing any irritation It seems to cleanse light makeup thoroughly, but for heavier makeup, double cleansing is definitely necessary - mi*******Dry SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRecommendedJan 13, 2025
Recommended for fans of Banila Co products! The texture, cleansing effectiveness, and emulsification are very similar. It has no fragrance, so there's an unpleasant chemical-like smell. If you dislike added fragrances in ingredients, try Pyunkang Yul. If you prefer scented products, go for Banila Co. Use a moderate amount and emulsify thoroughly - m2******Oily SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinSebum/BlackheadsEnlarged PoresRecommendedDec 23, 2024
I tried this cleansing balm after hearing good things about it, and I'm impressed. Its cleansing effectiveness seems great, and it feels incredibly gentle on my skin. I don't really have any complaints. Though I've noticed many tube-type balms coming out lately, it would be nice if this product also came in a tube version. - wi*******Oily SkinAcne SkinAtopic SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsEnlarged PoresRecommendedOct 21, 2024
I'm thrilled I got it on sale at a great price. It's definitely less irritating than cleansing oils, so I can use it with peace of mind. The balm texture is gentler on my skin. The amount doesn't seem that generous, so I have a feeling it might run out quickly. - aa******Oily SkinAcne SkinRecommendedAug 28, 2024
The price is reasonable and it seems pretty good. I'm using it as part of my double cleansing routine. The only inconvenience might be that it comes in a jar. Other than that, I don't have any complaints. Make sure to include this in your double cleansing routine! - 33***Dehydrated SkinSensitive SkinInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRecommendedJun 27, 2024
First off, the price was really reasonable. It emulsifies quickly and feels comfortable to use. The double cap can be a bit of a hassle. As for the scent... well, it's hard to tell if it's pleasant or not. It's kind of... ambiguous? - ls********Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinEnlarged PoresRecommendedMar 26, 2024
[My Own Purchase] ✓ Affordable price Since the cleansing balm trend started, I've tried various brands, but this one is relatively inexpensive for its volume. ✓ Doesn't drip - a big plus Unlike cleansing oils that run everywhere, forcing you to use them only at the sink, this cleansing balm is so convenient. It's like a sorbet that you apply to your face and it slowly melts as you massage. I sometimes use it at my vanity while watching TV - it's super handy. No need to wipe off like a cream; just massage thoroughly and rinse at the sink. Done! ✓ Cleansing effectiveness as good as oil Whoever invented cleansing balms deserves an award. It removes makeup as effectively as oil. I've tried cleansing waters, oils, and creams, but cleansing balms work best for me. ✓ Universally pleasant scent, gentle ingredients Compared to other cleansing balms, this one seems to have a particularly runny texture when it melts on your face. It doesn't actually drip, but those who've tried various cleansing balms will likely notice the difference. Apply to dry skin and massage thoroughly. Then, wet your hands slightly and massage again for even better makeup removal. - an*****Combination SkinAcne SkinSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessEnlarged PoresRecommendedMar 22, 2024
It's my first time using a cleansing balm, and I'm impressed by how smoothly it applies and how well it emulsifies. I find using the spatula a bit inconvenient, so once I finish this, I'll probably go back to using cleansing oil. - c2********Dry SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinAtopic SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessEnlarged PoresRednessDead Skin CellsRecommendedFeb 16, 2024
It seems to remove makeup well. The best part is how cleanly it wipes everything away. It feels too greasy. It's so slippery that I need to double cleanse...
