I love how precise and detailed the application is, thanks to its pencil form. It's great for fine, intricate work. It might be challenging to cover larger areas. This is best suited for concealing small, detailed spots. - ch*********Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsRecommendedMay 24, 2025
If you're considering a pencil concealer, this is the one to go for. It works great for both large and small areas - just lay it flat for wider coverage or use the tip for precise application. It's so versatile! Sharpening the pencil can be a bit of a hassle, I'll admit. But trust me, it's worth the extra effort because the product is that good. For best results, dab it onto areas you want to cover, then gently blend it in with your fingertips. The warmth of your skin will help it melt seamlessly into your complexion. Pro tip: I recommend going one shade lighter than your natural skin tone for a brightening effect. - si***********Dry SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRednessDead Skin CellsRecommendedMay 17, 2025
My skin has some acne scars on the right side, so I've tried using concealer several times, but it was strange... So I tried using a pencil, and it really! wiped it off cleanly!! -Spreadability Since it's a pencil, it seems a bit matte? Other products I've bought online didn't match my skin tone or were too in-between, and had poor spreadability. I've tried about 3 pencil concealers, and this one has the smoothest spreadability and the color matches me well! ((I use shade 21-20 and mix in a bit of 19 for the affected areas!)) It should work well even if your skin is a bit darker than mine, but if you're lighter, it might be a bit tricky. If it doesn't spread well, just swipe it a few times on the back of your hand and apply it on the blemish, and it should spread nicely. The shading in the photo is not wiped off!! I just applied it right on top. Before blending, it looks a bit clumped, but this is still very good! -Longevity The longevity should be great if you set it with powder!! I took a 3-hour nap and it was still there when I woke up!! -Coverage + Adherence The coverage is pretty good, and the adherence, while not as strong as the coverage, is still quite decent! As you can see in the photo, it wiped off very cleanly🙌🥺 Protruding acne is difficult to cover up with a pencil!!😭 If you're concerned about acne scars? Of course I recommend it, but! If it's not acne scars but rather protruding inflammatory acne, it doesn't seem like it would cover well ㅛ! Acne scars > Inflammatory acne Please don't apply it too broadly with a puff, because then the longevity ⬇️ and the coverage ⬇️ will be reduced!?! Try to minimize the use of puffs.. it seems important to just blend around the edges😍 If it's not just a scar, I don't recommend it! If you're concerned about scars, I highly recommend it‼️ Usually, many people use concealer and cushion for their base makeup. But this is a pencil, so! After doing your cushion base and before powder, use the pencil to cover blemishes and acne spots - it will cover them very well🙌🙌 (( Powder application helps with coverage and longevity, so be sure to use powder! If you say the product's coverage is not good without powder, the product will feel wronged..hahaha )) It was said that using a puff reduces longevity and coverage⬇️, so if you use a puff, just blend it around the blemished and acne areas, not the whole face, for a more natural look!! Another method is to just dab it on with your fingers and then apply powder!! That works too! - bi********Dry SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedMay 11, 2025
I'm on my nth bottle of this, and it's truly a miracle product! You can use it to brighten your aegyo sal (under-eye puffiness), and it's perfect for quickly covering blemishes, dark circles, and even spots. It's so convenient to carry around and I absolutely love it!!! I can't live without this! The only downside is that it's so small, it's easy to misplace... But still, it's incredibly good! - wj******Dehydrated SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessRednessApr 16, 2025
It's affordable and worth trying. The product absorbs well on the skin. It can be irritating when applied to the under-eye area. It doesn't blend well with the skin and looks a bit dark. - ji*********Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinDark CirclesRecommendedMar 2, 2025
Great coverage and applies smoothly. Matches well with skin tone that typically uses shade 21 in cushion foundations. Doesn't cause new blemishes to appear. Poor staying power. If used too frequently on areas with blemishes, it can worsen the condition. Works well for brightening the under-eye area. - sj*******Combination SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresFeb 17, 2025
Great for carrying around. Convenient for touch-ups on the go. The shade seems perfect for those with a light skin tone. It has good absorption and spreads well, but you need to blend it carefully for the best results. While it covers small blemishes like tiny spots to some extent, it doesn't effectively conceal larger areas like acne. - na*********Oily SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedFeb 9, 2025
- I decided to buy this after watching a makeup artist's video where they used it to neatly define the eyebrow area. After trying it myself, I'm satisfied! While it's not perfect, it tidies up the eyebrow area much better than I expected, giving a cleaner overall look. - The regular price is already quite affordable, which makes purchasing it stress-free. You can even get it at a further discount during Olive Young sales. - I originally wanted to buy shade 1.5, but it was sold out, so I went with shade 1. It's not too light when applied over makeup, which is great! Being a pencil type, it's easy to use without any special technique - just glide it on. It blends well too. You can gently pat it with a cushion puff or lightly blend while tapping for easy blending. Unlike pot concealers or liquids where you need to control the amount and blend quickly to avoid marks, this pencil type is much easier to handle. - I mainly use it to tidy up around my eyebrows, but when I try to cover blemishes or moles, shade 1 is a bit light. It doesn't conceal perfectly, though it's better than nothing. For covering purposes, a pot concealer or a slightly darker shade might work better. - ys******Dehydrated SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessEnlarged PoresRecommendedDec 23, 2024
This concealer covers blemishes really well and I've been using it for years now, haha! I've been using it for several years and honestly, I can't think of any downsides. - af******Dehydrated SkinAcne SkinSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRednessRecommendedDec 21, 2024
I bought this product because it's really famous and used by many people, including celebrities! As a makeup beginner, I found it challenging to draw naturally and conceal with this pencil. At the moment, I'm not sure about its good points. However, the color itself is fantastic! It's a great product that can be used regardless of gender! It's difficult to apply naturally. I intended to use it to cover dark circles, but it doesn't conceal well. I think it might be because I'm not very skilled at applying makeup.
