  I'm very particular about the products I use on my children. Especially when it comes to shampoos, conditioners, and cosmetics that are often loaded with chemicals, I can't help but scrutinize them carefully. First off, I'm relieved that this product is free from harmful ingredients, and I appreciate that the scent isn't overpowering. It's nearly fragrance-free with a clear formula that lathers well, which I really like. What I love most is that it doesn't tangle the hair, so there's no need for a separate conditioner after shampooing. I find myself enthusiastically recommending it to everyone around me.

  There's nothing I dislike about it! Though I do slightly wish it came in a larger size.

  I really appreciated that there were no harmful ingredients at all. Despite having no fragrances, it didn't leave any unpleasant odors even when used on my baby's sweaty head in summer, which made me feel it had decent cleansing effectiveness. The foam lathers up nicely with small, dense bubbles, and thanks to its smooth texture, it washes my baby's increasingly long hair without tangling, which is great.

  Cons

  There's nothing particularly bad, but the narrow, tall bottle makes it feel like it might tip over when pressing the pump with one hand.

  The gentle ingredients were safe for my child's scalp, and I was especially impressed with its cleansing effectiveness. It lathers up nicely with just a pump or two. Even though it got into my little one's eyes a few times, there was hardly any redness, which I really appreciate. The bottle is surprisingly compact despite its generous volume, making it convenient for travel. I also liked that it's unscented, without any artificial fragrances.

  The container is quite dark, which isn't ideal. A clear bottle would be better for seeing how much product is left. The formula is quite thin, and while I understand that's part of the formulation process, it can easily slip through your fingers if you're not careful. After shampooing, the hair feels quite stiff, so a conditioner seems necessary. My little one's hair got quite tangled. Despite these issues, it's still clearly a good shampoo.

  To prevent the shampoo from slipping through your fingers, try applying it directly to the hair and lathering it up there.

  I used to rely on 2-in-1 shampoo and shower products, blaming my laziness as a mom while using convenience as an excuse. But I'm glad I got the chance to try Leaf Barrier Baby Shampoo. Using a separate shampoo definitely makes my hair softer, less frizzy, and more manageable. The scent isn't overpowering; it's actually quite subtle. Interestingly, my child said it smelled sweet, like honey, when using it. It seems like using separate shampoo and body products makes us feel more pampered!

  No scent at all My child is very sensitive to fragrances, so there are quite a few products we can't use. Rather than trying to create a pleasant scent, I find it more reassuring and preferable when there's no scent at all. (After always using scented products, it feels a bit strange at first, like you haven't washed properly, but later it feels more refreshing than products with artificial fragrances) Hair becomes softer The hair becomes semi-moisturized and softer. My hair was stiff and dry, but it's become truly soft. You have to try it to believe it! The hair feels silky smooth to the touch. Improves scalp health My child had a bit of dandruff, but it's hardly noticeable now. It seems to really benefit scalp health as they scratch their head less. Design and volume It used to be a hassle to pack separate shampoo for the kids when traveling or camping, but the flat, rectangular shape and modest size make it perfect for carrying around. It seems like it was designed by someone who's raised children for a long time. I'm very pleased with this product and it's great to see visible results. I definitely intend to purchase it again and would like to use it until my child grows up.

  Watery consistency If I had to pick something, it's a bit inconvenient to use (But it gives the impression that only necessary ingredients are included, which is actually reassuring)

The cleansing effectiveness is great - it even works well on adult hair that hasn't been washed for two days. However, there's a slight feeling that some oil remains on the inner scalp. For children's hair, it cleanses perfectly without any issues. I thought it might feel a bit stiff, but surprisingly, the hair feels soft and bouncy. It lathers up really well too!

  - Ingredients True to its baby shampoo nature, the ingredients are incredibly gentle and kind to the skin. - Fragrance I love that it's fragrance-free without any artificial scents. - Cleansing Effectiveness Despite being mild, it lathers well and cleanses effectively. For a girl with long hair, 3 pumps are sufficient (though each pump doesn't dispense a large amount). When I use it on my oily scalp and thick, long hair, I need about 6 pumps, but that creates rich lather and cleanses well. (Naturally, using more product seems to remove oil better) The photo shows the lather after just 3 pumps. Due to the large size, I could only upload one image. - After Use When my child uses it, there's no need for additional treatment - no dryness or tangling. Overall, it's a very satisfying product.

  - Consistency It's quite watery and runny, so be careful when pumping... It tends to splash and drip between fingers, so I pump it directly onto my child's head. - Fragrance Even though it's fragrance-free, some products can still help control scalp odor for sweaty children due to their ingredients. This product is somewhat lacking in that aspect.

  After finishing my 13-month-old daughter's all-in-one wash, I was wondering what to switch to when I luckily won this and got to try it. I was happy to receive a Botanical Therapy product because it's a brand you can trust. First off, the design is sophisticated and doesn't look like a typical baby product. I think it's meant for adults with sensitive skin who are particular about fragrances and ingredients too. The texture is very thin, almost like water. The scent is truly fragrance-free! When you try it, you'll see that while it doesn't create artificially rich lather, it still foams up nicely. It's great as an introductory baby shampoo!

  Cons

  Well... since I was used to foam-type products, and this one comes out as a watery liquid, you might spill it on the floor if you miss like I did. It can be tricky for moms with very young babies or those who can't freely use both hands to wash hair while bathing. It's a bit inconvenient compared to products that instantly create lather, as you need to work up the foam in your hands.

  Tip

  I recommend using it with a foam maker or a foaming net. Of course, it's fine to use it as is too!

  I used this for my 29-month-old boy! I loved that it's not a tube but a pump bottle. One pump dispenses just the right amount for my little one. The ingredients are great, so I used it with peace of mind. Before his first birthday, we used just any shampoo and ended up struggling with dead skin cells on his scalp.   I was surprised by how well this thin, oil-like formula lathers up. One pump creates enough rich foam to wash my child's hair successfully. Though the bottle looks slim and small, it actually contains the standard 200ml, just like the products I use at home. So there's plenty to go around. The mild scent is pleasant and not overpowering.

  As a pregnant adult user, I found it doesn't seem to work well for oily scalps.
