And as the name suggests, it is a pH 5.5 mildly acidic soap. I was hesitant about mildly acidic cleansers as I don't get along well with foaming cleansers, but this one seems to work well for me. Perhaps it's because it contains panthenol and soothing ingredients?(speculation) 🫧 Cleansing Power: The foam lathers up really well! Even just rubbing it with your hands creates a rich, abundant foam. And despite being mildly acidic, the cleansing power is not bad! Eyeliner and brow makeup come off cleanly, and stained tints are only slightly left behind. 🫧 Usage: It doesn't have the typical squeaky-clean finish of mildly acidic foams. But since the foam is so abundant, it doesn't feel slippery either - just about right! 🫧 Fragrance: The fragrance isn't strongly noticeable, which is why I sniffed it to write this review. It has a slight dishwashing liquid-like scent...? It might be divisive, but I like that the fragrance is subtle and it seems they didn't use much fragrance.
ConsAs shown in the photo, stained tints don't get completely removed. For heavy makeup, it may not remove everything.

It produces a generous amount of lather that feels great to apply. 💫Hydration As mentioned earlier, the dense texture helps retain moisture, leaving a hydrated, comfortable feel on the skin. 💫Ingredients The green-grade ingredients provide peace of mind that it can be used safely. 💫Cleansing It leaves my skin feeling refreshed and clean in the morning.
Cons💫Sensitivity After using it, I felt a slight stinging sensation, and sure enough, my face became flushed and blotchy. I'm not sure if it's because my skin is sensitive, but I was surprised given how good the ingredients seem to be. 💫Cleansing It can remove lotions and toners, but it's not effective at removing makeup!
TipIt's best to use a cleansing pad to prep the skin before washing your face.

Just add a little lukewarm water and a small amount of the cleanser, and you'll get a rich, creamy lather 💗☺️ 🌼Ingredients As someone with sensitive, acne-prone skin, I used to have issues with my skin getting irritated no matter what cleanser I used. But this product is so gentle, and my skin actually feels better after using it :) 🌼Refreshing Finish I'm not a big fan of the slippery, moisturizing feel that's typical of mild acid cleansers, but this one has a refreshing, clean finish that I really love 💗🫶🏻
Cons🌼Cleansing Power When used alone on a full face of makeup, the cleansing power is a bit lacking 😔 I suppose that's the trade-off for the gentle ingredients. For those times, it's best to use this as a second cleanse after a cleansing water or eye and lip makeup remover. But it works great as a morning cleanser or second cleanse! ☺️

This is the first time I've used a mildly acidic cleansing foam, and I can definitely feel that it's less irritating than the regular cleansing foams I've used before. And I think there are quite a few people who don't like the scent, but I liked it! The subtle soap-like fragrance makes me feel good after cleansing.
ConsMost cleansing foams actually don't remove mascara very well, but even with this gentle one (?), I didn't feel like my makeup was completely removed with just the first cleansing. However, I think it would work well if used together with a cleansing oil.
TipYou can get a richer lather if you use a cleansing brush!

Ingredients The most important criterion for me in choosing cosmetics is the ingredients, and this product has such mild ingredients that I was able to use it without worrying about breakouts! 2. Moisturizing The ingredient list shows that there are 3 ingredients good for dry skin, and after cleansing, there was no tightness or dryness, just a nice moisturized feeling.
Cons1. Cleansing Power For heavy makeup like dark color cosmetics or mascara, it was disappointing that they didn't remove completely. However, it does a good job of removing basic sunscreen and light makeup, so it can be used well for simple makeup or morning cleansing. 2. Slight Stinging...? After using this product, there was an odd stinging sensation. At first I thought it might be because I used a silicone brush, but I didn't feel that with other cleansers. For some reason, this product alone caused a stinging feeling. Based on reviews, it seems other users also experienced stinging, so there must be some ingredient causing it, but I'm not sure what the exact cause is.
TipThis would be good for a second cleanse or simple morning cleansing

