It spreads evenly without any clumping, and it feels like applying an oil balm rather than being sticky. 🔸 It has an oily feel, but it's more of a glowing sensation than being greasy! It seems to absorb quickly! 🔸 The balm contains both a wrinkle balm and a firming balm, so it's a two-in-one product! 🔸 Among the balms, this one seems to have the best value for money:)
Cons🔸 It may feel a bit heavy to apply in the summer, so you'll need to judge the application area carefully. 🔸 My cheeks have become slightly flushed, so I'm not applying it to that area!ㅠㅠ
TipApply it thinly in one or two layers, and reapply when it feels dry. It's better to apply only to the necessary areas rather than applying a lot at once.💜

For oily skin types or when sebum production is high like in the summer, the oil content may clog pores. 🔺It's portable! Those with prominent flaking or very dry skin can conveniently carry and use this to smooth over dry patches. As long as you don't apply it too thickly, it can also help minimize flaking when touching up makeup. 🔺It has a cap and can be directly applied, so you don't have to worry too much about hygiene. If the surface gets a bit dirty, you can just wipe it once with a tissue and it's clean again for use. 🔺For the reasons above, it can be conveniently and hygienically applied not just on the face, but anywhere that's dry. It's especially great during dry seasons!
Cons🔻It seems to just charge up the oil content. The moisture doesn't seem to get replenished. It's not suitable for summer. 🔻If I had to nitpick, the packaging color is a bit dark, so it doesn't really stand out. 🔻It feels more like Vaseline than an emulsion. It's a conveniently hygienic Vaseline-like product that can be quickly applied.
TipI keep it on my bedside table and apply it once more on the dry areas of my face just before bed after my skincare routine, and it doesn't let my skin get dry until morning!

The biggest advantage of this product is that it applies smoothly and has a nice, soft glide. It can also be used as an eye cream or lip balm substitute, and is great for applying to areas like the neck and elbows. Despite being an oil-based product, it feels quite lightweight. It keeps skin moisturized for a long time and has decent lasting power. The aroma is like herbal aromatherapy, which I personally liked, but it may be divisive for some.
ConsIt's a bit unavoidable, but since it's oily, it does feel a bit greasy. I only used it at night. With summer coming up, I'm not sure if I'd want to use it all over my face during the hot weather, as it might feel too heavy.

As the weather is starting to get warmer and oiliness is building up, I thought it would be good to use a light skincare routine. Please refer to this review, which I wrote while using the product for about 9 days in the evening after cleansing. 👉🏻Convenience: It's very nice that I can just swipe the product on my skin after toner without having to dispense the ampoule into my hands. I can just smoothly apply it all over. 👉🏻Lightness: Since I can just swipe it on, there's no feeling of the product being layered on top. It just blends in lightly, leaving a slight coating-like sensation. When I wash my face in the morning, it seems the product hasn't fully absorbed yet and still remains on my skin.
ConsConsidering this is a review for using the product in hot weather... 👉🏻Oiliness: As mentioned above, while it's light, the coating-like sensation means there is a bit of an oily feel left on my face. The photo shows the purple is the ampoule ingredient and the ivory is like a balm, and I feel it might be a bit too greasy to use in the summer.🥲 👉🏻Efficacy: The skin improvement or wrinkle reduction effects don't seem that strong. After applying the toner, my face feels moisturized, but if you're looking for multiple benefits, it might be better to use an ampoule.
TipThe toner should be lightweight and quickly absorbing for it to be easy to apply the balm on top. Or it might just feel like it's sitting on the surface.

It's especially easy to apply around the lips and eyes, and since it's an oil-based product, it quickly makes the skin feel moisturized and non-drying. It's lightweight. Even though it's in a stick form, the product itself feels as light as a lipstick.
ConsHowever, since it's oil-based, it may be burdensome for those who tend to get shiny faces easily. Especially for those who sweat a lot in the summer, it may feel a bit uncomfortable. There is a slight sticky feeling left after application, but this goes away after a short while. It's not uncomfortably sticky. If you apply it lightly, the stickiness is minimal.
TipWhen reapplying sunscreen every 4 hours outside, lightly blotting the face and then applying this product can help replenish the lost moisture, preventing the skin from feeling dry and tight. Applying it around the lips after brushing your teeth is also a good idea.

