This product is the best for removing oxidized sebum before it turns into blackheads! You don't need to use it consistently - just one use shows results. It's especially helpful for removing sebum from the tip of my nose.
ConsIt's drying, and perhaps because it's a soap, it makes my chin area itchy as if I'm developing folliculitis.
TipI use this cleansing pack on my T-zone and areas with prominent pores, while I cleanse the area around my chin separately with a low pH foam cleanser.

It's quite effective at removing excess sebum, and it rinses off quickly, leaving a clean feeling!
ConsThe scent is quite strong, which can be dizzying. When left in the bathroom, the fragrance spreads everywhere, which can be overwhelming.

It's exhausting to maintain! That's why I was so excited to try the Cha:ga Rest solid cleansing pack. It seemed to offer dual functionality as both a basic soap and a simple face pack. I'm grateful for the opportunity to test it out. I absolutely love the rich lather, the subtle pleasant scent, and especially how squeaky clean my skin feels afterwards. I'm particularly fond of that super clean feeling, and this soap delivers it even more than others I've tried. The generous size is great too! Though it felt a bit extravagant, I also tried it on my oily body skin. Just rubbing it twice on my shower puff produced enough rich foam to cleanse my entire body. My skin felt so refreshed after showering!
ConsWhile brief cleansing was fine, when I left the foam on longer as a cleansing pack, my skin started to tingle uncomfortably. For two days after, I experienced itching on my face. My body skin was fine, but my facial skin became irritated. When I stopped using this soap for a few days, the itching subsided. It seems I'm better off using this product only for quick cleansing rather than leaving it on as a pack.
TipI recommend trying it for body cleansing as well.

The texture is slippery with a mucus-like viscosity, similar to nasal discharge. I'm satisfied with the large 150g size. It's quite firm, so it doesn't soften or crack easily. All ingredients are great, without artificial synthetics or surfactants. I don't typically use a foam net with my cleansing soap, so I'm pleased with the thorough cleansing even without abundant lather. If you prefer rich foam, consider using a foam net. The scent, possibly from the chaga mushroom, was initially quite strong - almost like air freshener - but became more subtle over time. Without a foam net, it doesn't lather much, but it still cleanses effectively when rubbed directly on the face. It leaves a squeaky-clean finish and gives a sense of purified pores. The packaging is entirely recyclable paper, making it eco-friendly to use. When I tried using it as a massage pack as directed, the continuous rolling irritated my skin, so I only use it for cleansing now.
ConsIt doesn't seem to be a low pH product. Perhaps due to an imbalanced pH, I occasionally experience itching and red allergic reactions on my forehead. It stings the eyes quite a bit, so avoid opening your eyes while cleansing.
TipCutting it horizontally and using it in sections might prevent softening and cracking, allowing for a cleaner usage.

After rinsing, it felt incredibly refreshing and squeaky clean! It's hard to explain this squeaky clean feeling, but... Unlike regular soap that can feel overly squeaky, this product left my skin feeling just right - pleasantly clean without overdoing it. The best part was experiencing that refreshing, squeaky clean sensation every time I used it. It was so satisfying! Summary: I highly recommend this product to anyone looking for that refreshing, squeaky clean feeling after cleansing!
ConsWhen I first used this product, I experienced some itching along my jawline's contour area. I thought, 'Maybe this product doesn't suit me?' But after continuing use for two or three days, the itching gradually improved. Thankfully, by the third day, I didn't feel any itching at all. However, when I had to stop using it for 2-3 days due to personal reasons and then resumed use, the itching returned. Still, it improved again after 2-3 days of consistent use. Also, the product has a very strong scent! I'm quite sensitive to fragrances - I'm okay with light, subtle scents but tend to dislike strong ones. Before trying the product, I kept it in my room, but the strong scent gave me a headache and made me feel uncomfortable. Even after moving it to the bathroom, the scent bothered me for a few days. (Interestingly, the scent was subtle and not bothersome during use, but it was noticeable when I used the bathroom for other reasons.) Over time, I got used to it, and now I'm aware of the scent but it doesn't bother me anymore. The product is called a 'cleansing pack,' but it feels more like a soap, so I'm not sure why it's called a 'pack.' Also, it's a bit pricey for soap, and given its large size, it would be better if it came in smaller portions. Summary: ✔ There was some itching for the first 2 days of use, but it went away after that. While I had no issues after the third day, I don't recommend this for those with very sensitive skin! ✔ The strong scent took me a while to get used to. If you're more sensitive to fragrances than I am, I don't recommend using this product!
TipThis might not be a pro tip, but... The instructions that came with the product suggested using your hands or a soap net to lather. I tried using just my hands first, planning to buy a soap net if it didn't lather well. But it actually lathered up nicely with just my hands! I prefer a good lather, and I think most people will find using hands alone is sufficient. So, I recommend trying it with just your hands first, then decide if you need a soap net or not!
