It worked great as an exfoliating toner, helping to remove dead skin cells. I enjoyed using it on a pad before bed. This product not only smoothed out my skin texture and gave me a beautiful glow, but it also had a calming effect. I usually don't use toners much, preferring pads instead, but this one was so good that I kept reaching for it. It's become my go-to when my skin feels dehydrated, and I use it a lot before applying makeup. When I use this product before makeup, my foundation applies more evenly without any patchiness or heaviness. I highly recommend it, truly!! I'm currently on my third bottle. It's especially great for those with dry skin, but I think it would work well as an exfoliating toner for oily skin types too. Honestly, this seems like a product that would suit any skin type.
ConsThe only downside is that it disappears quickly with daily use. Don't leave me, my precious toner... It's so good that I can't stop using it!
TipFor a more beautiful skin finish, try using this toner on a pad as an exfoliating step before applying makeup!

Feels like the particles are filling in and firming up the skin from within. Despite not being very old, I sometimes have dry, dull skin lacking vitality. This product enhances radiance and smooths the skin's surface. Unlike regular water-based toners, it contains oil, addressing surface dryness too. Even in warm weather, layering it multiple times like an essence didn't leave my skin feeling excessively dry.
ConsThe container is very inconvenient. Due to the product's nature, it needs shaking before each use, but the container design reduces efficiency and wastes product. The ingredients aren't great. While it improved elasticity and radiance, my overall skin condition deteriorated. I noticed an increase in small bumps and uneven texture. It contains many potentially irritating ingredients for sensitive skin. Sometimes it causes a burning sensation. Personally, I didn't like d'Alba's signature scent (fragrance warning for delicate skin).
TipUnlike regular water-based toners, it doesn't feel refreshing or have a cooling effect. It's effective when you want to improve skin density and add a glow. If they improve the container and make the ingredients gentler, it could become a go-to item for everyone. It's not bad if used functionally for its intended purpose. Remember to shake it well before use to mix the oil properly.

After application, it gives a subtle glow. For dry skin types, water-based toners alone often feel insufficient for hydration, but this one, with its oil content, feels moisturizing even when used on its own. Of course, being dry-skinned, I still feel the need for subsequent steps to maintain hydration. It's my first time trying an oil-infused toner, and it definitely feels like it delivers a good balance of oil and moisture to the skin right from the first step, more so than regular toners.
ConsAt first, I thought the scent was reminiscent of high-end 'mom' cosmetics, but I found it too strong and off-putting. With continued use, I've gotten used to the fragrance and it's okay now. The cap design is very inconvenient - when opening, the product tends to spill and smear all over the cap and bottle. Due to the oil content, the whole toner bottle has become slippery a few times. Also, as I prefer to layer the toner multiple times rather than applying it just once, it's annoying to have to close the cap, shake the bottle, and reopen it each time as the oil layer separates quickly. The bottle gets slippery in the process. Oh, and when you shake it before use, a drop or two always seems to fly out!
TipI like to soak cotton pads generously with the toner and place them on my cheeks and forehead as a toner mask. After this, even when I apply the next steps in my routine, my skin has this beautiful glow. It's not an oily shine, but more of a healthy, radiant glow that makes your skin look really good!

Skin type: Dry and sensitive Experience: As someone with dry skin, I always look for moisturizing toners with good hydration. This d'Alba toner has oil on top and toner underneath, making it a mix-and-use type that feels wonderfully hydrating! Ingredients: The ingredients are good overall, except for the added fragrance. However, the scent isn't overpowering, which is nice, and it doesn't cause any blemishes. Application: I mainly use the d'Alba mist for a dewy makeup look! I spray the mist before makeup and also on my makeup sponge. However, with this toner, I apply it before the mist step when doing dewy makeup. It makes my skin even more hydrated and smooth, allowing for a better makeup application. Personally, I found that using it together with the d'Alba mist creates a great synergistic effect!
ConsRoom for improvement: The main drawback, as mentioned in many other reviews, is the packaging! It seems the package was designed to dispense the oil easily, but it can be a bit messy and inconvenient in that aspect.
TipTo ensure the oil and toner mix well, make sure to shake the bottle thoroughly before use!

