  I discovered this soothing gel as a more affordable alternative to the expensive aloe gel product I used during herbal treatments for my blemishes. Not only does it contain aloe gel, but it also includes propolis, known for its benefits in treating skin issues, so I bought it without hesitation. It's similar to other aloe gels on the market, with a cooling effect that feels calming on the skin. It absorbs well without any stickiness. Since it's an aloe gel, there can be some dryness after it's absorbed, but applying a moisturizer right after takes care of that. For my winter skincare routine, I use an exfoliating toner, followed by this Benton aloe gel, and finish with a moisturizing cream, which keeps my skin from feeling dry.

  Cons

  The downside is the price and quantity. I wish they offered a larger size option. There aren't many sales, so it's hard to justify buying it when it's not discounted.

  Tip

  For soothing blemishes and minimizing pores, I've found that spraying some mist on a cotton pad, then applying a generous amount of aloe gel, especially on troubled or dry areas, gives a cooling effect that seems to visibly reduce pores. I imagine it would be perfect as a face pack with cotton pads during hot summer days.

  The first thing I look at is the ingredients! Nice~ I bought this to hydrate my combination dehydrated skin, and it's pleasantly rich and absorbs well!

  Cons

  However, the scent is a bit... It smells like paint. For combination dehydrated skin, using this alone causes deep dryness!
