As someone with oily skin, I loved how it gave me a matte finish. It's so good that I don't even need to use powder separately. There was a bit of darkening, which was slightly disappointing, but it wasn't too severe. With some careful touch-ups, it works just fine. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAtopy SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinMar 8, 2024
This cushion is a game-changer! While other cushions make my skin flake, pill, and trigger my atopic dermatitis, this one is perfect. It offers great coverage without caking or sliding, and it's an absolute perfect match for my skin. If you don't set it with powder, it can leave marks. However, applying powder for touch-ups can make it look cakey. There's some slight darkening if your skin isn't in top condition. It can also be drying - I was fine because my skin is quite hydrated, but my friend said it nearly dried her out completely. For setting, I find that a no-sebum powder works best. It allows for touch-ups without leaving noticeable marks. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinOct 8, 2023
Oh no, I think I made a silly mistake! I accidentally ordered shade 13 thinking it was 23, and when I applied it to my face, I looked like I was ready for a kabuki performance! I only realized my error after I had finished applying it. On the bright side, though, it leaves a powdery finish that makes my skin feel baby-soft. The compact case is also nice and small, making it convenient to carry around, and its simple design isn't overwhelming. I wasn't sure whether to list this as a pro or a con, but there is a bit of darkening. However, since I mistakenly ordered a lighter shade as mentioned above, this actually worked out well for me! Seasonal recommendations by skin type: Spring: Oily, combination dehydrated, combination Summer: Dry, combination dehydrated, oily, combination Fall: Oily, combination Winter: Oily Note: For dry skin types, it's recommended to have a solid skincare routine in place when using this product in seasons other than summer. - Hwahae UserNormal SkinAug 4, 2023
This product wasn't bad for summer use. The mint-colored case is pretty too. It creates a beautiful skin finish and seems great for those with oily skin! There's a bit of darkening, and after a few hours, you can see some settling and separation. It wasn't great when touching up makeup. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinMar 29, 2023
It's absolutely perfect for summer use! Highly recommended! Everyone should give it a try! There are no downsides! No blemishes either! It's great, but there's a bit of darkening, so you might want to go for a shade lighter It works wonderfully when applied with a sponge or spatula! It adheres to the skin perfectly! - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinJan 24, 2023
I'm updating my review after using this product for a while. While it's a product that requires a rich base due to dead skin cells becoming more noticeable over time, the issue is that it feels thick when reapplying. Eventually, the skin doesn't look as beautiful as time passes. The formula itself seems to apply thickly. There's also some darkening. I wish it had come out a bit brighter, considering the potential for darkening. Anyway, I'm planning to switch to a different product because of this. ♥♥♥ Please don't discontinue this product ever..!!!! ♥♥♥ After using this, all my blemishes disappeared. It's truly a life-changing cosmetic. I invested about $4,000 at dermatology clinics over 6 months, but my skin kept breaking out due to other cushions. I realized that only when I use this, my blemishes subside. For reference, I'm a serious cushion nomad. I've thrown away so many cosmetics during my nomadic lifestyle and spent hundreds of dollars recently. Here are the good points about this cushion: 🙏 The ingredients are so much better compared to recent cushions! You know what? Those with sensitive skin must avoid products with allergens. I really like that it doesn't contain stearic acid or chemical UV filters. Most cushions contain ethylhexyl methoxycinnamate (which is really bad for sensitive skin with redness.. it causes red patches when you sweat or get hot), but the No Sebum Cushion doesn't have it! You can really feel how much thought they put into it. 🙏 You know what? Innisfree is indeed the king of No Sebum!! True to its origins, it keeps oil at bay with its powder ingredients. (By the way, I break out if I use ambiguous semi-matte products.. I have extremely oily skin, confirmed by dermatologists.) 