I bought the Artemisia Pad for my teenage daughter with acne, but surprisingly, it's not just great for her - it's amazing for my extremely dry skin in my 40s too! Despite my initial prejudice that it might smell like mugwort because of the name, the scent is actually quite mild. What's truly impressive is how incredibly hydrating it is. Some pads tend to dry out quickly after use, but this product maintains its moisture so well. I think it would work wonderfully as an exfoliating toner or for the 7-skin method!
ConsThe only downside is the price, but I'll definitely be stocking up during Missha's sales!
TipThis product seems suitable for all skin types, whether you have dry or oily skin. It's gentle enough for everyone to use without worry. The hydration power is absolutely top-notch! I think it would be excellent for dry skin or calming blemishes. Whether you use it as an exfoliating toner or for the 7-skin method, it's satisfying in every aspect of use!

While I mainly use it as a toner, I'd only recommend it for those looking to use it as a mask. It has a herbal scent, maybe mugwort? It smells like it would be good for the skin. I've used about half of it, but haven't noticed any significant soothing effects. The ampoule comes in a generous amount with a nice, fluid consistency.
ConsThe pads aren't made of split cotton, but rather a single-layer, cotton-like material. Using them to wipe can cause irritation to the skin. While the pad itself isn't rough, the wiping motion feels abrasive on the skin, so I probably won't repurchase. It would be great if they could improve the pad material. Please check the material in the photo below.

It gives off a traditional herbal medicine vibe, which I love - helps me sleep like a baby! The cream is incredibly hydrating and moisturizing.
ConsIt was completely incompatible with my facial skin, so I had to stop using it immediately after trying it once.
TipSince it didn't work for my face, I used it on my body instead. Now my body smells like mugwort? On the bright side, it leaves my elbows smooth, hydrated, and incredibly soft.

As the name suggests, it really does soothe with mugwort! The effects were definitely noticeable. Before using, I had some red, irritated areas that looked like they might break out soon. But after placing the pad like a mask for a bit, the inflammation went down. The scent is very herbal and fresh, which made for a refreshing experience. Though I should mention, the fragrance might be hit or miss for some people! I loved that it came with tweezers, allowing for hygienic use by picking up one pad at a time. The amount of ampoule is seriously generous - when you shake the whole container, you can hear the liquid sloshing around.
ConsCompared to the carrot pads from the other brand, these felt more rough and stiff rather than soft. Despite the generous amount of ampoule, I'm not sure how well it actually absorbs into the skin. It seemed like the sheet itself was designed to hold onto the liquid rather than help it penetrate the skin. I'm not sure if it's due to the ingredients, but if this gets in your eyes, it really, really stings! Be careful when applying around the eye area. The ampoule drips from the sheet easily, so even if you don't squeeze it intentionally, it can easily get into your eyes. I won't be repurchasing this!
TipI think using this alongside other products from the mugwort line, like the mugwort ampoule, creates a great synergy for even better soothing effects!

Many pads I've used before had little to no essence at the bottom, so this is great. The pads are huge, so I feel it's a bit wasteful to use two at once. I cut one in half and use it like a skin pack on both cheeks - half is more than enough! I'm not sure what mugwort is supposed to smell like, but these have a fresh, healthy scent. The texture of the pads is soft and spongy, like cotton puffs. I'd say they're about as thick as two uncut cotton puffs soaked in essence. They're surprisingly thick!
ConsWhile it's nice that pad products come with tweezers, it can be a hassle to keep them hygienic. But not including them feels a bit off too... I wish there was a way to store the tweezers inside the lid for convenience.
TipSince there's so much essence, after you've used all the pads, you could soak cotton puffs in the leftover essence. (Cotton puffs are about 3,400 won for 40 pieces, but there's a budget version at Daiso with 72 half-sized cotton pads for just 2,000 won! It's a great deal - everyone should try it!)

I love how soft it feels. When I need to calm my skin, I just place it on my face and it really helps soothe. Pro tip: store it in the fridge for double the effectiveness!
ConsThe pads are a bit thin, so sometimes they bunch up when I'm wiping my face. It can be a bit tricky to use!

Despite their thickness, they adhere well due to their size. - The pad material is soft like cotton, holding essence well and easily tearable for customized application (doesn't dry out quickly). - The essence feels clean and lightweight. - It has a pleasant mugwort scent (like a mugwort bath). - The ingredients list is clean. - As my skin responds well to mugwort masks for soothing, this product also suits me well.
Cons- At full price, it's about $0.50 per pad, which isn't cost-effective for covering the entire face (you'd need about 5 pads for full coverage, even though they're large). - The essence is quite runny and can drip.
TipTrue to its name, it's best used as a spot treatment! It's worth keeping on hand for times when you want to avoid the hairline while masking, or just want to treat specific areas like the cheeks. Even at $0.50 per pad, it's a good addition to your skincare arsenal (but I'd recommend waiting for a sale to purchase).
