- Hwahae UserDry SkinOct 24, 2022
It absorbs well, but it feels like it dries quickly. Applying it frequently seems to give better results. The scent is quite strong and artificial, which might be polarizing for some users. - Hwahae UserNormal SkinSensitive SkinJul 31, 2022
*For dehydrated normal skin - Texture It has a transparent, watery consistency like a toner, but with a slight density that makes it feel like a thin essence. When touched, it has no stickiness but feels slippery. - Application I use it as the first step after cleansing. It's gentle on the skin and eyes, making it easy to apply. While it doesn't absorb super quickly, once it does, there's no residue and it feels refreshing. I apply this product first, let it absorb, then use other essences or emulsions, and finish with another layer of this. It's a bit of an unusual method, but it doesn't make my skin feel heavy or uncomfortable, so I've been using it consistently morning and night. - Effects I have visible pores in my T-zone and my skin was sensitive due to dermatological treatments, but I used the M'Cury Essence. There was no skin irritation or blemishes at all. It's known to have brightening, anti-wrinkle, and pore care effects, but since I haven't used it for long, I'm not sure about significant results yet. However, during the hot and humid summer, my pores didn't enlarge further, and my treated skin returned to its normal condition well, so it seems to have some effect. - Price and Ingredients Usually, mid-range functional essences come in 50-70ml sizes and cost around 30,000-70,000 won. Instead of buying those, this product with its larger volume is more convenient to use and offers much better value for money. The ingredients don't raise any concerns, and it's mild with only a tiny amount of artificial fragrance, so you can use it without worrying about allergic reactions or blemishes. The packaging design is disappointing considering the price. It gives off a vibe reminiscent of early 2000s Missha products. Nowadays, there are many beautiful products with transparent containers that show the contents well and are easy to recycle. When placed on the vanity, this product looks very outdated. Also, there's a slight scent that's similar to cheap soap. While the fragrance itself isn't strong, it somehow evokes a sense of nostalgia for older products.
