I definitely notice my makeup applies better in the morning after using it. While it's expected for the ingredients to be suitable for sensitive skin, I'm impressed by how clean and effective it is. It would be great to use occasionally for removing dead skin cells. Oh, and the lid is absolutely adorable!
ConsThere's not much to complain about, but the scent might be divisive. It has a fresh quality to it, but there's also a hint of something that smells like chemicals...

It gets like this when my cycle starts, and it's really, really itchy. I've been visiting the dermatologist too. My skin balance was completely off, with excessive dead skin cells and too much oil. When I first opened this product, the texture was like runny mucus! I usually prefer products that wipe off cleanly, but when I applied this with a cotton pad, wow, it felt cool and hydrating. Usage: I only use it in the evening, replacing my usual toner. My skincare routine is now this toner + One Thing Moisture Cream + Etude Soon Jung Madecassoside Cream. The real game-changer was that in the morning after washing my face, there was no deep dryness! It was amazing. I've been using it for over a week now, and the moment I apply it, it seems to calm some of the redness. It definitely provides that Inner Glow hydration.
ConsUnfortunately, it contains limonene, which can cause allergic reactions. Even though it's listed towards the end of the ingredients, it's still disappointing for me. When your skin is acting up, even good products can cause blemishes, right? Luckily, it didn't make things worse, but it did cause some irritation. It seems like there's an artificial lemon fragrance added as well, which is a bit of a letdown.
TipUse it in the evening! You can see and feel the hydration lasting until morning, and I noticed the difference after just one day. On days when you want to exfoliate, use a textured cotton pad instead of a regular one. I found it to be more effective for removing dead skin cells!

So I focused on moisturizing without exfoliating, which led to blemishes popping up. That's when I decided to try this product. Exfoliation effect: Although it contains exfoliating ingredients, I was worried using a cotton pad might be too harsh. So initially, I applied it gently after cleansing, skipping the exfoliating toner step. While I didn't see dramatic results in just a few days, it did help smooth out some flaky patches and significantly reduced the tiny bumps on my skin. For more noticeable results, I tried using it with a cotton pad, but it felt a bit irritating. Now I plan to use it with a pad only once or twice a week and continue with gentle patting application daily. I love how it moisturizes while exfoliating, so I'm even using it on my arms and legs. Hydration: Many exfoliating products can be drying, but this has the consistency and hydration level of an essence toner. If you use a moisturizing sunscreen, you could probably use this alone (though it's hard for me to say definitively as my skin type changes daily - it's not dry, but ranges from normal to oily with occasional dehydration depending on conditions). Absorption: Despite its slightly viscous texture, it absorbs quickly. You can even layer it without any pilling or sliding. Lemon scent: At first, I loved the refreshing lemon scent - it boosted my mood for a few minutes after application. I'll discuss the scent further in the cons section. Cute packaging: Initially, I thought the lemon-shaped cap might be cumbersome, but I've found it actually makes the bottle easier to open, even with slippery hands.
ConsGlass bottle: While the volume isn't huge, the glass bottle does add some weight. Scent: The lemon scent itself is fresh and pleasant, but it's quite strong - you can smell it in the room even if you've only applied it to your face. When you smell it up close, there's a sharp alcohol scent that can be a bit unpleasant. I could overlook other minor drawbacks, but the scent makes me hesitant to repurchase and is why I'm deducting a point. I wish they'd tone down the lemon fragrance, though without it, the alcohol smell might be even more noticeable. Stickiness: This is somewhat unavoidable due to the slightly viscous formula. It's fine if you apply a moderate amount, let it absorb, and then apply another layer if needed. But if you overdo it and apply too much at once, it can feel sticky until it's fully absorbed.

I've used it for about 5 days, and despite being an AHA/BHA toner, it provided excellent hydration. As someone with sensitive skin, I was worried about potential blemishes or irritation from the AHA/BHA ingredients, but it suited my skin well without any issues. While I don't typically have oily skin or many dead skin cells, so I didn't see dramatic effects, overall it's a decent and easy-to-use toner. The lemon design on the cap is cute too!
ConsWhen I first applied it, it did sting a bit. As mentioned in other reviews, the scent is somewhat artificial and not particularly pleasant. While many people use AHA/BHA toners with cotton pads as an exfoliating toner, this product's consistency is a bit thick for that purpose.

