The gel-type formula absorbs well into the skin. When applying, there's a cool, refreshing sensation. It bursts with hydration upon application, finishing with a slightly sticky feel. It leaves a nice glow on the face. The texture is lightweight, not heavy at all. While it may not be as effective for blemishes or small bumps, it does provide some soothing relief when your face is red, slightly irritated, or experiencing minor skin issues. Though it might sting a bit, it helps calm the skin. The scent has herbal notes, which I personally enjoy. If you apply too much, it can feel more oily than hydrating, leaving a shiny finish on the face. This can make it feel a bit sticky. There's also a slight burning sensation. Try layering it on in small amounts. This seems to reduce the oily feeling. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinNov 14, 2022
It seems to have a good balance of oil and moisture, making it hydrating and moisturizing. I like that it's not too thick and applies smoothly. For me, it feels more oily than hydrating, which is disappointing. I'm not sure about its soothing effects, and I'm not a fan of the packaging. - Hwahae UserDry SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinOct 26, 2022
I'm completely satisfied with this product. It has a great soothing effect, absorbs well, and keeps my skin hydrated. I also really appreciate that it comes in a tube format. While it feels more rich than hydrating, I don't have any complaints about it. - Hwahae UserDry SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinOct 5, 2022
I've been using this product only in the evenings. While I'm not sure about its soothing effects, it doesn't seem to cause any blemishes or irritation, so I'm just using it without any issues. I bought it during a sale, not at full price, and I plan to keep using it for a while longer. The rich texture... how should I put it? Since it's a product I use before bed, I want to apply it generously, but because of the oiliness, I can't apply too much... - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinSep 17, 2022
The container is convenient and easy to squeeze, making it hygienic. The tiny particles in the cream really feel like they're penetrating the skin, giving you a genuine sense that your complexion is improving. Its soothing effect is great for redness and super sensitive skin. Despite having a slightly rich texture, it doesn't feel incredibly hydrating. Due to its oil content, it's more suitable for evening use rather than before makeup application. Personally, I found it pairs well with vitamin ampoules. When used together, I noticed a combined soothing and brightening effect. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinSep 11, 2022
As a calming cream, it's incredibly effective at soothing the skin. It reduces skin heat and has significantly calmed the redness and irritation I was experiencing due to sensitivity. The hydration is excellent too - I've never felt dry while using it. It makes my skin feel so comfortable that I've been using it religiously lately. It's on the richer side, so I wouldn't recommend it for those who completely avoid creams with any oil content. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAtopy SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinAug 30, 2022
The packaging was meticulous and arrived beautifully, which made me feel great as the recipient~ * Application & Texture: It's impressive to see small particles of houttuynia cordata and centella asiatica leaves in the cream. It absorbs well as you apply it. The application is comfortable, with a texture between a cream and a gel. It seems perfect for summer or for soothing blemishes. * Scent: It's not unscented, but has a subtle, natural fragrance which I personally enjoyed. * Soothing & Effectiveness: Although I haven't used it for weeks, I definitely felt it reduced the heat in my face and gave a very soothing sensation to my skin. * The container is slightly disappointing, and as I prefer quickly absorbing types, I found the lingering rich feeling a bit unfortunate. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinAug 3, 2022
Scent: As someone who loves fresh, natural fragrances, I really enjoyed the subtle aroma of this product! It's delightful! Gentle on skin: The biggest advantage is how mild it is. I was thrilled that this product didn't irritate my skin at all! My skin has been so sensitive lately due to wearing masks, and even slightly harsh skincare products cause havoc. This cream was gentle and suitable even for my troubled skin! I highly recommend it to those looking for a mild, non-irritating cream (though I'm not sure about its effectiveness). Price: I felt the price was reasonable for the amount you get. I bought it during a sale on Hwahae for only 9,900 won - what a bargain! It's great to be able to purchase such a good product at an affordable price, considering its volume and quality. Packaging: As shown in the photo below, holes started