Texture: It's a transparent gel-type shampoo. 2. Lather: It foams up easily when rubbed. 3. Cleansing effectiveness: Being mildly acidic, it cleanses gently. I use it on days when I haven't sweated much and don't want to irritate my scalp. 4. Fragrance: The scent is really pleasant. It has a sweet aroma.
ConsI wouldn't recommend this for those with extremely oily scalps.
TipI alternate between shampoos for oily and dry hair, and this product seems closer to the 'dry hair shampoo' category. For those with oily scalps, I'd suggest doing a pre-wash, then following up with a second wash.

It's just right - neither too concentrated nor too watery. There's a subtle honey-butter scent, reminiscent of the Dove body wash with shea butter and vanilla. After washing, it feels like all the oil is removed, leaving my scalp feeling clean. Unlike harsh soaps that leave hair feeling dry and stiff, this shampoo cleanses gently. Once my hair is dry, it feels fresh and clean. I actually prefer it to the volumizing shampoo I was using before - it even adds some volume, making my hair feel fuller!
ConsOne drawback of the Hwahae Testers' reviews is the short testing period of about a week. For an anti-hair loss shampoo, you can't expect dramatic results in just 1-2 weeks. Honestly, after using it for about a week, I didn't notice any significant hair loss prevention effects. The amount of hair falling out while washing remained similar, though I noticed a slight decrease in shedding while drying my hair and going about my day. However, it definitely delivers on its cleansing power, leaving hair feeling fresh and soft. The volume boost is also noticeable - you could even call it a volumizing shampoo. Another minor issue is that one or two pumps aren't enough. My hair length is between a long bob that covers the shoulders and very long straight hair, and since each pump dispenses a small amount, I need 3-4 pumps to get a satisfactory amount.
TipI create a bit of lather in my hands, apply it evenly to my hair, massage thoroughly, and then wait for 3 minutes. Initially, I rinsed it out quickly like regular shampoo, but I found that waiting before rinsing really allows the active ingredients to penetrate better, leaving my scalp feeling cleaner. Most anti-hair loss shampoos recommend leaving the product on for a bit, but on busy mornings, it's tempting to rush and rinse immediately. However, I've noticed that waiting before rinsing seems to improve the effectiveness.

I prefer this level of scent as I believe strongly perfumed shampoos often contain harsh ingredients. -Ingredients Without checking the ingredient list, I found it gentle to use. It's particularly noticeable compared to my previous menthol-scented shampoo for oily scalps. Most mainstream shampoos sold in supermarkets have poor ingredients... While those without sensitive skin might use them because they're cheap or smell nice, those of us with oily scalps need to be careful to avoid seborrheic dermatitis. I've just noticed it contains menthol, but I couldn't detect it at all... Perhaps the concentration is lower than my previous product. The other ingredients seem quite good. It seems most Hwahae users prioritize ingredients, so it's reassuring that this product has a good formulation. -Texture Thin consistency The watery texture lathers extremely well. It's gentle yet effective. I'm satisfied that it doesn't leave my hair feeling squeaky clean, rough, or dry. -Performance The rich lather makes hair washing easy and convenient. Being gentle means its cleansing power is less than shampoos specifically for oily scalps, but that's to be expected! They serve different purposes after all. This product's main function is preventing hair loss, and it's packed with ingredients like caffeine and biotin. With these beneficial ingredients, I believe consistent use will help strengthen hair roots and nourish the scalp. The Hwahae Testers program only allows for a 2-week trial, which is too short to see significant effects. I'll continue using the product and update my review later~
Cons-Room for Improvement The only downside is that the cleansing power might be slightly insufficient for those with oily scalps. -Summary Packaging ✮ ✮ ✮ ✮ ✮ Scent ✮ ✮ ✮ ✮ ✩ Performance ✮ ✮ ✮ ✮ ✩ Practicality ✮ ✮ ✮ ✮ ✮ Ingredients ✮ ✮ ✮ ✮ ✩