I used it only in the evenings for a week, and I was amazed at how it exfoliated my skin and made it smooth without needing a separate scrub! You can use it as an exfoliating toner or pat it on with your hands, but I found it worked better as an exfoliating toner for removing dead skin cells. The AHA/BHA combination was gentle yet effective in refining my skin - it's perfect! I'll definitely keep using this. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for gentle exfoliation. The packaging is a lovely bonus - the lemon-shaped cap is absolutely adorable!
ConsThere's not really anything to complain about, but if I had to nitpick, the scent is slightly medicinal? But it's definitely not off-putting, so give it a try!
TipUse it as an exfoliating toner and gently pat any remaining product onto your skin with your hands. Since it contains vitamins and AHA/BHA ingredients, I recommend using it in the evening!

(Still, I followed up with essence and moisturizer.) In the morning, after just rinsing with water, I used this toner to remove dead skin cells and excess sebum. I noticed significantly less yellowish... residue on the cotton pad! It's not completely gone - that would be a lie - but there's definitely less!
ConsThe scent... it's like a medicinal lemon fragrance... I wasn't a fan of the smell. Also, those with super sensitive skin might find it a bit irritating. I have really tough skin, but even I felt a slight tingling sensation when I first used it. After that, I adjusted how I applied it and it was fine.
TipIn the evening, I use exfoliating cotton pads, and in the morning, I switch to hydrating ones. If you use this exfoliating toner according to your skin's needs, it should work well for your skincare routine!

Compared to the very light Dokdo toner, it's stickier and takes longer to absorb. Hydration: For a toner, it's quite moisturizing. While other toners just temporarily prevent the intense dryness after washing your face, the lemon toner's hydrating effects lasted longer, probably due to its texture. Plus: Maybe it's because of the lemon ingredient, but I felt like my complexion brightened a bit after using it! My blemishes also decreased slightly. There's also a cooling effect on the skin after application, which I personally enjoyed! However, this aspect might be hit or miss for some people... And the packaging is so cute... It makes me happy every time I look at it!
ConsThe scent is really off-putting. It's like a chemical smell... The strong fragrance might be a deal-breaker for those sensitive to smells. Also, despite claiming to have high AHA and BHA content, I didn't notice any changes in my blackheads or whiteheads... I'll update if I see any effects with continued use!

First off, the texture is slightly runny, almost like a watery serum. It has a consistency similar to an ampoule. I typically use an exfoliating toner followed by an ampoule, so I tried applying this lemon toner after my exfoliating toner. Despite its fluid texture, it wasn't too slippery and absorbed well into my skin. I loved how it left my skin feeling firm without any stickiness. I've been experiencing some blemishes on my forehead lately, so I was a bit concerned about potential allergic reactions. Surprisingly, it actually helped calm my skin! As someone with redness-prone skin, I rarely use peeling products. However, this toner's AHA and BHA ingredients gently exfoliated without irritation, and I could feel my skin texture improving. The small size and pretty packaging make it perfect for travel too!
ConsThe lemon scent felt a bit artificial to me, which was slightly disappointing based on my personal preference.

It's light enough to use before bed without feeling heavy on the skin. ✨ Ingredients It contains three ingredients that require caution, so those with super sensitive skin or specific concerns should be mindful. ✨ Fragrance It has a strong, artificial lemon scent.
Cons- If you dislike artificial fragrances, the strong lemon scent might be off-putting. - It's slightly disappointing that it contains some ingredients that require caution. - The amount seems a bit small for the price.
Tip- Try chilling the toner and applying it with thin cotton pads as a face mask for a refreshing treat!

Before applying it to my face, I did a patch test on the back of my hand and felt a slight tingling and itching, which made me a bit worried. However, when I actually applied it to my face, I didn't feel any irritation at all. So, I ended up using it every other night before bed to help with dead skin cells.
ConsThe product's scent is quite artificial, which was a bit surprising when I used it. I wouldn't recommend this for those with super sensitive skin. Also, I noticed that using it daily caused some irritation for me.
TipI use it as an exfoliating toner every other night before bed, applying it generously with a cotton pad. Then I follow up with a rich layer of emulsion or cream. The next morning, my skin feels incredibly soft and my complexion looks brighter.
