  Pros

  This is my summer essential. My face always feels hot and I have redness, so I use this especially well in summer. Also, when I've been in the sun a lot, applying this definitely speeds up recovery. I love how lightweight it feels on the skin.

  Cons

  I often apply it to my face when I feel hot, not necessarily as a mask. However, when it dries, there's definitely some pilling that occurs.

  Tip

  It's also quite effective at soothing mosquito bites or other insect bites. I just apply it to my cheeks before bed when I feel my face heating up.

  Great for versatile use all over. Especially good for gua sha massage. Unlike oily massage creams that made my face itchy, this one feels hydrating even when reapplied.

  Cons

  Applying too much can lead to pilling. While it might work well as a body lotion in summer, it really didn't suit my dry skin type.

  I use this as an extra boost when my skin feels dehydrated during my skincare routine. It's also great in combination with ointment and aloe vera when dealing with blemishes.

  Depending on how you apply it, it can pill like dead skin cells. If you apply a thick layer all over, it might feel drying and cause itching as it dries. However, it's actually very good for the skin. The ingredients keep changing, but I think version 1 or 2 with cypress water was better.

  It's great for use on both face and body. Especially in summer, after showering before bed, applying it to your body and face and then feeling the breeze from a fan is pure bliss...! It's also very soothing for blemish-prone skin, which is why I've been using it for 4 years now.

  If you apply too much, it can pill like dead skin cells! Make sure to apply a moderate amount and let it absorb well.

  Tip

  For areas where you want to soothe blemishes, apply a thicker layer before bed. You'll notice a significant improvement by the next morning.

  The ingredients list isn't bad, and I like that it comes in a pump bottle. I'm generally a fan of the Aromatica brand, but this is the only product that's let me down.

  Cons

  Strangely, it has a severe pilling issue, almost like the formula solidifies and comes out in clumps. It's not even particularly hydrating either. It feels inferior to cheaper aloe gel products. I'm not sure if the pilling is due to ingredient compatibility, but I really wish they'd fix this problem.

  After experiencing the pilling multiple times, I've completely stopped using this product on my face.
