ConsThe attached applicator tip is too blunt, and it's difficult to control the amount. You'll need a different tool.
TipInstead of using the product's own applicator, try applying it with a silicone brush!

The shimmer is so gorgeous, it's dazzling to look at!
ConsIt seems to harden if not used frequently. The thick applicator tip makes it difficult to apply.
TipFor easier application, try using a cotton swab to dab it on.

Just a little bit creates a dazzling, blingy effect! The silver pearl adds an extra touch of allure. I found that since the applicator tip isn't too wide, you can control the amount easily. With careful application, it's possible to use sparingly, dotting it on precisely where you want it.
ConsThe downside is... the glitter is really tough to remove during cleansing. It takes a lot of effort to completely wipe away all those silver sparkles. Also, the product tends to come out in clumps, so controlling the amount is crucial. If you just swipe it on with the applicator, it can leave brush-like streaks, so I wouldn't recommend applying it over large areas. And being a Stila product, it's on the pricier side.

These days, with so many other glitter products on the market, Stila might seem old school, but personally, I still love it. There's a bit of clumping, but if you blend it out with your fingers, it's practically unnoticeable. From a distance, Stila products give that twinkling, starry-eyed look!
ConsIf I had to nitpick, the brush is a bit too big. So you either have to use a smaller brush or apply it with your fingers, which can be a bit of a hassle. Also, if you accidentally brush against your face, you'll end up with glitter everywhere.
TipJust dab a little on your fingertip or lightly coat a brush, then apply for the perfect finish.

The color payoff is definitely impressive.
ConsThe brush is quite thick, so it's easy to overdo it if you're not careful. Cotton swabs are a must-have for application!

This product strikes the perfect balance between comfortable subtlety and glamorous flair. When swatched on the back of your hand with the built-in applicator, it appears as a rather intense bronze(?) color that looks dark and rich. However, when applied thinly to the aegyo sal (under-eye area) with a cotton swab or small brush, the pearls shine through while the dark base color is barely noticeable. This creates a very different and prettier effect compared to the hand swatch! When it first became popular, I tried it at the store and passed on it because it seemed too dark and intense. But later, when I saw how beautiful it looked on my friend and found out it was this product, I ended up buying it belatedly. It's ethereal without being excessive, and the pearls never look cheap. Instead, they give a dewy appearance that's absolutely stunning. Sometimes, pearl pigments can look like cheap glitter with obvious square shapes, but this one, befitting its price and reputation, looks luxurious and beautiful. I love that you can adjust the intensity from a subtle shimmer to a strong sparkle depending on how much you apply. A light application allows for a subtle pearl effect on the aegyo sal for everyday wear, while building it up creates a glamorous sparkle that's perfect for statement looks or more intense makeup. The color is versatile enough to complement any eyeshadow shade. It blends seamlessly with any style or color palette. It's neither too yellow-gold, nor too pink, nor too cyber-white silver - it's amazingly versatile and suits just about anything. The pearls give a dewy, radiant effect, and the particle size is perfect for the aegyo sal. They're not so chunky as to look unnatural or overwhelming for daily wear, nor are they so fine as to be barely noticeable. They're just right - beautiful and pleasant. This product really nails that sweet spot between comfortable subtlety and glamorous flair. If you apply it thinly close to the lower lash line, it makes your under-eye area look dewy, your eyes clearer and prettier, and even gives the illusion of slightly enlarged eyes, eliminating any sense of heaviness! (I found this effect works best when applied thinly near the lower lash line rather than thickly all over the aegyo sal) It pairs perfectly with the Ecmul 01 brush. Using this brush is a game-changer compared to using cotton swabs, fingers, lip brushes, or bullet brushes. It's like upgrading the same liquid shadow to a different product altogether! I highly recommend the Ecmul 01 brush. It's great for both light and thick applications, and it applies the product evenly and delicately. It's also very easy to use. You don't need any special technique - it naturally controls the amount and applies thinly and evenly. Its small and delicate size makes it easy to apply precisely in narrow areas. The built-in applicator is unusable, but with the Ecmul brush, this product truly feels upgraded to the next level. The staying power is also excellent. Being a liquid type, there's no powder or pearl fallout, and it lasts a long time. It dries quickly after application, and once it sets, it really stays put. I've never had pearls fall onto my cheeks, and it always stays intact until I get home. The aegyo sal area never looks patchy. For reference, I have oily skin, and even in the middle of a 36°C summer heatwave, wearing a mask all day with my oily skin, it stayed perfectly in place! It's also a versatile shade that doesn't lean too warm or cool. You don't have to stick to only pink pearls for cool tones or yellow-gold for warm tones. As long as the color isn't too extreme or overpowering, most pearl shades can work well. I'm a very cool-toned person (light undertone that's very temperature sensitive), but this worked comfortably well for me. I usually stick to cool, colorless pearls, but surprisingly, this suited me well. Even though I usually can't tolerate even slightly yellow tones, this was fine. I recommend giving it a try! I have four colors of this product at home, and while other products can be tone-specific, this one surprisingly works across different skin tones.
ConsThe built-in applicator is really subpar. Even the mini tip that was released later isn't up to the task for delicate aegyo sal application. The Ecmul 01 brush is an absolute must-have as a set. Even if you try to use the built-in applicator on your eyelids, it applies the product too thickly and unevenly, with poor control over the amount. It's questionable whether the built-in applicator is actually usable at all! The store had a discount on this version with the original tip rather than the mini tip, so I bought it again. But since I'll be using a brush anyway, it doesn't matter. In fact, the thicker original tip is better for coating the brush. It's a bit on the pricier side, and while it comes in a large quantity, it tends to thicken and dry out after 1-2 years. You can't use it for too long before needing to buy a new one, so the large amount feels a bit wasteful. It would be great if they could slightly reduce the price and offer a mini version - that would be really useful! Since I mainly use it for the aegyo sal, I use very small amounts each time. It's almost impossible to use it all up before it dries out, and even if you use a clean brush and try to keep it hygienic for as long as possible, it still ends up drying out, which feels a bit wasteful. I've bought a total of 4 different colors of this product so far, and this applies to all of them! Also, while it's not a major drawback, it does have a bit of bulk to it. You can really feel the volume when putting it in your makeup pouch or storing it. And since you need a separate brush, the square shape always felt a bit bulky compared to other products.
TipUsing this with the Ecmul 01 brush, rather than a cotton swab, truly transforms the quality of the same product. It applies thinly and evenly, making it easy for even those with less makeup experience to use precisely. The thin, even application also improves longevity and is so convenient. The brush has synthetic bristles, is easy to maintain, comes in a pretty sky blue color, and I remember it costing only around 9,000 won. I bought it for aegyo sal application over a year and a half ago, and I've been using it daily ever since. I highly recommend it. Compared to using cotton swabs, it's much easier to apply, looks prettier, and lasts longer. After getting the Ecmul brush 01, I found myself using this product much more frequently. If you apply it too thickly, it actually reduces longevity and the pearls tend to wear off easily. A thin, even application lasts much longer. If you want a stronger effect, apply a thin, even layer, let it dry completely, then repeat the process, building up layers. This works much better. For a more dimensional look, try applying a powder eyeshadow with subtle, fine shimmer (not liquid, but from a palette) all over the aegyo sal area, then layer this Stila product thinly just below the lower lash line in a narrow area. Alternatively, you could use all matte eyeshadows and then add this pearl product just under the eyes for a pop of shine. This brightens the eyes, makes them look more open, adds a dewy liveliness, and creates a beautiful focal point!

