The texture is between a gel and a cream, but it's not too light. Being a calming product, I thought it might be a fresh, lightweight cream focused on hydration, but the moisturizing effect actually lasts quite long. It's not the type that overwhelms your skin with excess oil and moisture, yet it doesn't evaporate quickly. True to its name, it feels cool when applied, offering a slight soothing effect. While not necessarily a drawback, it's obviously not enough for the dead of winter. This isn't a winter cream. There are small particles in it, and when my skin was super sensitive, it occasionally caused a tingling sensation. It's best not to apply it with too much pressure. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinFeb 11, 2024
1. Absorbs well I have dry skin, and this applies smoothly and adheres nicely to my skin. 2. Has a refreshing peppermint scent. It seems like a natural fragrance from the ingredients rather than artificial, which is pleasant and invigorating. 3. Provides adequate hydration 1. I only changed this product in my skincare routine, but suddenly the skin barrier on my cheeks collapsed, causing stinging, pain, redness, and chaos. Looking at the ingredient list, glycerin is the second ingredient. My skin always reacts badly when I use cosmetics with high glycerin content. This isn't just with this product, it's always been the case. I wish I had checked the ingredients before using it. My skin is in so much pain... 2. Poor compatibility with makeup When I apply makeup after using this, my makeup breaks down terribly. Absolutely not recommended for dry, redness-prone, sensitive skin that's reactive to glycerin. * Additional review * It took about a week for my cheek's skin barrier to recover. Although glycerin is considered a safe ingredient, it really doesn't work for me. It's not that it never works, but when it's present above a certain percentage, it always causes stinging and peeling. I think it's because the skin on my face is thin. It's fine on my body... Even now, I'm using another brand's cream with glycerin as the second ingredient, and it's okay. Perhaps the glycerin ratio is more suitable? If you're someone whose skin reacts badly even to mild creams like this, definitely consider suspecting the glycerin content! I like products from this brand. If only the ingredients had suited me, it would have been an excellent cream with good absorption. - Hwahae UserNormal SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinOct 13, 2023
It has just the right amount of richness and is great for hydration. The quantity is generous too. Sometimes it feels a bit warm on the skin, and when my skin was super sensitive, it caused a tingling sensation. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinJul 30, 2023
The absorption was decent, and although I didn't have high expectations, it wasn't bad at all. Despite not applying it to areas with blemishes, I experienced a slight tingling sensation. Personally, I don't prefer products that increase skin sensitivity, so that was disappointing. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinJun 24, 2023
I purchased this on June 13th for 3000 won. It comes in a 70ml size. *Absorption: Despite being a cream, it has a texture between a cream and an emulsion, applying smoothly. *Absorption: For my dry skin, it absorbs really well. *Hydration: It feels moisturizing and fresh, seeming to last for a long time. I bought it knowing there were bits in it from other reviews, but it is a bit bothersome. Some bits break down easily, but others need to be picked out. It has a strong herbal scent, which I don't prefer as I like unscented products. There's a slight tingling sensation when applied. This tingling doesn't persist though, and fades over time. Contains bits of ingredients. Strong fragrance. Slight tingling sensation upon application. I'm using it like a hydrating mask. - Hwahae UserDry SkinJun 11, 2023
It absorbs well and the tube packaging allows for hygienic use. After about a week of use, I noticed the small blemishes on my forehead were disappearing. The menthol scent is stronger than expected, and there's a slight tingling sensation on the skin for about 5-7 seconds. It feels a bit prickly at first. However, after a week of use, the burning sensation and tingling have subsided! If you're using it for the first time, try applying it separately to your forehead, cheeks, and chin. Wait about 5 seconds before letting it absorb into your skin to reduce the tingling. The prickling sensation usually goes away after 3-4 days of use. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinJun 4, 2023
As someone with combination skin, I found this product worked wonders on its own! When I applied it generously at night, I woke up with a slightly dewy complexion, but it felt wonderfully hydrated. I also quite enjoyed the subtle herbal scent. When my skin is particularly dry, applying this alone can cause a slight tingling sensation! However, it's only momentary during application, so it wasn't too bothersome. - Hwahae UserDry SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinMar 11, 2023
It absorbs well, leaving the skin feeling soft and moisturized. The absorption rate is average, but the hydration lasts for a long time. I love the subtle herbal scent! It's easy to use, and the tube packaging is both hygienic and convenient for on-the-go application. There's a strong peppermint or mint scent that can cause a slight tingling sensation, which might be uncomfortable for some. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinMar 7, 2023
I really liked the texture of this product. The finish doesn't feel like it's just sitting on top of your skin. Instead, it leaves your skin feeling moisturized and refreshed, which I think is a big plus. Sometimes when my skin isn't in the best condition, it can feel a bit tingling when I apply it. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinJan 30, 2023
The ingredients are great and the packaging is beautiful. The price is also quite reasonable for what you get. I bought this based on the ingredients list, but something doesn't agree with my skin. It stings a bit... It's not causing a full-on reaction, but I feel a slight allergic reaction, so I've only used it a few times and can't use it anymore. Also, the texture is gel-like, so I thought it would provide good hydration, but the finish is too slippery. It's not heavy, but it leaves an oily finish. It feels like it's just slippery on the surface without deeply hydrating, so I tried layering it a few times, but it pills immediately. I was shocked when it turned green. I absolutely can't use this before makeup in the morning.
