It's the first time I've nearly emptied a whole bottle. I initially bought it for my beauty device (galvanic), but the product is so good that I think I'll make it a staple in my routine. 1. Gentle on skin ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ This is what I'm most satisfied with! I've tried quite a few from Aromatica, Etude, Nature Republic, etc., but always ended up tossing them before finishing. Usually, I'd get small bumps or my skin would react badly due to oil-moisture imbalance, or it would feel like there was a film on top while being dry underneath. I've experienced this so many times that I didn't have high expectations and planned to use it as a massage gel for my device and wipe it off. But surprisingly, it was great even when left on! I haven't had any blemishes so far! 2. Soothing (reduces skin temperature) + Skin texture ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I already knew it helps with heat and redness, but it also calms blemishes more than expected. It's not like tea tree that directly reduces inflammation, but it seems to prevent potential breakouts by cooling the skin. When I travel and the water changes, my skin usually reacts badly, but this helps a lot! Also, after using it, my skin feels super soft and less itchy. 3. Hydration ⭐️⭐️⭐️ It's the only aloe gel that didn't leave my skin feeling dry deep down. However, if you apply a lot, it leaves a slightly oily feeling on the skin. But it doesn't bother me, so I'm using it well! I think it worked well for me because my skin responds well to propolis and polysaccharides, but I've noticed some people might be allergic to these ingredients. It might be a good idea to try the Sidmool Polysaccharide mask pack first, and if that's okay, then give this a try.
ConsI didn't really have any complaints! Just that it can pill a bit if applied before makeup, so you need to apply it moderately. It's fragrance-free, so you can smell the product's natural scent, which is hard to describe. It's kind of like an ointment smell? It never really bothered me though. I think I'll purchase it again next time.
TipSince it's a gel type, if you apply too much, the polymers can clump together and feel like dead skin cells. When applying, dot it on different areas of your face, and by the time you get back to the first area, the gel will have slightly liquefied. Spread it well and then gently press or pat it into your skin for better absorption! I used it with my NuFace device and it worked pretty well!

Nice~ I bought this to hydrate my combination dehydrated skin, and it's pleasantly rich and absorbs well!
ConsHowever, the scent is a bit... It smells like paint. For combination dehydrated skin, using this alone causes deep dryness!

He says it's definitely reduced the redness he used to get after work.
ConsHe mentioned there's a plastic-like scent? Apparently, the smell wasn't very pleasant.
TipNone

Unlike typical drugstore aloe gels, this one offers excellent hydration. If you have oily skin, this alone might be sufficient for summer use. I was curious about its popularity and great ingredients, and after using it as a base for frequent mask sessions in the evenings, I noticed it really soothed my skin that had become sensitive from the harsh sunlight. It works hard to calm the complexion!
ConsThe scent... Well, many other reviews mentioned the fragrance wasn't great, and they weren't kidding. It smells like hospital disinfectant. I imagine it would be even more unpleasant if you're dealing with a hangover!

ConsThere's a slight hospital-like scent, reminiscent of antiseptic, and it can leave the skin feeling tight

It's not a sticky gel, but rather a smooth, water-like gel texture. This makes it absorb really well. I love that there's no sticky feeling after application.
ConsThose with dry skin might find it a bit drying. There's a slight alcohol scent, which isn't my favorite fragrance.

It leaves your skin feeling silky and improved. When stored in the refrigerator and applied, it seems to lower skin temperature, providing a calming effect. This could be great for those who often experience facial flushing and redness. It firms up the skin without being sticky - just perfect! Absorption: At first, the slightly slippery texture made me wonder if it would absorb quickly, but after gently patting it in a few times, it moisturizes and sinks into the skin beautifully. Hydration: As someone with combination dehydrated skin, I often felt a lack of moisture deep in my skin when using creams, with only surface oiliness and visible blemishes. I regret stubbornly using only creams in the past. Why didn't I think of using a gel? Well, partly because I was too lazy to try something new with what I had at home. Recommended Skin Types: Suitable for all skin types. If you have dry skin, you can use it in combination with a cream.
ConsScent: Personally, I'm not a fan of the fragrance. I know aloe vera doesn't naturally smell great, but this has a similar scent. It's somewhat reminiscent of a hospital or disinfectant smell. While the scent isn't to my liking, the ingredients are good, so it's okay! Price: The product is perfect for my needs - ideal for combination dehydrated skin. It's also great for my acne-prone skin as it doesn't cause any reactions. However, I don't think it's particularly good value for money, especially for students. For comparison: The Aromatica Aloe Gel is 300ml at a regular price of 9,800 won, and can be found online for around 6,000 won when on sale. This product is 100ml at a regular price of 16,500 won, with sale prices around 14,000-15,000 won. The prices are similar whether regular or on sale. So it feels like you can't use it as generously. Update on Aromatica Aloe Gel: I bought it, but surprisingly it makes my face feel very tight and sticky. Also, I found out that Aromatica's soothing gel is made from aloe-infused water? It seems it doesn't contain a high concentration of aloe vera. There's a way to buy Benton products at a lower price. Check out the tips section for details!
TipBest ways to buy at the lowest price!!! (Tmon, Wemakeprize, Duty-free shops, Official website event chances) 1) If you're a first-time buyer on Tmon, you can get a 5,000 won coupon (via app) and 1,000 won in rewards for your first day's attendance. With these, you can buy it for just 10,500 won! 2) You can also get it for 12,900 won on Wemakeprize! 3) If you're traveling, you might be able to snag it for just over 10,000 won at duty-free shops! 4) Occasionally, the Benton website offers percentage discounts on selected products. You can look out for these, or for special events like Family Month flash sales. There are rare 50% discounts (though these are uncommon these days), or events like 30% off per product when you buy 4 sets during the Family Month gift event! It's beneficial to sign up on the homepage if you want to buy Benton products. If you write good reviews, you might be selected as a best reviewer and receive over 20,000 points. Usually, photo reviews earn 1,000 points, and even a 5-line review gets you 500 points! Free sample application on Benton website (no shipping fee): You can choose 5 Benton products, 3 of each in small gift packs, for a total of 15! Test these before purchasing to make sure they suit you! Remember to select bank transfer when checking out. Tip for combination dehydrated skin like mine: In dry weather, using oily creams can lead to excess sebum production too quickly. Instead, try using a toner to refine skin texture, then apply this soothing gel, and finish with a light essence. If you feel too dry, apply a small amount of oil-free cream only to those areas. This worked well for my skin. +) Using this with Benton's BHA toner was perfect for me!

ConsDespite the gentle ingredients, it caused itching. Strangely, after applying this for a while, my skin became itchy all over. I ended up using it on my hair and then throwing it away... Also, it has a plastic scent, which makes the container seem low-quality.. While the contents are important, so is the packaging... And it's not exactly cheap either.
TipAlthough the ingredients are quite gentle, it causes itching.. I couldn't use it on my face and ended up applying it to my hair before just tossing it... Not sure what the allergenic component might be...
