This product seems suitable for all skin types, whether you have dry or oily skin. It's gentle enough for everyone to use without worry. The hydration power is absolutely top-notch! I think it would be excellent for dry skin or calming blemishes. Whether you use it as an exfoliating toner or for the 7-skin method, it's satisfying in every aspect of use!

The only downside is the price, but I'll definitely be stocking up during Missha's sales!

As a huge fan of Missha's Bee Pollen line, I've been relying on it every winter for over 5 years to get through the cold months. I bought the Artemisia Pad for my teenage daughter with acne, but surprisingly, it's not just great for her - it's amazing for my extremely dry skin in my 40s too! Despite my initial prejudice that it might smell like mugwort because of the name, the scent is actually quite mild. What's truly impressive is how incredibly hydrating it is. Some pads tend to dry out quickly after use, but this product maintains its moisture so well. I think it would work wonderfully as an exfoliating toner or for the 7-skin method!

I start by washing my face with the mugwort cleansing foam, then apply the pad. After waiting 10-15 minutes, I remove it and let the essence absorb. Next, I spritz on the mist. Then, I pat on the mugwort serum, let it absorb, and apply the mugwort cream. After letting it absorb slightly, I place an oil blotting sheet on top and remove it after about a minute. (I've also used cleansing oil or Innisfree cream as additional steps.)

First off, it really stings if it gets in your eyes! The serum drips from the sheet and can easily get into your eyes. For me, it doesn't seem to be very effective at calming blemishes, and considering its lack of effectiveness, it's a bit pricey.

As someone who's been using the mugwort line for about 2 years, I've gone through about 5 tubs of the pads. They're definitely gentle. Initially, I bought the whole range - mist, cream, cleansing foam - because a store employee said it was great for teen acne. For me, it's not a miracle worker, but there's a slight calming effect. The main difference is how soft my skin feels afterwards. It's definitely hydrating. The products are gentle, so even those with sensitive skin should be able to use them. The absorption is smooth too.

After completing your skincare routine, cut the pad in half and apply it like a mask! It splits cleanly in half, making it easy to apply.
The twist-open lid can be a bit annoying, so I've replaced it with a similar-sized one-touch lid from another product for easier use.

- Personally, while it feels hydrating, I don't find it particularly moisturizing. If you're looking for deep hydration, I'd recommend applying a moisturizing cream or trying a different product.
- I found the pads quite thick, making it difficult to use as a mask without cutting them in half. (They split cleanly in half, though.)

- Packed with essence, making it super hydrating and refreshing! Great to use when your skin feels hot.
- The pad size is quite large, covering the entire cheek area!
- It's not completely round but slightly concave, so it doesn't cover your eyes when placed on the cheeks - that's a plus!
- When used at the first sign of blemishes, they disappear quickly.

The pads aren't made of split cotton, but rather a single-layer, cotton-like material. Using them to wipe can cause irritation to the skin. While the pad itself isn't rough, the wiping motion feels abrasive on the skin, so I probably won't repurchase. It would be great if they could improve the pad material. Please check the material in the photo below.

I bought this at a discounted price. While I mainly use it as a toner, I'd only recommend it for those looking to use it as a mask. It has a herbal scent, maybe mugwort? It smells like it would be good for the skin. I've used about half of it, but haven't noticed any significant soothing effects. The ampoule comes in a generous amount with a nice, fluid consistency.

I keep them in the refrigerator for a refreshing, cool application.

- While there's a pair of tweezers included, it's a shame you can't store them inside the lid of the product.
- Initially, the ampoule is quite watery and tends to drip excessively.
- The pads themselves could use a bit more adhesion to the skin.

- It's definitely great for soothing the skin. My face tends to get quite warm after showering, but when I apply this, I can feel the hydration and calming effect right away. It's really effective at reducing that heat sensation.
- My makeup seems to apply more smoothly the next day too.