I've been using it consistently since I received it, and it doesn't feel sticky. The feeling when applied is similar to that of a lip balm. It's convenient to carry around. I think it would work well for me even when I'm outside on dry days. I haven't experienced any breakouts or issues. I apply it before bed, and when I touch it in the morning, it feels moisturized.
ConsIt may feel a bit stuffy for oily skin types. The oily feeling makes it more suitable for autumn and winter rather than summer, which is the current season I'm using it in.

My mother has a slightly dry skin type, while I have a completely dry skin type. 1. It is easy to apply. 2. The scent is acceptable and not unpleasant. 3. It has good moisturizing power, so it seems suitable for use in the winter. (It may be a downside in the summer) 4. There is no tightness on the face at all. The most important wrinkle improvement effect was not clearly noticeable, perhaps due to the short trial period. This is not a product that shows immediate visible results in the short term.
Cons1. It does not absorb well and feels too greasy. It seems very difficult to use, especially in the summer. According to my mother, it has a rather heavy, caked-on feeling. 2. As it has a balm-like texture, when I apply this product after another skincare step, it tends to slide, which makes the overall skincare routine more time-consuming and inconvenient.
TipEspecially for those with oily-leaning skin types, the absorption is not very good, so I would recommend this more for dry skin types.

Cons👍Stickiness, Oiliness This is not a downside for those with dry skin, but for oily skin types, it is not recommended in the summer due to the oily residue.
TipApply it periodically while keeping it in front of you. It rolls off when applied over makeup.

I thought it would be great to use since you can apply it easily without touching your hands, and after using the Missha Ampoule Balm Stick, I found it really convenient to just swipe it on. I don't like getting lotion or sunscreen on my hands, so for sunscreen, I always use a sponge applicator to avoid getting it on my hands, and that was really nice about this product. I could just easily swipe it on when going out with a bare face. I have some wrinkles around my eyes and on my forehead, so I applied it diligently, and first of all, I liked the design. The gorgeous purple color and the purple in the ampoule balm itself made me want to apply it often. After applying it, I felt like my skin was filled with nutrients, and when I touched it, it was incredibly moisturizing. It's not lightweight, but very hydrating, and it feels like it's smoothing out the wrinkles. Haha. It's an all-in-one that takes care of elasticity, wrinkles, and hydration, so I was excited to use it. I usually don't like heavy textures, but this level of moisturization was great for my standards, and it felt like my skin was getting a lot of nourishment at once. Although I haven't seen dramatic effects yet, I could feel the tightening in those areas as I applied it well. Also, I prefer products with a slight fragrance over unscented ones, and while I'm not sure how to describe this scent, it's a light floral scent that I really enjoyed. In conclusion, I think this product would be great for those concerned about wrinkles and those with dry (to very dry) skin, as the care it provides seems quite effective.
ConsI usually prefer a more powdery finish, but this product being so moisturizing was actually a downside for me. It was so hydrating that it felt a bit greasy and heavy for my liking. (Please refer to the before/after photos.) I think those with oily skin might find it even more problematic. (I have dry skin, but just speculating.) My hair also got stuck to it, and it felt a bit sticky, so I think it might be tricky to use in the summer. There was also a tip to massage it in circular motions, which I tried diligently, but the balm kept sliding down, not just during the massage, but also when I was swiping it left and right on my neck area. I'm also using the Bobbi Brown Foundation Stick, and as those who have tried it would know, I wish this Missha balm had a more solid, grip-like texture when applied, instead of constantly having to reapply it. That was quite disappointing for me.
TipAh I see, that's a great tip to help address the issue I mentioned. Instead of gripping the main body of the balm, holding and rotating the top part while applying can prevent it from sliding down. That makes perfect sense, and I'm glad it's not just my product that has that tendency. For those like me who dislike the greasy, heavy finish, applying a light, powdery moisturizer as the final step could help offset that. Haha, good idea!

This seems to be a common characteristic of night-type products, not necessarily a drawback. * Effectiveness: It definitely reduces dryness, and after using it for a week, my eye area appears to have gained a bit more elasticity. But it's still early, so I'll need to use it more to see the full effects. * Volume: Compared to the leading multi-balm product from another brand, this one has a 1g larger volume and is slightly more affordable. * Easy to carry around.
ConsI'd like to use it on my neck as well, but it feels a bit sticky. I probably won't use it on my neck during the summer.