Truly beautiful. Shimmer: While not ultra-fine, the particles create a dazzling, twinkling effect. Pure radiance. Staying power: Once applied, you need to blend quickly. It sets fast and doesn't budge at all. As a result, there's zero fallout.
ConsThe thick applicator tip makes it challenging to control the amount. Due to its excellent fixing power, corrections are difficult. If you're not familiar with it, proceed with caution.
TipPro tip: Consider purchasing a mini applicator.

It's an absolute must-have for shimmer lovers. This pearl eyeshadow is truly in a league of its own!
ConsWhile there's not much to complain about, the applicator tip is a bit too large, which can lead to clumping. If you're planning to use it for under-eye highlights, make sure to order the mini tip version!

I stubbornly stuck to powder shadows until I saw my friend's under-eyes sparkling magnificently in the sunlight - that's when I immediately bought Kitten Karma! If you're a magpie who loves all things sparkly, this is an absolute must-have! While there are many similar products out there, sometimes the original is the best - you won't regret trying this one! The base color is a champagne shade leaning towards beige, packed with silver glitter particles of various sizes! Despite the large glitter size, it doesn't feel gritty like loose glitter. It's more like finely crushed silver foil - you know, like the kind you find when separating gum wrappers? When swatched on the back of your hand, it adheres beautifully, as if you've applied actual foil. Even though it's silver glitter, the base color and the densely packed sparkles make it blend well as a highlight in gradient eye looks. It's not so much an ethereal glitter as it is a bold, glamorous one. I'm thoroughly impressed with the color, glitter payoff, and staying power!
ConsIt might be a bit too glamorous for everyday wear. It could stand out a bit too much in an office setting, but I make sure to pack it for after-work events! Product control is crucial with this one. The original applicator is thick and has a sponge-like tip that's neither a brush nor silicone, making it difficult to apply precisely to small areas. You'll need to use your fingers, a separate brush, or a cotton swab, which can be a bit of a hassle. While they've released a mini-tip version, it still seems too large for application without additional tools. However, if you're buying this product specifically for under-eye use, I definitely recommend the mini-tip version! The quick-drying formula that ensures long-lasting wear comes with a downside - it can dry out in the tube. Even with a good amount of product left, it can become dry and crumbly, making it difficult to apply smoothly. Instead of blending, it just sits on top of the skin, and the longevity isn't what it used to be.
TipWhile the applicator can be tricky, you can achieve better control by using a short, thin brush. Just dab a bit of product and pat it on gently! If your product has dried out despite having plenty left, try this trick: Dispense a small amount onto the back of your hand and mix it with a tiny bit of eye primer or setting spray. Apply it quickly, and you can extend its life a bit longer!

I think it would suit all skin tones beautifully. The texture is smooth and applies effortlessly.
ConsThe applicator tip is too large, making it challenging to apply precisely. As time passes, the shimmer tends to spread across the entire face.