I recommend this for those looking for pads that can be torn and used as a mask pack, focusing more on hydration than deep moisturization. However, I wouldn't recommend it to those sensitive to strong scents or those who prioritize packaging convenience.

To be honest, the packaging isn't the most user-friendly. Many pad products these days come in cases with a one-touch opening and a place to store the tweezers. The Mugwort pads have a screw-top container with no space for tweezers, which is a bit inconvenient.

# Texture
The essence is abundant, moisturizing, and refreshing! It has a toner-like consistency that's not too heavy, making it suitable even for those with oily skin. It's perfect for people looking for a lightweight pad pack.

# Pad Material
The product page describes them as 'tank pads', and they truly hold a lot of essence. They're like half-cotton pads but slightly thicker. The material tears easily, which is great for using on tricky areas like the nose and chin where a whole pad might be too much!

# Pad Size
The pads are quite large, about 7cm I think. They're big enough to cover an entire cheek, which this chubby-cheeked user appreciates... haha!

# Scent
Having tried the Mugwort line ampoule too, I can say it has that typical intense medicinal/herbal mugwort smell. While the scent is quite strong, you do get used to it, and it's less intense than the ampoule. Personally, I like it - it gives me the feeling that it's working to improve my skin!

# Essence
The essence is really generous! The pads are soaked in so much that they don't dry out quickly, and there's still essence sloshing around in the container after you've used all the pads! I had enough leftover essence to soak 8 cotton pads for an extra mask routine.

However, the texture of the pads is quite rough. Also, the scent isn't great - it's a very natural fragrance that just wasn't my style, unfortunately.

Back when my face was like a canvas painted with blemishes, and I was going through the worst of my acne phase... My mom pulled this out for me. At first, I was reluctant to use it because the design and name weren't appealing. But since it was from my mom, I gave it a try. And wow, it was great! My acne was so severe that my face always felt hot, but this product reduced that burning sensation and provided decent hydration. Plus, the pads are huge! They cover your entire cheek area!

It was great at first, but after a month of use, I don't see any effects anymore.

I love how it calms the redness. After using this, my skin's tightness disappeared.

Since it didn't work for my face, I used it on my body instead. Now my body smells like mugwort? On the bright side, it leaves my elbows smooth, hydrated, and incredibly soft.

It was completely incompatible with my facial skin, so I had to stop using it immediately after trying it once.

The strong mugwort scent is pleasant for those who enjoy it. It gives off a traditional herbal medicine vibe, which I love - helps me sleep like a baby! The cream is incredibly hydrating and moisturizing.

The cotton pad is a bit stiff and thick, making it difficult to adhere closely to the face.

It quickly calms the skin and feels gentle. The large cotton pad allows for coverage of a wider area.

I think using this alongside other products from the mugwort line, like the mugwort ampoule, creates a great synergy for even better soothing effects!

Compared to the carrot pads from the other brand, these felt more rough and stiff rather than soft. Despite the generous amount of ampoule, I'm not sure how well it actually absorbs into the skin. It seemed like the sheet itself was designed to hold onto the liquid rather than help it penetrate the skin.

I'm not sure if it's due to the ingredients, but if this gets in your eyes, it really, really stings! Be careful when applying around the eye area. The ampoule drips from the sheet easily, so even if you don't squeeze it intentionally, it can easily get into your eyes.

I won't be repurchasing this!

I bought this during Missha's Nego-wang sale when it was cheap. As the name suggests, it really does soothe with mugwort! The effects were definitely noticeable. Before using, I had some red, irritated areas that looked like they might break out soon. But after placing the pad like a mask for a bit, the inflammation went down. The scent is very herbal and fresh, which made for a refreshing experience. Though I should mention, the fragrance might be hit or miss for some people!

I loved that it came with tweezers, allowing for hygienic use by picking up one pad at a time.

The amount of ampoule is seriously generous - when you shake the whole container, you can hear the liquid sloshing around.
