Except for the high price, I absolutely love everything about it. That's why I stock up during sales. It has clean ingredients, a lovely scent, and excellent cleansing effectiveness. Unlike other super-cleansing soaps, it's not irritating. It's easy to use even without a foam net, and I'm impressed that it lathers well right up until it's almost completely used up.
ConsSince my nose area and cheeks are extremely dry, it can feel a bit tingly if I leave it on too long there... As effective as the cleansing is, it's not completely free from irritation. However, if you rinse it off quickly, it seems to be fine.
TipWhile it lathers well enough without a foam net, using one will give you an even denser, richer lather.

While I wouldn't personally buy this product again, skincare can be very individual! I'll share some positives I found: 1. Rich lather The foam is incredibly dense and creamy - a first for me! No need for a foam net. 2. Pleasant fragrance The scent is lovely! 3. Attractive packaging The unique and pretty packaging is a plus. Would make a nice gift too!
Cons1. It stings... I have very sensitive skin, and with the changing seasons, I'm experiencing more small pimples and overall irritation (lots of small bumps and whiteheads on my nose, cheekbones, and chin, but no large cystic acne). This product really stings, and even when it accidentally got in my eyes, it was painful. Some might say, 'Of course soap stings in your eyes,' but I've used gentler cleansing foams before that didn't sting at all. Compared to those, this one is quite harsh. It's not as mild as it claims to be. 2. Solid cleansing 'pack'??? I'm puzzled by the 'pack' in the name... It doesn't live up to what consumers typically expect from a 'pack'. While I don't have high expectations for a cleanser, this naming is a bit confusing. 3. I'm only using this because it was free. I would never spend my own money on it.
TipAs I received this as part of The Hwahae Testers program on short notice, I didn't have a proper soap dish ready. Make sure to get a long, large soap dish! A standard-sized one won't be able to handle this soap's size and shape.

Pros: - Effective cleansing power, enough to remove light sunscreen - Simplifies the masking routine - Pleasant scent (though it may not be for everyone) The main advantage is how it streamlines the skincare routine. Since I received this as a review product, I wanted to thoroughly test its effectiveness. I cut it in half, using one part for facial cleansing and the other for body care. True to its 'solid pack' name, it left both my face and body feeling soft and smooth after washing.
ConsCons: - Can be drying - May cause irritation These seem to be the most significant drawbacks. On the first day, I felt both softness and tightness, but from the second day onwards, it was noticeably drying. Also, on days when I massaged my face a bit more vigorously, I experienced a stinging sensation during my skincare routine. For those with sensitive skin like mine, it's crucial to be gentle when massaging the product onto the skin.
TipAfter lathering the soap in your hands and applying it to your face, you'll have some leftover on your hands. I used this to wash my heels! I tried this after hearing about its effectiveness from a YouTuber, and after using it for about a week, my skin truly became soft and smooth. I recommend this for anyone who's concerned about dead skin cells but finds regular exfoliation tedious. Give it a try!

It's larger than I expected, making it perfect for a facial massage. Surprisingly, it releases a rich, sap-like liquid that feels amazing on the skin. I gently rolled it from my face down to my neck, then massaged with my hands to create a lather before rinsing thoroughly. After cleansing, my skin didn't feel overly tight. The scent has a subtle herbal note that lingers pleasantly in the bathroom. I have combination dehydrated skin that's super sensitive, but I didn't experience any blemishes after use. It seems suitable for both dry and oily skin types.
ConsWhen I left it on my face for a bit too long, I felt a slight tingling and burning sensation. I'm not sure why, but it felt a bit irritating, so I was hesitant to leave it on for extended periods. If you have sensitive skin, I recommend a quick massage followed by rinsing.
TipIt's great for a light daily mask routine. For those with very sensitive facial skin, it could be used without worry on other parts of the body.

I'm changing my rating from 2 stars to 4 stars. Initially, my face developed visible dead skin cells, redness, blemishes, and a tingling sensation, so I stopped using it. I calmed my skin for a few days with my usual cleanser, skincare, and organic balm before trying again. My skin usually doesn't agree with bar soaps, so I was surprised by the initial reaction. But after that first purge and shedding of dead skin cells, using it again caused no irritation or flaking. It seems my skin has finally adapted to this soap. With continued use, I've noticed that it leaves my skin feeling squeaky clean after washing and has brightened my complexion. ----------------------------------------------------------- (The Hwahae Testers Review) I have combination dehydrated skin with large pores, uneven texture, and redness. I'm a warm tone. This is my completely honest review. I don't usually use bar soap for cleansing. I've never had a good experience using bar soap as a facial cleanser before. But lately, there are so many types of soaps, new developments, and advertisements that I was curious. When I first received the package, I appreciated that it wasn't over-packaged. The recyclable paper box and paper tape showed that this company cares about the environment. There's a distinct scent from the box, which seems to be a mix of patchouli and rosemary leaf oils. The soap itself has a milder scent when you sniff it directly. The scent is strong enough to act as an air freshener in the bathroom. The soap has a light pink color due to the calamine ingredient. I followed the 60-second rolling method. It lathers well and the foam is very rich and creamy. Even with plenty of water, the lather remains thick and creamy. Perhaps due to the anti-inflammatory, antiseptic, antibacterial, and soothing ingredients, my skin felt protected. The more I used it, the more it seemed to remove impurities and dead skin cells. After use, my skin became smoother, with improved texture and reduced blackheads and whiteheads. It seems to continuously exfoliate dead skin cells. At 150g, it's large and long-lasting. For a handmade soap, it doesn't soften too quickly, which is great. After cleansing foundation and lip tint with over 1 minute of thorough massage, then using toner to wipe, there was no residue. This shows that the soap alone cleanses well and leaves skin feeling squeaky clean.
ConsEven after massaging for over 60 seconds and rinsing with cool water, there's a slight tingling sensation. Used at a room temperature of 23°C, there's a slight feeling of dryness after washing. The price is a bit steep unless you catch it on sale. They used patchouli oil as a fragrance, which is listed high in the ingredients. The scent lingers for quite a while after washing and has a somewhat medicinal smell that's not particularly pleasant. There are no dramatic effects. The soap is large and cylindrical, making it difficult to roll in your hands. I wish it was a 150g round ball shape instead of a cylinder. After washing with the soap and drying, there's a characteristic soap-washed feeling. A slightly rough sensation? After 3 days of use 😭 My face became red, inflamed, and very irritated. I had to stop using it as rough, blemish-like bumps appeared all over.
TipRecommended for summer use. In fall and winter, immediate moisturizing is needed after cleansing. The instructions say to massage for 60 seconds and rinse with cool water, but for those with sensitive skin, I recommend a gentler massage to avoid irritation.

