Even though I have oily skin, my face feels tight after cleansing. Applying this right after is perfect!
ConsIt absorbs almost too well? I still feel some deep dryness. The scent is quite strong and chemical-like, which I'm not a fan of. It also runs out really quickly, unfortunately.

The product offers great value with a generous amount for the price, and the pump dispenser makes it convenient to use.
ConsI've been waiting for this moment, but not in a good way. Within just one minute of application, my skin started tingling and there was a burning sensation! If I had waited any longer, it felt like my skin would have crossed a point of no return. Also, the fragrance is overwhelmingly strong! Somehow... the scent is so intense that it doesn't feel like aloe gel, but more like I've applied stationery store slime that shouldn't be on my face.

ConsFirst off, the scent is way too strong. Every time I apply it, it's like I'm putting on alcohol rather than skincare. The smell is really overwhelming

Absorbs well - Being a gel, it absorbs beautifully into the skin! 2. Large size at a great price! - I love that it's a generous amount at a wallet-friendly price, so I can use it without hesitation! I even used it on my body during summer.
Cons1. Scent - The artificial aloe scent was quite strong (this might be a matter of personal preference!)

So I'm updating it to recommend it again. It's truly amazing. This summer, I was so busy with work that skincare felt like a distant dream. Even removing makeup felt like a chore due to extreme fatigue. But every morning and night after cleansing, I applied this aloe gel (two and a half pumps) over my toner and any water-based ampoule I felt like using that day. I'd let it absorb completely before applying my base makeup. (I've been avoiding sheet masks lately because they're such a hassle.) The results were even better than when I was diligently using sheet masks - my skin's inner dryness improved significantly, and both my skin texture and hydration levels improved dramatically. My makeup also applies beautifully now. I've noticed aloe packs are trending on YouTube, where people put cotton pads or damp sheet masks over aloe gel, but that's too much effort for me. I just pat it in until it's fully absorbed. Even this simple routine has shown incredible results! This product is absolutely fantastic. As soon as the weather cooled down, my skin went haywire. This aloe gel has been tremendously helpful in restoring my skin's condition. After confirming on Hwahae that it doesn't contain alcohol, I narrowed down my options and tested a few on the back of my hand at Olive Young. This one had the cleanest finish. I bought two bottles at a great price on Cou* to use as a pack and with my galvanic device. However, it seems some people don't react well to it, so please do check the low-rated reviews here too. While it works wonders for me, some users have experienced severe reactions. Currently, I use three pumps when using it with my galvanic device or rubber mask, and two pumps when I'm just applying it for soothing purposes. It's working great for me. Let me list the benefits I've experienced: 💦 It's not drying for an aloe gel, as it doesn't contain ethanol 💦 It absorbs cleanly without leaving a greasy or slippery finish, leaving skin fresh and moisturized. (Some aloe gels seem to be formulated with a slightly slippery finish to maintain hydration. When testing at Olive Young, I felt the Bring G* aloe gel had that kind of finish.) 💦 It's affordable when purchased from Cou* 💦 The pump bottle is convenient to use, with a twistable nozzle for open-close functionality 💦 It has excellent soothing properties (I used it when my skin broke out with folliculitis and milia after using the wrong cushion) 💦 When used with other oil-based products, it greatly helps alleviate deep dryness 💦 When my skin was in terrible condition, it stung slightly upon application, but it wasn't a harsh or allergic reaction kind of sting. It felt more like water being rapidly absorbed into extremely dry skin. After applying it at night and experiencing that slight sting, I woke up the next morning with noticeably clearer skin. It felt like it had been thoroughly absorbed, soothing and hydrating my skin. 💦 It's widely available, allowing for price comparisons. It seems to come in various sizes - I bought the 500ml bottle. With 500ml, you can use it generously.
Cons🤏 It stings terribly if it gets in your eyes, like putting Appa Skin in your eyes 😢 🤏 It tastes a bit harsh if it gets in your mouth (like cosmetics) - These downsides might make you think it's harsh, but for someone with extremely sensitive skin like me, the benefits far outweigh these minor issues.
TipWhen my skin is extremely dry and desert-like, for my night care routine, I apply a hydrating toner generously, followed by two layers of a hydrating serum (I'm currently using Number* 6). Then I apply three pumps of this aloe gel and use a galvanic device for 5-7 minutes. This absorbs about two-thirds of the product. I gently pat in the remaining aloe, and when only a small amount is left on the skin, I immediately apply a nourishing regenerating cream. (I use Bioderm*'s Cicabio Pommade, which works wonderfully with Aromatica's aloe gel.) I usually apply another layer of the regenerating cream once the first layer has been slightly absorbed. This leaves my skin feeling much more comfortable the next day. When I need extra soothing, after using the galvanic device, I apply a gentle moisturizer (or the regenerating cream) on top and then use a rubber mask. After removing the rubber mask, I apply one more layer of the cream I used just before the mask.

It really feels like it's replenishing both hydration and moisture.
ConsThe scent is a bit overwhelming. It has a peculiar smell that seems artificial.

While it's not as cheap as some drugstore aloe gels, this product still offers good value for its size. I'm particularly fond of the brand's natural philosophy.
ConsIt's a bit disappointing that the aloe ingredient is an extract (powder form) rather than aloe vera leaf juice. I've heard that for maximum aloe benefits, the order goes juice > water > extract. The rosemary scent is overwhelmingly strong - it literally took my breath away when I applied it. Both my mom and I are sensitive to fragrances, so we had to force ourselves to use it up. I usually like rosemary scents, but this one is just too intense. Unfortunately, I can't repurchase due to the fragrance.

It was great for soothing and brightening my complexion. I really wish they'd bring it back.
ConsAfter the renewal, the smell became unpleasant, and my cheeks developed a rash similar to contact dermatitis.

Often on sale, making it affordable. However, it didn't have a calming effect on me and didn't suit my skin well.
ConsThe scent is a bit off-putting. I expected an aloe fragrance, but there's also a slightly grassy smell that I didn't like (Nature Republic's aloe seems to have the classic scent). Also, aloe is supposed to soothe the skin, but it seemed to cause more blemishes for me, so I gave it to my brother who now uses it regularly (we both have oily skin, so it might be down to individual differences). As everyone knows, aloe moisture evaporates quickly, so you must finish with a cream or emulsion. Using this alone actually makes your skin feel drier.

Aromatica has completely lost its original spirit!
Cons* I've used at least 15 bottles year-round. I'm writing this for the public good. Don't buy it. 1. After the renewal, the product has a murky color as if contaminated, and the scent has become strange with an unpleasant odor. 2. Not organic ingredients anymore. If there were natural ingredients before, now it's just a chemical product mimicking aloe. 3. The unique cooling and clean soothing effects of the gel are gone after application. It feels like applying water - no hydration at all, just drying. Skin becomes red and there's a tingling sensation. 4. It seems they've made some money and want to cut costs while treating customers like fools. None of the previous advantages remain at all. It's time to switch to a different product. 5. Strange smell and murky color that make you question the ingredients. 6. Stop pretending to be an organic, ethical cosmetics brand. You're just a company that's made some money and is now mocking consumers.
TipDon't buy it. I'm writing this for the public good. Honestly, using this didn't soothe my skin - it only made my blemishes worse.
