Love that there's no alcohol smell. You can really notice the difference when applying sunscreen with and without it. Without it, sunscreen tends to pill, but after using this, that doesn't happen.
ConsIt's frustrating how little product comes out when applying to a cotton pad. Wish the opening was a bit larger.

I want to assure you that this review is written honestly without exaggeration* ✅Skin Type [Dry/Sensitive/Allergy-prone atopic] -Super sensitive skin that can't easily switch cosmetics -Occasionally gets contact dermatitis even from familiar products when skin condition is poor *My skin was slightly sensitive when I started using this product..! However, for the sake of those with similar skin types, I bravely used it daily, prepared for potential skin reactions! The review might be long as I've written it in detail ✅Texture I expected a thin consistency, but it's surprisingly viscous. Among the AHA products I've tried, this felt the most hydrating to me, which I consider a plus. I appreciated that it reduced the typical physical exfoliation sensation of exfoliating toners ✅Usage Review [No makeup, used after light cleansing in the evening] -Day 1 For the first use, I wiped it off thinking it was an adjustment period for the lemon extract and AHA. I felt a slight tingling sensation immediately after application.. I quickly checked the mirror in surprise, but unexpectedly there was no redness or itching, and it calmed down soon after... -Day 3 I was apprehensive about using AHA continuously as I'd never done so before, but it seems I've adapted. Unlike the first day, there was no stinging or irritation at all. It felt like applying a hyaluronic acid toner No other noticeable effects yet -Day 5 My previously sensitive skin has calmed down significantly Dead skin cells around my temples and chin have reduced, and my face seems brighter. It's as if it's become fairer, though only I could tell. Also, I usually get blemishes on my forehead before my period, but for some reason, they didn't appear this time.. It could be hormonal, but I think it might be thanks to the toner since that's the only thing I changed.. -Day 10 Fine flakes have significantly reduced, and comparing photos, my skin has definitely brightened overall. I think I'm experiencing the synergy of lemon extract and AHA. I'm really satisfied with how my skin has become fairer! It seems I'm one of those sensitive skin types that responds well to lemon. I'm pleased to see results so quickly after using it for a short time. When I finish this, I'm considering buying the essence and cream from the same company. I feel like using them together might be even more effective
Cons✅As it's a mild product, the exfoliating effect appears gradually. Those who enjoy physical exfoliation might find it a bit slow ✅When I applied a soothing ampoule immediately after use, it stung every time I rolled it on! Those with sensitive skin should absolutely wait for complete absorption before applying anything else
Tip💛For those with sensitive skin like mine, it's best to gradually increase usage time of AHA toners to let your skin adapt to the ingredients! 🚫Never use with other exfoliating products like retinol, vitamin C, etc.! The worst routine would be (deep cleansing - exfoliation - AHA toner - vitamin C)

Texture It's a lightweight, runny toner with slightly more viscosity than water. I found it worked better as an essence-toner rather than an exfoliating toner. When used as an exfoliating toner, it caused some dragging and mild irritation. 2. Hydration It provides just the right amount of hydration you'd expect from a toner - neither too much nor too little. The texture isn't completely watery, so it leaves your skin with a balanced level of moisture. 3. Finish There's a slight tightness and stickiness to the finish. 4. Scent The lemonade scent is amazing! It smells just like that canned lemonade drink from back in the day. If you're a fan of citrus scents, you'll love this! 5. Dead skin cell care When used as an essence-toner rather than an exfoliating toner, I didn't notice significant effects on dead skin cells yet. However, it contains AHA and BHA, so with consistent use, it should be quite effective. 6. Irritation level It's practically irritation-free! Despite the high concentration of AHA, there's no irritation at all. As someone who enjoys and frequently uses toners with acid ingredients, I had no issues, and it didn't irritate my eyes either.
ConsWhile I liked it overall, the packaging was a bit inconvenient. The thicker consistency makes it hard to dispense - it comes out in small amounts, which can be frustrating. Also, while the lemon-shaped cap is cute, it's a bit awkward to open and close.
TipUse it as an essence-toner! Apply it by patting it into your palms - this method is less irritating than using it as an exfoliating toner and leaves your skin feeling firm and hydrated.