Hydration: As my first time using a soap-based cleanser, I was worried it might be drying. However, it leaves my skin feeling so moisturized and smooth, I almost wonder if I've rinsed it all off! Cleansing mask effect: The skin feels so smooth even when used as a regular cleanser. I tried leaving the lather on as a bubble mask for a bit before rinsing, and it left my skin feeling silky smooth with noticeable (though not perfect) dead skin cell removal and sebum control. Fragrance: It has a strong, pleasant scent that seems natural rather than artificial, so it's not off-putting. The soap is quite large, so I cut it into pieces. The lovely aroma fills my bathroom, bedroom, and even my drawers! Rich lather: Without a foam net, it comes out like a sticky mucus and doesn't lather well. But with a foam net, that sticky texture transforms into a dense, elastic foam that's perfect for a non-drip mask application. Ingredients: I appreciate both the quality of ingredients and the concise ingredient list. Eco-friendly: As someone who can't give up meat but tries to use vegan products where possible, I'm thrilled to find a vegan cosmetic that's gentle, effective, and has great ingredients. It's hard to find all these qualities in one product! The paper packaging also helps ease any environmental guilt while using it.
ConsThe soap bar is quite large, which makes me worry it might get soggy during use. It's too big to hold comfortably in one hand, causing me to drop it often. It doesn't even fit into my foam net in one piece. When my skin is sensitive, using it as a mask can be a bit irritating - probably due to its exfoliating effect, it causes a stinging sensation.

(It reminds me of using the Senka foam cleanser) * I love that it doesn't cause any tingling or burning sensation on my face. Throughout the testing period, I didn't experience any irritation. * The soap doesn't get squished even when left in its case, making it easy to store. Since the bar is quite large, it seems like it will last a long time.
Cons* Some ingredients might cause irritation for those with super sensitive skin. (Although I didn't personally experience any discomfort during use) * The size is quite large, making it surprisingly heavy. It's not something you can easily hold while using. (I feel like I want to divide it into smaller pieces, and a soap net would be nice) * Being a bar soap, it doesn't produce as much lather as some might expect. * It has a distinctive scent that might not be everyone's cup of tea.

It's exhausting to maintain! That's why I was so excited to try the Cha:ga Rest solid cleansing pack. It seemed to offer dual functionality as both a basic soap and a simple face pack. I'm grateful for the opportunity to test it out. I absolutely love the rich lather, the subtle pleasant scent, and especially how squeaky clean my skin feels afterwards. I'm particularly fond of that super clean feeling, and this soap delivers it even more than others I've tried. The generous size is great too! Though it felt a bit extravagant, I also tried it on my oily body skin. Just rubbing it twice on my shower puff produced enough rich foam to cleanse my entire body. My skin felt so refreshed after showering!
ConsWhile brief cleansing was fine, when I left the foam on longer as a cleansing pack, my skin started to tingle uncomfortably. For two days after, I experienced itching on my face. My body skin was fine, but my facial skin became irritated. When I stopped using this soap for a few days, the itching subsided. It seems I'm better off using this product only for quick cleansing rather than leaving it on as a pack.
TipI recommend trying it for body cleansing as well.

As someone who wants to use less plastic, I often opt for bar-type shampoos and cleansers. This one is sizeable and performs well. Despite its substantial weight, it fits comfortably in one hand. There's a real difference between using it as a cleanser and as a mask, not just in name. When used as a mask, it leaves my skin much smoother with a scrub-like effect. For cleansing, it works fine when I'm not wearing makeup.
ConsThe egg white-like slippery texture might be hit or miss for some. While it doesn't leave residue after rinsing, it doesn't lather like regular soap, which might feel a bit odd... Also, when I used it as a mask and massaged it in, my skin felt slightly tingly, like after a peel, when I tried to apply my skincare afterward. It subsided quickly, so I don't consider it a major drawback. The cleansing effectiveness is only satisfactory when not wearing makeup.
TipUsing a magnetic holder is more convenient than a foam net.

Surprisingly, it didn't leave my skin feeling as dry as I expected! - Lather The lather is amazingly rich and creamy! I used it with a foam net, but it quickly produced a dense, luxurious foam that made the cleansing experience so enjoyable. - Scent I'm extremely sensitive to fragrances, and sometimes beauty soaps are too strongly scented for me to use. However, this product has a subtle, pleasant aroma that made me happy from the moment I opened the package to when I used it.
ConsThis isn't really a drawback, but it's a bit ambiguous - initially, I was unsure how to store and use it because it was so large. I ended up putting it in a mesh bag, but after reading other reviews, I wish I had divided it into smaller portions. It's a bit of a regret. Occasionally, I felt a slight tingling sensation on areas with blemishes, so it seems I'll need to adjust usage based on my skin's condition.
