Skin type: 17 shade, combination dehydrated skin Longevity: With the warmer weather, I found the staying power to be great! It's not peak summer yet, so I'm unsure about its sweat resistance. However, true to its 'No Sebum' name, it felt less oily than my usual cushion, which I loved. Darkening: I wasn't too worried about darkening since it's already dark. I just hoped it wouldn't turn muddy, and thanks to its oil control, it barely seemed to break down. While there's some darkening after 10+ hours, it's only about half a shade. Coverage: Being a matte cushion, it definitely provides solid coverage. Just be careful when applying concealer afterwards as it might cake slightly. Use a pore brush or let it dry and set before pressing it into the skin for a seamless finish! Color: The 13 shade felt quite dark... My forearm is exactly 21, so this 13 is definitely dark for its number. Rather than pink or yellow-based, it has an orange tint, which was surprising when I swatched it on my hand. It doesn't give that clear, brightening effect on the face either. Skin texture: It's a bit tricky. Being matte, it'll definitely emphasize texture if you don't prep with exfoliation and intense hydration. I personally like a more noticeable base, but given the current trend for sheer coverage, this might be divisive. Also, it has a powdery feel, so except for the nose area, I'd recommend patting it in rather than rubbing to avoid pilling. This seems like a great budget-friendly alternative to Laneige for those with very oily skin! Even those with oily or combination dehydrated skin can find this satisfying in summer with proper skincare prep. - Hwahae UserDehydrated SkinSensitive SkinFeb 8, 2025
I bought this during the Noted collaboration. It's perfect for a matte finish in summer. Due to its matte texture, makeup tends to sit on top. You'll need a solid skincare routine as a base. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinJan 30, 2024
It's truly matte. Better for summer than winter. Ideal for oily skin. It has its pros and cons. While it's matte, it doesn't seem to cover pores well. The shade appears to be a bit dark. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinNov 4, 2023
It's perfect for those with shade 13 skin tone, matching their complexion beautifully As a matte cushion, it doesn't absorb well and doesn't create a particularly flattering skin appearance Make sure to prep your skin well before using! You don't need to apply powder separately - Hwahae UserDry SkinMay 29, 2023
The skin finish is matte yet beautiful, which is absolutely fantastic! Due to its matte nature, if you don't prep your skin thoroughly, it can emphasize dead skin cells and cause patchiness. Make sure to put extra effort into your skincare routine! - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinFeb 23, 2023
I love that it's shade 13 but doesn't make me look ghostly white - it's so natural! It leaves a soft, matte finish that's perfect for those with oily skin. As someone with super sensitive skin, I'm thrilled it didn't cause any blemishes. The added sun protection is a great bonus! For a matte product, the coverage isn't as impressive as I'd hoped. It especially struggles to conceal redness effectively. If you have dry skin, apply a hydrating base first. For best results, dampen the cushion with a facial mist or water before application. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinMar 15, 2022
As someone with oily and extremely sensitive skin prone to blemishes, this product is a godsend. It doesn't cause any irritation and effectively controls excess oil. The matte finish can sometimes accentuate pores, which is a bit bothersome.
