Last year I used Coupang, but after a long time I decided to try Hwahae for my purchases! I'm only a T-zone oily person, but after applying concealer and this product, the hairstylist who I went to for a magic treatment complimented my skin, saying it looked so good. At first I thought it was just empty words, but after the magic treatment, my makeup was still holding up (it took 3 hours), and the stylist even asked me about the cosmetic products I was using. ᩚ It seems like this product really worked well for me! Well, I don't really remember how long I've been using it, but the case is rather unattractive.... There's nothing else, it's soft and nice. Build a strong foundation and proceed correctly! - 9w********Dehydrated SkinAcne SkinDark CirclesInner DrynessDead Skin CellsRecommendedApr 29, 2025
I've had blemishes from other products before, but this one doesn't cause any issues. It's become my go-to, reliable choice. It might be a bit drying in winter, so make sure to apply a solid skincare base before using this cushion. - mo***Combination SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsRecommendedApr 8, 2025
I've been using this cushion exclusively since it was first released. It keeps my skin matte and lasts long during summer. The coverage is absolutely fantastic. There's absolutely nothing to complain about. I can't find a single flaw with this product. - tm*******Combination SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessEnlarged PoresDead Skin CellsRecommendedMar 23, 2025
Skin type: 17 shade, combination dehydrated skin Longevity: With the warmer weather, I found the staying power to be great! It's not peak summer yet, so I'm unsure about its sweat resistance. However, true to its 'No Sebum' name, it felt less oily than my usual cushion, which I loved. Darkening: I wasn't too worried about darkening since it's already dark. I just hoped it wouldn't turn muddy, and thanks to its oil control, it barely seemed to break down. While there's some darkening after 10+ hours, it's only about half a shade. Coverage: Being a matte cushion, it definitely provides solid coverage. Just be careful when applying concealer afterwards as it might cake slightly. Use a pore brush or let it dry and set before pressing it into the skin for a seamless finish! Color: The 13 shade felt quite dark... My forearm is exactly 21, so this 13 is definitely dark for its number. Rather than pink or yellow-based, it has an orange tint, which was surprising when I swatched it on my hand. It doesn't give that clear, brightening effect on the face either. Skin texture: It's a bit tricky. Being matte, it'll definitely emphasize texture if you don't prep with exfoliation and intense hydration. I personally like a more noticeable base, but given the current trend for sheer coverage, this might be divisive. Also, it has a powdery feel, so except for the nose area, I'd recommend patting it in rather than rubbing to avoid pilling. This seems like a great budget-friendly alternative to Laneige for those with very oily skin! Even those with oily or combination dehydrated skin can find this satisfying in summer with proper skincare prep. - bl**********Combination SkinAcne SkinRecommendedFeb 27, 2025
While it doesn't offer heavy coverage, I appreciate its gentle formula. It adheres well to the skin, and with the variety of shades available, you can try different options before deciding. This particular shade gives a radiant complexion. The cushion is a bit small, fitting just two fingers. It would be more convenient to use if it were slightly larger. - to******Dehydrated SkinSensitive SkinSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesEnlarged PoresRecommendedFeb 8, 2025
I bought this during the Noted collaboration. It's perfect for a matte finish in summer. Due to its matte texture, makeup tends to sit on top. You'll need a solid skincare routine as a base. - x9********Oily SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinSebum/BlackheadsRecommendedJan 12, 2025
As someone with oily skin, I loved how it gave me a matte finish. It's so good that I don't even need to use powder separately. There was a bit of darkening, which was slightly disappointing, but it wasn't too severe. With some careful touch-ups, it works just fine. - se*******Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedJan 3, 2025
It has a nice, balanced application feel. It doesn't significantly interfere with your complexion. If you have dry skin, be cautious as it might cause skin cracking. Use with care. - al*********Dehydrated SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessEnlarged PoresRednessDead Skin CellsRecommendedDec 2, 2024
First off, I have super sensitive combination dehydrated skin. I mean, I could probably win an award for the most sensitive skin on the planet! - Longevity Due to my skin type, my makeup tends to break down quickly. That's why I always use a fixer when doing my base makeup! As a result, my base doesn't easily deteriorate. While I can't speak to the longevity of this cushion on its own, when I use it with my Ba**co fixer, you'll see that my skin stays flawless all day long without any touch-ups. - Adherence Personally, I found that the cushion adhered better when I used a Daiso puff instead of the included one. I bought the puffs that come two for a dollar at Daiso and replaced them regularly, which resulted in excellent adherence every time. - Blemishes With my sensitive skin, I usually suffer when I use the wrong cushion or foundation. However, this cushion didn't cause any blemishes at all, except when I was extremely tired or during my period. I'm really satisfied because I can't use many of the popular cushions that others rave about... I chose this one after carefully checking the ingredients, and I'm thrilled that it doesn't cause any skin issues. I think regularly changing the puff might have helped too. - Skin Appearance It feels powdery from the moment you apply it. In my case, I prefer using a matte finish rather than a semi-matte as it's less likely to cause blemishes, so I'm satisfied. However, in winter, it can feel a bit dry, so I use more fixer than usual as a mist to combat the dryness. The Ba**co fixer I use doesn't make my skin overly matte, it just sets the makeup well, so I use it liberally like a mist. - Color I think it's dark for a #13 shade. Even though my skin tone is around #19, the #13 doesn't seem too light for me. There's also a bit of darkening, which the fixer can't prevent. - Coverage To be honest, this product might not satisfy those looking for high coverage. It covers light blemishes completely, but only about 60% of dark pigmentation. However, I prefer a natural skin look and don't focus much on coverage, so it didn't bother me. Hmm... I've tried countless cushions, but I've never found one that causes as few blemishes as this one, so I plan to keep using it. There's nothing I dislike about it! I really urge you to try this with the Ba**to fixer and Daiso puff. It truly maintains its appearance all day long without any touch-ups. I highly recommend this to those with sensitive skin like mine! - 99********Oily SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessEnlarged PoresRednessDead Skin CellsRecommendedNov 30, 2024
As someone with super sensitive skin, this has become my go-to base product. Applying multiple thin layers gives great longevity. Highly recommended! It can be a bit drying, but as I have extremely oily skin, I'm thrilled! However, it's not suitable for those with dry skin.