(Personal opinion) First, as it is a mildly acidic product, it seems that students these days can use it gently. (It's gentle enough for use by pregnant women and those with sensitive skin.) The mild ingredients of the product were just what I needed, as my skin has been very sensitive lately. And most importantly, it wasn't too drying after cleansing, and it left my skin feeling moisturized, which I was really satisfied with.💦 Also, there was no tightness in my skin after cleansing, which was great. I plan to purchase and use this product again once I finish the one I'm currently using. I like it that much.💕
ConsThe downside is that it doesn't feel like my makeup is completely removed and cleansed. It would be better to use another product to remove your makeup first, and then use this product for the second cleansing. (That's how I used it as well.) You should definitely double cleanse if you wear makeup! And since it's a mildly acidic product, the scent is a bit... not something I particularly enjoy. If you're someone who prioritizes scent, I can't recommend this.❌️
TipIt's so gentle that it doesn't completely remove makeup, so it's best to use another product to remove your makeup first, and then use this as a second cleansing step!

The fact that the ingredients are good for the skin and also help with exfoliation is a very positive aspect of this product! It seems to gently cleanse the skin and keep it moisturized as a mild acidic cleansing foam. Many cleansers use alkaline ingredients that can be harsh, but this one doesn't seem to irritate. And the brand Innisfree is one I really like - this Calming Cleanser is even safe for 'pregnant women and babies'! You know delicate products are a must for pregnant women.
Cons♥ Downside: For light makeup, this Calming Cleanser can cleanse well, but it may not remove very heavy makeup. It could be used as a second cleanse in that case. (In my case, I don't wear heavy makeup, so this was sufficient, but for those who do, using a cleansing oil or milk first and then this cleanser would be better.)
Tip♥ Pro Tip: If you want a more thorough cleanse, you can do a first cleanse with a cleansing oil or milk, and then use this Calming Cleanser. Also, while it already foams well, I found using a cleansing brush to create more lather and gently massage it in works great. And due to the mild acidity, my face felt nicely moisturized even after just towel drying, so I just followed up with toner and moisturizer.

Since mild acidic products often have an unpleasant slippery texture, it's great that this one resolved that issue. I'm really pleased with it!! The texture is just the right amount of thickness, and it also produces good lather. It seems very gentle - there was no irritation at all, and I think it can be used morning or night without any problems~
ConsIn terms of cleansing power, it may be difficult to expect much when it comes to removing heavy makeup like mascara and foundation. Double cleansing is a must :>

These days, I'm minimizing my cosmetics and carefully checking the ingredients, applying only the essentials. I was very pleased to see that all the ingredients are rated green. This is the season when children also use sunscreen, so it's great that this can be used for cleansing as well. *Mildly acidic but refreshing! It's not a squeaky clean feeling, as it's mildly acidic. After cleansing, the skin feels smooth, soft, and moisturized. Despite being an acidic cleanser, it leaves a refreshing and hydrated sensation. Even for skin with uneven texture, it momentarily makes the skin feel great after cleansing.
Cons* As a cleanser, it doesn't seem to remove mascara very well.
TipI've been having some skin troubles around my nose, cheeks, and mouth area due to mask-wearing. Even after going out and applying sunscreen, cleansing with a cotton pad cleanser and using an aloe soothing gel helps calm down the breakouts quite a bit after work.

The texture felt a bit like whipped cream when I first squeezed it, and it lathered up nicely. It has a slight baby powder-like scent, but it's almost fragrance-free. While I generally prefer mildly acidic cleansers for their benefits to the skin, this cleansing balm had a slight lack of cleansing power and felt a bit slippery when rinsing, but the rinsing was much smoother compared to other mildly acidic cleansers. Even so, as an extremely dry-skinned person, I didn't feel overly dry right after cleansing.
ConsThere's not much to complain about, but like most mildly acidic cleansers, the cleansing power is a bit lacking. Since I don't wear much makeup, it's not a big issue for me, but for those who wear makeup or sunscreen, a double cleanse might be necessary. The strong cleansing power usually comes from the inclusion of harsh surfactants, so I'm satisfied with the cleansing balm's performance.
TipIt's an excellent morning cleanser, and I think it works best when you work up a good lather with it.
