On days when my makeup doesn't sit well, using this as a toner helps calm things down significantly.
ConsThere's a slight feeling of pilling, and it feels a bit tacky on the skin.
TipI think it works even better as an exfoliating toner!

Despite its cute appearance, its effectiveness is seriously impressive, which is why I'm writing this review. 1. The subtle lemon scent is refreshing every time I use it. 2. The toner isn't too watery; it has a slightly thick, jelly-like consistency that prevents moisture from evaporating quickly. 3. As someone worried about pores, dead skin cells, and occasional blemishes, this toner helps alleviate those concerns. 4. A little goes a long way in smoothing out skin texture, as the bottle contains a generous amount. 5. After application, my skin feels silky smooth and supple.
Cons1. While there's not much to complain about, it can sting quite badly if it gets into your eyes - though that's my fault... 2. Sometimes I notice a bit of pilling, but I'm not sure if it's because of my sunscreen.
Tip1. Be careful not to get it in your eyes. 2. Wait a while to allow it to absorb fully.

Texture: Not as runny as water, but has a slightly thick, mucus-like consistency. Application: Absorbs well when patted in with hands, no need for cotton pads. Hydration: For dry skin, one application doesn't provide intense hydration. Either layer it multiple times or follow up with an emulsion or cream for longer-lasting moisture. Overall: ⭐⭐⭐⭐
ConsLongevity: The hydration doesn't seem to last very long, so I'd recommend it more for combination or oily skin rather than dry skin. Packaging: The small opening means you need to shake it several times to get enough product on a cotton pad. As someone with year-round dryness who often layers toners, I noticed this tends to pill when applied multiple times (possibly due to the AHA/BHA ingredients?).
TipPro tip: In my opinion, it's better suited for morning use rather than evening. I found it works well as an exfoliating toner when applied with a cotton pad to refine skin texture.

Everyone, this is a game-changer! I'm someone who spent over 5 million won at dermatology clinics last year alone... Especially after getting Fraxel treatments, my skin became extremely dry. I was meticulously applying ampoules and essences, but all that regeneration actually caused tiny bumps to appear on my skin. I was told never to use AHA/BHA products after Fraxel, so I completely avoided exfoliating skincare products. This time, I got to try it as part of The Hwahae Testers! (Of course, this was several weeks after my Fraxel treatment!) First, the texture and feel! Although it's called a toner, it has a viscous, runny texture like an essence or ampoule. I usually prefer watery toners, but since I recently stopped using cotton pads, this texture actually works better for me. Other runny toners can feel too sticky or heavy, but this one is truly... just like an ampoule! I don't use it as an exfoliating toner, just pat it on with my hands twice. When I use this, I skip my usual essence or ampoule and go straight to moisturizer. Oh, and the scent is amazing too - a lovely lemon fragrance! It lifts my mood every time I apply it. Most importantly, the results!!!! The effects are fantastic!! I started using it as part of The Hwahae Testers, but now I'm planning to purchase it with my own money. I'm prone to tiny bumps and rough texture, but when I apply this, my skin feels incredibly supple and my previously rough texture becomes smooth. It feels like my next skincare steps absorb better!! I had a bad reaction to AHA/BHA products a long time ago, so I was scared, but this seems to be formulated very gently! Highly recommended!
ConsWhile I'll definitely purchase this myself, there are still a couple of downsides: Slight tingling sensation For those with very sensitive skin, it might cause a slight tingling. I sometimes feel a slight sting, similar to alcohol on the skin! Pilling with sunscreen..... I rarely wear makeup these days, and usually just apply a brightening moisturizer with SPF. But when I used this in the morning and then applied sunscreen, it pilled up like dead skin... So I'm planning to use it only at night.
TipDue to the high concentration of AHA/BHA, it's recommended to use only at night! They suggest using sunscreen if you apply it in the morning, but it pilled for me, so I don't recommend it! That's why my day and night routines are different these days! Day Routine Dr. Oracle Anti-Bac Cleansing Foam (highly recommended!!!) for cleansing Dr. Oracle Toner pat pat Steam Base Serum (great for regeneration after Fraxel!) pat pat Zeroid Intensive Cream pat pat! Dr. G Orange Sunscreen pat pat!! Night Routine First cleanse with cleansing water using a Daiso foam maker (pro tip!) Second cleanse with Dr. Oracle Anti-Bac Cleansing Foam Tocobo Lemon Toner (highly recommended!!!!) pat pat 2-3 times!! Zeroid Intensive Cream pat pat!!! It's been extremely cold and dry lately, but I'm managing to keep my skin somewhat hydrated. I highly recommend the Lemon Toner + Zeroid combination!

The color reminds me of Pocari Sweat. The scent is like unsweetened lemonade, which might be hit or miss for those sensitive to fragrances. While it's a shame there are some potentially harmful ingredients, I didn't experience any major blemishes or burning sensation. It absorbs well and quickly with a nice application. Since it's recommended to use sunscreen during the day, I only applied it at night about 4 times a week. No significant blemishes occurred. I didn't see immediate brightening or improvements in dead skin cells and pores, but given the AHA/BHA ingredients, I think effects will show with continued use. It seems good for those with large pores, combination dehydrated skin, and blemish-prone skin. The lack of irritation is its biggest advantage. I've used BHA pads before, and while pads are convenient, this is gentler and better as a first step in skincare. I heard cotton pads aren't great for skin, so I just gently pat it in with my palms. It absorbs super fast. Since it's not recommended to use AHA/BHA daily, I suggest using it 3-4 times a week.
ConsThe downside is that the cap feels like it needs a lot of turning. It doesn't smoothly twist all the way in one go, you have to keep turning it bit by bit. The cap rolls easily, I dropped it on the bathroom floor yesterday... :( Those who dislike citrus scents probably won't be able to use this. If you apply emulsion right after this, the emulsion might leave a slight white residue before absorbing. It could cause pilling if applied in the morning.
TipAbsorption is amazing when applied right after cleansing. Recommended 4 times a week for those with oily skin.

It's not your typical artificial lemon fragrance, but rather the invigorating aroma you get when peeling a real lemon. Personally, I found the clean scent quite appealing. The texture is similar to an essence, with a bit of viscosity. This gives it a more substantial feel as it absorbs well into the skin. When applied, it doesn't evaporate quickly, leaving my skin feeling hydrated and moisturized.
ConsThe absorption could be better. Even after patting it in thoroughly, when I apply the next step like an emulsion or cream, it tends to pill. It's not ideal for use as an exfoliating toner. Due to its essence-like consistency, it doesn't saturate cotton pads well, and I felt some irritation when wiping my skin. Rather than using it as an exfoliating toner, it's better to gently pat it into the skin for absorption.
TipThis product feels a bit heavy for summer use but works well in dry winter months. Be careful not to apply too much, as it can take time to absorb and may lead to pilling. It's best to find the right amount that works for your skin type.
