Pros
It was great to immediately lower the heat on my skin when it flared up. While aloe vera gel is the most well-known, I found that the cica formula worked better for me.
Cons

Aloe vera gel is the foundation for everything. When my arms and legs become extra sensitive in the summer sun, I just slather it on to soothe the heat. And if I find oil-based products too heavy, mixing this in makes them much lighter and easier to apply all over. My friend got a really bad sunburn where her skin was peeling, so I just globbed this gel on her arms and covered it with a wet wipe to make a cooling pack. (For her face, I soaked cotton pads in it and laid them right on.) It really helped. For sun-sensitized skin, this is the number one go-to treatment. Before doing my nails, I'll squeeze out a generous amount of the gel and rub it into my hands until they're thoroughly saturated. Then I apply cuticle oil, and my cuticles just soak it right up.
Cons
The moisturizing power is really quite minimal, so you shouldn't rely on it as a body cream replacement. If you're using it as more than just a mix-in with other products, I wouldn't recommend it as a body cream. Depending on the other skincare ingredients, it can sometimes pill or ball up when layered under other products - I've noticed this especially with hyaluronic acid formulas. I wouldn't suggest using it straight on the face either, but you can do a light rinse after using it as a mask and then apply your regular skincare on top.

I only used aloe gel before, but I saw the cica gel for the first time and bought it. It's good to apply on the body! The pump type is convenient!

I use the cica gel primarily for its soothing properties. The packaging is suitable for preventing contamination, and the large size allows me to use them for a long time.