Lather: As you can see in the photo, it doesn't produce an excessive amount of foam - just the right amount. Scent: The fragrance is truly delightful! Thanks to the lemon extract, it's refreshing and sweet, with a hint of a nutty barley-like aroma. Size: It comes in a convenient 500ml pump bottle, making it easy to use. Texture: Initially, it has a gel-like consistency. It's clear, not cloudy, with a slightly thick texture. Recommended for: As it's a hair loss prevention shampoo, I'd recommend it for those experiencing hair loss. While the effects aren't dramatic, I've noticed less hair fall than before. It seems to have strengthened my hair a bit. I've only been using it for a week, so it's hard to say for sure, but so far, it's been pretty good!
ConsBlemishes: I was worried about breakouts since I have an oily scalp, but fortunately, I didn't experience any! Not recommended for: If you have sensitive skin or an oily scalp, I'd suggest doing a patch test before using it regularly. There aren't many downsides, but if I had to mention something, it might be that it doesn't leave your hair feeling as refreshed as some other shampoos. Also, while the scent is nice, it can be a bit strong for some people.
TipHere's a tip: After applying the shampoo, wait about 3 minutes before rinsing. It seemed to be more beneficial for my scalp that way! Also, gently massaging your scalp while shampooing can be helpful. Remember, you don't need to use a lot of shampoo on your hair ends - just a light pass is sufficient.

It has a sweet grape-like fragrance that doesn't become overwhelming. Despite my hair being waist-length and quite thick, a dollop slightly larger than a 500 won coin produces plenty of lather. As a swimmer, I've been concerned about my hair becoming damaged and falling out. Since using this shampoo, my hair texture doesn't seem to be deteriorating further. While the anti-hair loss effects may need more time to evaluate, I'm not noticing as much hair fall. So far, I'm satisfied and would recommend it!
ConsThere aren't any downsides I've noticed yet. However, I'll need to use it longer to determine if it truly functions as an effective anti-hair loss shampoo.

Thick hair with lots of volume. It's been a while since I dyed it. I expected the anti-hair loss shampoo to feel rough when washing and rinsing, but it was surprisingly nice! What I loved most was the genuinely sweet fragrance. I usually get headaches from strong or unpleasant scents, so I stick to fragrance-free cosmetics and don't wear perfume. But I absolutely adored the scent of this Abba shampoo. It didn't remind me of beer yeast at all! The best part? I'm losing less hair! It's definitely effective. I have thick hair and always tie it up, so it's easy for me to notice the difference. Whether I'm washing, drying, brushing, or tying my hair, there's noticeably less shedding. I heard beer yeast is great for preventing hair loss, and this Abba shampoo is packed with it! My mom, who has baby-fine hair and an oily scalp, is using this shampoo too. She says she's losing much less hair compared to other shampoos. The bottle is huge, so it'll last ages! I'm thrilled with everything about it!
ConsThe sweet scent is quite strong. I wonder if they offer a cool scent or fragrance-free version?
TipTo maximize the effects of the beer yeast biotin, I use a two-step process: first, I shampoo and rinse immediately. For the second round, I leave the shampoo on for over 3 minutes before rinsing. It's easy to time this while showering. This method helps soften dead skin cells, thoroughly cleanses the pores, and prevents dandruff.

It felt like I'd stepped into a Lu* store! After washing, the fragrance lingers subtly. It's probably a scent you're familiar with..?! Post-wash, it reminds me of that purple perfume from Lan*.. The texture is slightly runny and fluid. I didn't expect it to lather much, but surprisingly, it produced a rich foam which I loved. While I don't have severe hair loss to judge its effectiveness in that area, I noticed less shedding when drying my hair after using this shampoo..?! I'll need to keep using it to be sure, but usually, I lose quite a bit of hair when drying. Those baby hairs sprouting like weeds can be quite stressful; I hope this shampoo helps reduce the shedding^^ It's free from 5 chemical additives! I'm prone to scalp blemishes and sometimes even face breakouts when using shampoos with harsh ingredients, so I appreciate that it doesn't contain these 5 chemical additives. It says biotin helps soften the hair. Maybe that's why, even when I used this shampoo alone without any conditioner, my hair felt surprisingly smooth and manageable. Usually, washing with just shampoo leaves that squeaky clean feeling that's too harsh, making it unthinkable to skip conditioner... But with this, I think it might be okay to use it alone. Perfect for busy mornings!
ConsFor someone like me with thick, long hair.. the price is a bit steep compared to the volume... That's really the only downside I can think of.