Appearance The packaging is adorably designed to match current trends. When I opened it, the cute little lemon-shaped bottle made me smile without even realizing it! 2. Fragrance There's a subtle lemon scent, but it's not artificial. It's more like a lemon fragrance mixed with fresh grass, which I really enjoyed. 3. Texture I was surprised it wasn't a watery consistency. It has a thicker, mucus-like texture, so I applied it with my hands instead of a cotton pad for better absorption. 4. Blemishes I have combination dehydrated skin prone to folliculitis, but thankfully, this lemon toner didn't cause any breakouts. I'm always worried about reactions to new products, so I was relieved and used it even more enthusiastically after confirming it didn't irritate my skin!
ConsThe product doesn't dispense easily, which can be a bit frustrating. The mucus-like texture makes it come out slowly. If you dislike sticky products, you might find it a bit heavy, though I didn't think it was too bad. Also, it's better to apply with your hands rather than using it as an exfoliating toner. After a few applications, I haven't seen dramatic brightening effects yet, but I'm sure it'll improve with consistent use!
TipIt's not exactly a pro tip, but I keep it in the bathroom to use right after showering for hydration. Since my skin tends to be dehydrated, I spend a long time patting it in to ensure proper absorption.

This Hwahae Testers review covers usage from 11/15 to 11/18. Despite having no major complaints, I've given 4 stars as I haven't used it long enough to confidently declare it the best product. My skin type: Previously super sensitive (thin skin that easily reddened and felt hot with slight irritation, and reacted badly to unsuitable products). After strengthening my skin barrier and immunity over time, I now occasionally get a painful red blemish and tend to have dry skin prone to dead skin cells. Texture: A viscous, runny-nose-like consistency that doesn't immediately absorb into cotton pads. It's close to the thickness of a hydrating ampoule. Scent: A pleasant, fresh, and zesty lemon peel fragrance (not sweet). Application: Despite containing AHA and BHA for exfoliation, I was surprised by its thick, viscous texture. I expected a thin, volatile, cooling sensation like similar products I've used before. It feels moisturizing enough that I might skip my usual ampoule step. There's no burning or tingling sensation at all - I even applied it right after squeezing a blemish on my forehead without any discomfort. I'm amazed at how gentle it is, with no irritation even around the eyes. It feels so mild that you wouldn't guess it's an exfoliating toner if not told. While I could only use other products once or twice a week due to irritation, this seems suitable for daily use. Blemishes: My skin felt comfortable during application, immediately after, and long after use. No redness, itching, or new blemishes appeared. Usage experience: I applied it generously on a cotton pad, gently exfoliating areas with more dead skin cells. Then I patted an additional layer with my hands. The hydration was so good that I reduced my usual two layers of ampoule to one, followed by a 1:1 mix of moisturizing and hydrating creams. The next morning, I noticed smoother skin on my chin and between my eyebrows, and less oiliness in my T-zone after sleeping. Packaging: Absolutely adorable! The lemon-shaped cap and clean, translucent bottle give a refreshing feel. I find myself playfully touching the lemon cap whenever I see it on my vanity.
ConsPersonally, I'm not a fan of runny-nose textures as they can feel heavy (though the unique lemon scent prevents any discomfort). It might feel a bit heavy for use outside of fall and winter. The cotton pad doesn't saturate quickly, so you need to keep dispensing product. To be honest, I don't have many complaints... I'll update if any issues arise with continued use.
TipAHA and BHA products are best used in the evening as they exfoliate. If used during the day, always apply sunscreen.

Glides on smoothly but absorbs quickly with a light, refreshing feel. Dry skin types might find it a bit lacking in moisture. While it does provide hydration, it's more of a light layer. I found it necessary to follow up with a serum/ampoule and cream after using this toner. Scent: Lemon fragrance. It's a fresh scent, but might be polarizing. Compared to other 150ml products, this one feels noticeably smaller in size. I like to use it by first soaking a cotton pad and gently wiping it over my entire face, then using a fresh pad for a second application, focusing on areas that need extra attention. I definitely noticed my skin becoming smoother with improved texture! With both AHA and BHA in a gentle, slightly acidic formula, it's great for daily exfoliation. Since it contains both AHA and BHA for exfoliation, those with extremely sensitive skin might experience some irritation. However, as someone with slightly sensitive to normal skin, I didn't notice any particular irritation while using it. When used before makeup, it acts like a booster, helping other skincare products absorb better, which ultimately leads to a smoother makeup application! The product design is honestly super cute!
ConsWhile the lemon-shaped cap is adorable, it feels a bit stiff, making it somewhat inconvenient to use. The product dispenses in small amounts, which can be good for controlling how much you use, but it can be frustrating when you're trying to get more out. I was hoping for brightening effects and a clearer complexion, but I haven't seen those results yet. This might require longer-term use to see such effects.
TipI recommend using both as an exfoliating toner and for spot treatments on blemish-prone areas.