appearing in the tube as I used it. At first, I liked the luxurious hand cream-like packaging, but I was surprised when 2-3 holes appeared during use. (I'm now using tape to cover the holes) Oiliness: This product feels more oily than moisturizing. The greasiness is quite noticeable, causing my makeup to pill when applied beforehand. (I recommend using only a small amount and allowing it to absorb thoroughly before applying makeup!) Particles: There are leaf-like particles in the cream, and occasionally a large piece would remain on my face. I've been startled a few times when I've gone out and noticed a leaf stuck to my face! Apply a small amount and gently pat it into your skin for better absorption. This will prevent your makeup from pilling! If you're in a hurry, quickly apply it all over your face and then lightly press with a paper towel to remove excess oil. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinJul 6, 2022
Texture: The best thing about this product is its texture, which falls between a gel and a cream! It's not too runny like a gel, nor too heavy like a cream, making it perfect for application in this weather without feeling burdensome. Ingredients: I feel reassured that the cream itself doesn't contain any harmful ingredients! However, it's always good to double-check as some ingredients might not suit certain skin types. My skin responds well to ingredients like centella and houttuynia cordata, so I found it soothing and didn't experience any blemishes, which made me love it even more. Scent: While it might be a matter of personal preference, I personally enjoyed the fresh scent that's a mix of herbal and slightly medicinal notes. Absorption: As mentioned earlier, the texture being between a gel and a cream contributes to its quick absorption, which I really like! As it absorbs, you can feel a slight cooling effect, and with herb-like leaves in the cream, it gives a soothing sensation. Packaging: It has that typical hand cream packaging, which tends to burst when you're almost done with the product. The design makes it difficult to squeeze out the last bits, which is the most disappointing aspect. Oiliness: It's not completely oil-free, so the finish isn't entirely clean. There's a slightly sticky feeling that can make your skin feel a bit heavy. Due to its rich texture, it's better suited for nighttime use rather than morning application! After prepping your skin with toner, apply a thin layer of this calming cream. You'll wake up to soothed and hydrated skin the next morning. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinJul 2, 2022
From the moment I received it, this product gave me a good feeling! The packaging impressed me right away - the box was sealed with paper tape, and instead of plastic bubble wrap, they used paper filling inside. Even the product box itself was sealed with paper tape! When I squeezed some cream onto the back of my hand, I noticed a fresh scent. While it might be polarizing for some, it's not overpowering and doesn't smell artificial, so even those who are sensitive to fragrances might be able to use it without much discomfort. The 70ml size is quite generous, and a little goes a long way in terms of hydration, so it should last quite a while. Even though it's July and summer, I found that after using a toner pad and applying toner twice, a small amount of this cream was enough to deeply hydrate my combination dehydrated skin. It left my skin feeling satisfyingly moisturized all the way through. I want to be honest about the aspects of this product that I found disappointing. As I mentioned earlier, I have oily skin that lacks hydration and is dry underneath. While I didn't notice it during application, immediately after applying even a small amount, my skin looked extremely shiny, as if I'd applied oil. While this might be great for those with dry skin, as someone with oily skin, I found the richness to be excessive. You can see what I mean in the last photo. I really only used a tiny amount for my entire face, so it's not like I over-applied, but it still looked that shiny. However, I'll share a tip below on how I managed to make it work for me! While this product has many good points, the richness is the one aspect that's a bit inconvenient for me. That's why my 'cons' section ended up being longer, but I've found a way to make it work! Here's my tip: After applying the cream and letting it absorb well, lightly wipe your face with a cotton pad slightly dampened with toner. This removes excess oil while leaving just the right amount, preventing dust from sticking and giving a nice finish. Some might wonder if wiping off the cream defeats the purpose of applying it in the first place, or if it will still provide hydration. But if you apply a moderate amount and let it absorb well, you'll find that the deep hydration remains while only the surface oiliness is reduced. The key point is to let it absorb well! Even those with oily skin can try using it this way.