🙏 It applies so thinly, which I love!!!! I really care about makeup not breaking down, and this one makes my skin look beautiful. (I hate when makeup applies thickly.. later it cracks and slides off, making you look worse than bare-faced.. what's the point of makeup then?) Other products get thicker and break down messily with each touch-up, but this one applies so thinly that even if I layer it heavily (due to acne scars), it doesn't look excessive! I highly recommend this to those with very oily skin like me. I knew Innisfree was famous for No Sebum, but personally, I'm allergic to corn, so the standalone No Sebum powder (which contains corn starch) didn't work for me. But this one contains silica (chemical) which controls oiliness! This ingredient really works well for me... Especially in summer, when oily skin sweats, it immediately causes eczema and excessive oil.. silica seems to solve it all. Maybe people like me with sensitive skin and allergies don't do well with natural ingredients~ (just my personal opinion..) Anyway, this doesn't have any allergy-causing ingredients, and only one out of 20 caution ingredients.. other cushions were much worse.. There were some with absolutely no harmful ingredients, but I can't remember the names.. They weren't very famous, but I remember they were extremely oily.. They had good ingredients but lots of natural oil components... That's why I broke out... As someone who breaks out just from using cushions, not only did I not get new blemishes while using this, but existing ones also stopped growing. I can use it without worrying about breakouts! There's absolutely no cushion as powdery as this one... Highly recommended for those with extremely oily skin.. Honestly, there aren't many cushions for extremely oily skin on the market.. Even if they come out, none are as powdery as this one at this point.. Oh, there are some, but I tried them recently and had a breakout explosion (those famous ones like He* Black and Age**** Master Cover, E*** B Velvet) La** Ne* Cushion or something is also famous, but I passed on it after hearing many people broke out from it.. Ingredients are indeed important. The darkening... If you look at the photo, I applied it on the right side first, and within 30 minutes, I applied it again on the left side.. Can you see the difference? Personally, my facial skin matches better with the left color and looks brighter, which I like, but over time it changes to the right color. Actually, I switched to He*, Es** in the middle because of the darkening~ The color from these brands was definitely brighter and prettier.. But I got a lot of blemishes. So I eventually came back to the No Sebum Cushion.. I wish they would slightly renew the color.. But keep the ingredients as gentle as they are now. I hope it comes out a bit brighter, anticipating the darkening. There are no other complaints!!! The case is also clean and pretty. I think I'll cry if it's discontinued.. There's nothing else in this world with such good ingredients and powdery finish. If there is, please let me know. Actually, Isoi Cover Fit Pact was my all-time favorite item, but it was discontinued. After struggling for over a year, I discovered Innisfree No Sebum Cushion.. I'm using it because it's as powdery as the discontinued Isoi Cover Fit (though Isoi's color was better.. and honestly, Isoi was the best in terms of not breaking down..) ++++ The puff is really bad. Personally, I like Espoir's velvet puff.. ++++ I'm just planning to use this forever... If you find a moisturizer that works well for you and use it with this, it seems to break down beautifully!!! The color also seems to darken less when I use it after hydrating my skin! The best thing is that it doesn't cause blemishes... I also love that it's not oily. Please don't discontinue it.. Please~~~~~ There might be slight emphasis on dead skin cells, but if you have a solid skincare routine, it breaks down beautifully!!! For reference, I use Physiogel as my base. Physiogel might not be good for acne-prone skin, but it seems to work great with this.. (It breaks down beautifully and touch-ups work well even after time has passed) By the way, I get blemishes when I use Physiogel with other cushions.. So at first, I thought Physiogel was causing blemishes and stopped using it, but then I realized it was the cushions I had been using that were the problem. You shouldn't apply Physiogel when your pH balance is disrupted (folliculitis)~ After switching to a slightly acidic cleanser, my folliculitis disappeared, but being oily, I still had issues with small bumps.. But after applying Physiogel and using the No Sebum Cushion, my blemishes are all disappearing.. (If you have extremely oily, acne-prone skin, just try this...) Try changing the puff too..~ - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinJun 12, 2022
It doesn't cause blemishes...!!! It doesn't transfer much to my mask and doesn't cause breakouts, so I keep using it. Hahaha Staying power is zero I'm not sure if it's the poor lasting power or severe oxidation... At first, I used shade 17N, but it seemed to get darker, so I bought shade 13... turns out it just oxidizes badly. I thought I was the only one who didn't like it, but a friend who was using it also said it wasn't great. Changing the puff It's much better Try switching out the puff
