I was pleased that no purple color came off on my hands while shampooing. It effectively neutralized yellow tones, and it was more affordable compared to other color-correcting shampoos! There's not really anything to complain about, but the large volume might make it challenging to use up completely! - Hwahae UserDry SkinRecommendedApr 8, 2020
This is my first time using a purple shampoo, so it's hard to gauge how good it really is! I dyed my hair ash gray-brown to get rid of the reddish tint from my previous red-brown color. I chose this color-protect shampoo over others because it was more affordable. As advised, I used gloves while shampooing to prevent purple stains on my hands. The scent reminds me of hair dye - quite strong! I was pleased that it didn't strip my existing color. The instructions say to leave it on for 3 minutes, but I found it works well to apply it generously to the dyed areas and rinse carefully. Whatever you do, don't use this with bare hands! Not only is the smell intense, but your hands might turn purple! With a pair of nitrile gloves, you should be able to maintain your desired hair color for a long time! - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedDec 13, 2019
It does an excellent job of removing the yellow tones after bleaching. The concentration seems to be on the higher side. Just looking at the color, it gives an unpleasant feeling like it will dye the hair. After rinsing, it doesn't feel sticky or stiff, which is good. Absolutely do not use it in saunas or swimming pools. Lather it up and leave it on for 2-3 minutes before rinsing... If you have extremely sensitive skin like me, it will peel off the skin on your face and neck. I'm currently seeing a dermatologist and taking medication.
