I'm someone who habitually applies sunscreen every day, which means I need to pay extra attention to cleansing daily. While cleansing oils are convenient, they sometimes cause blemishes, and cleansing waters feel too weak, leaving me in a dilemma. This Dokdo Cleansing Milk strikes the perfect balance - it's gentle yet effectively removes sunscreen. At first, I thought, 'Being a milk type, won't its cleansing power be weak?' But once I tried it, I found the texture to be hydrating, melting gently into the skin while thoroughly cleansing. There's no stiffness at all, and my skin feels moisturized without any deep dryness after washing!
ConsAs gentle as the formula is, its cleansing effectiveness might feel somewhat insufficient for heavy makeup

It adheres well to the skin and seems to effectively remove impurities and sunscreen residue. It feels like a product that excels at the basics.
ConsThe price is a bit high for the amount you get. I wish they would release a larger size option.
Tip1. Apply the cleansing milk to dry skin and gently massage it in. 2. Slightly dampen your fingertips and massage again to enhance the emulsification process. 3. Use a cotton pad soaked in warm water to wipe away the cleansing milk. 4. Finish by rinsing your face. Throughout the process, minimize pressure and avoid rubbing too vigorously.

I tried the Dokdo Cleansing Milk and it's truly amazing! It effortlessly removes sunscreen and even basic makeup with double cleansing. What I love most is how it cleanses so gently thanks to its great ingredients. It's a perfect match for my skin!
ConsI tried to find something to criticize, but it's just too good! If I had to nitpick, I wish it came in a larger size.

It effectively removes sunscreen without any harsh effects on the skin.
ConsWhile its cleansing effectiveness might be slightly lacking, it works perfectly fine for removing sunscreen. So, it's an ideal product for those who only apply sunscreen as their last skincare step.
TipRemember to apply it on dry hands and a dry face, and make sure to emulsify it properly!

ConsThe cleansing effectiveness seems a bit weak, as it didn't remove mascara very well
TipOn days when you've only applied sunscreen, this cleansing milk product would be great for removing it!

But this one passes with flying colors because it doesn't cause any blemishes! I've been trusting the Dokdo brand for years, and this cleansing milk definitely feels gentle on the skin. Dokdo is truly a godsend for those with sensitive skin. The cleansing effectiveness is great too! Of course, you'll need to double cleanse, but I do that anyway, so it's not really a drawback. I highly recommend this Dokdo Cleansing Milk with its gentle ingredients, blemish-free results, and excellent cleansing power!
ConsI have no complaints whatsoever. It's absolutely perfect!
TipRemember everyone, double cleansing is a must!

This was my first time trying a cleansing milk, as I've been using only Bioderma micellar water for about 10 years. ✔️ Cleansing effectiveness It handles basic cleansing well. It removes eyeliner and mascara, though I use a lot, but it doesn't feel as thorough as micellar water. ✔️ Hydration Unlike micellar water, which can feel a bit harsh when wiping, this milk cleanser is definitely gentler. It's not heavy like an oil cleanser, so it leaves my skin feeling moisturized and nice! ✔️ Convenience I kept the Bioderma at home and this milk cleanser at my gym. It's convenient since you don't need cotton pads - just squeeze some out and massage it in. The pump dispenser works well and is hygienic! ✔️ Blemishes This is the most important factor for me. I stuck with Bioderma because changing products often led to breakouts, making me waste new products. So far, this cleanser hasn't caused any issues! It feels gentle. Overall, I'll probably stick with my micellar water, but if this cleanser continues to work without causing blemishes, I might use it on days when I'm too lazy to rinse off micellar water or when I've only worn sunscreen or light base makeup. It's rare for someone like me who's used the same product for years to switch, but I think I could use this Dokdo cleanser alongside my usual one! I'm happy to have discovered something new!
ConsCompared to micellar water, the cleansing power is somewhat lacking. Some mascara residue remains. Also, I'm not sure if I'm using it wrong, but towards the end of massaging, the milk seems to evaporate? It feels a bit dry, which worries me that it might irritate or damage my skin surface.
TipUse it generously!

Cleansing effectiveness - When removing makeup, I used a dedicated lip and eye remover for eye makeup, and only used the Dokdo Cleansing Milk for my base. I was surprised at how well and thoroughly it removed everything! Gentle - I didn't feel any irritation while using it. If you're looking for a mild cleanser, I highly recommend this one. Texture - While it has a thin consistency when dispensed, it doesn't drip or run excessively.
ConsScent - When I first dispensed it, the scent seemed citrusy, but when I applied it directly to my face, it had a slightly sour smell. Those sensitive to fragrances might not appreciate this aspect. Feel - Initially, it feels very hydrating, but as I continued massaging it into my skin, it started to feel a bit dry.

I prefer milk formulations among cleansing products because they remove unnecessary oil, sebum, and makeup residue without being irritating or causing tightness! After applying the cleansing emulsion, I thoroughly massage it for about a minute, then add water to emulsify it. Finally, I gently wipe it off with a cotton pad soaked in water, resulting in a perfectly clean face! Afterwards, just rinsing with water leaves my skin feeling soft and hydrated without needing a second cleanse. It's such a pleasant experience! I always trust the Dokdo line, so I was excited to try their new cleansing emulsion. As you can see in the photo, it emulsifies easily and leaves a clean finish. It worked well even on my sensitive skin without any adverse reactions! There was no eye irritation either. These days, I only wear sunscreen when I go out, so it's great that I can effectively remove it with just this milk cleanser. For those considering a milk cleanser, I highly recommend this product with its excellent ingredients!
ConsI wish they would offer a larger size option! Also, for some reason, all cleansing milk products come in opaque containers, making it difficult to gauge how much is left.
TipAs a final step, be sure to use a damp cotton pad! It eliminates any residual feeling, so you can skip using a foam cleanser.

Unlike other makeup cleansing products that can leave your skin feeling dry, this one is as soft as milk. It's so creamy that it feels more like applying an emulsion than a cleanser! 2. It removes makeup effectively. I was worried that its gentleness might compromise its cleansing power, but that concern was unfounded. It removes makeup thoroughly without any irritation!
ConsIt leaves a hydrated finish, which I found a bit disappointing as I personally prefer cleansers that leave my skin feeling dry and matte.
TipYou can gently remove your makeup first, then finish with a toner for a complete cleanse. However, if you prefer a matte finish like me, you can cleanse twice. Even so, it's still much more hydrating than regular cleansers!