This one, despite being a toner, contains oil which seems to prevent my skin from drying out quickly. Regular toners often leave my face feeling parched and tight, but this one is different. The oil blend gives a subtle glow to my face while providing excellent hydration. It's like a refreshing burst of moisture followed by a thin, protective layer of oil. For dry skin types, it offers both skin protection and a dewy look, effectively balancing both hydration and oil. What's more, the oil isn't heavy or greasy - it's light and fresh, making it perfect even for summer use. The fragrance is very subtle, which I appreciate as I'm not fond of strong scents. It's hard to pinpoint exactly, but it has a natural, non-artificial aroma that's quite pleasant. I've never experienced any blemishes while using this product, and its gentle ingredients absorb well, leaving my skin feeling moisturized. Overall, I'm very satisfied with this product.
ConsThe toner has a very watery consistency, so if you're not careful with the angle, it can easily spill out. Also, having to shake it before each use might be a bit inconvenient, but I suppose it's necessary to ensure the ingredients are well-mixed.
TipWith the current dry weather, I've found it works great as a mask! I soak some cotton pads and place them on my cheeks for a quick hydrating treatment.

It's like a sunfish skin! If I use a product that doesn't suit my skin, I immediately get itching and blemishes. Please keep my skin type in mind when reading this review. Texture: I thought it would be oily and heavy, but it's actually a water-based formula, not a runny one. As soon as you apply it, your skin enters a radiant state. It gives a subtle glow? Also, it's not sticky at all? Even though it clearly contains oil, my hair doesn't stick to my face, and I don't feel like all sorts of dust is clinging to my skin... none of that! It's not exactly refreshing, but it is moisturizing. Scent: It has a floral scent, but it's not overpowering, so it doesn't feel artificial. For someone like me who usually dislikes floral scents, it's... well, tolerable enough to use. The fragrance isn't overwhelming, more like a subtle hint? Hydration: I only applied the toner and thought, 'Huh? It's moisturizing?' - I was surprised. I have extremely dry skin, so my skin is very dehydrated but oily on the surface. But for those who don't have dry skin, this toner might be moisturizing enough to use on its own. In my case, usually after cleansing... and even after using an exfoliating toner, my skin feels parched. But with this, rather than feeling dry, it feels like it's providing deep hydration. However, after some time, I did feel it was slightly lacking. For those with dry skin, using this alone might be a bit disappointing. Irritation: It doesn't sting after application. But whether it's the oil or some ingredient that doesn't agree with me, I'm not sure, but it made me itchy... And I got some small pimples... If you have extremely sensitive 'sunfish' skin like me, you should definitely check the ingredients before using. It was moisturizing, had a nice texture, and a subtle pleasant scent, but then this setback... That's why I took off one star. On the first day, I tried using it as an exfoliating toner, but I found that it absorbs better when applied as a regular toner rather than an exfoliating one.
ConsScent: The floral scent isn't overwhelming, but it's still a floral scent, which is disappointing (added fragrance). Packaging: Wow... how can it be this inconvenient? The person who designed this container must have made a mistake... The oil layer separates, so you need to shake it about 5 times before use, and then... open the lid carefully! The contents splash out... what a surprise! It feels like it leaks a little when shaking... On top of that... the product also gets on the lid.. you have to keep wiping it off. While you're distracted by the splashing, the oil and toner separate again as if they were never mixed. It's maddening...
TipIt might not be much of a tip, but after using your regular exfoliating toner, try applying this product by patting it in with your hands. You'll feel more hydration and softness compared to when you used it as an exfoliating toner.

It really helped balance the oil and moisture in my skin, which I found quite satisfying. - Being a vegan product, the ingredients seem gentle on the skin! - The scent isn't overpowering - it's a subtle blend of musk and citrus that didn't put me off at all. I actually quite enjoyed the fragrance. - I expected the texture to be oily, but it flowed easily like water, probably because it's a toner. When applied, it gave my skin a nice glow and absorbed surprisingly quickly! As someone who dislikes products that don't absorb well or feel sticky, I was extremely pleased with this aspect. - The packaging is beautiful, and the product design is so pretty that I was a bit shocked when I received the delivery! It made me think, 'Can cosmetics really be this beautiful?'
Cons- The container is extremely inconvenient. While the design is undeniably pretty, opening the lid to apply the product causes it to splash, and after dispensing some onto your hand, residue remains on the lid, which is annoying. I think a dropper or a twist-open cap would have been much better than the current lid design. - It also seems quite pricey. 29,000 won for 155ml feels a bit steep. Sure, it probably contains good ingredients, but the presence of fragrance also increases the risk of irritation.
