My face tends to get quite warm after showering, but when I apply this, I can feel the hydration and calming effect right away. It's really effective at reducing that heat sensation. - My makeup seems to apply more smoothly the next day too.
Cons- While there's a pair of tweezers included, it's a shame you can't store them inside the lid of the product. - Initially, the ampoule is quite watery and tends to drip excessively. - The pads themselves could use a bit more adhesion to the skin.
TipI keep them in the refrigerator for a refreshing, cool application.

ConsIt was great at first, but after a month of use, I don't see any effects anymore.

The large cotton pad allows for coverage of a wider area.
ConsThe cotton pad is a bit stiff and thick, making it difficult to adhere closely to the face.

There's a lot of product, and as you use it, you'll find it's great for calming blemishes! I think it would be even more effective if you keep it in the refrigerator.
ConsThe pads are absolutely terrible. Honestly, these are the worst pads I've ever used. They feel like cheap school uniform fabric, so they don't adhere well to the skin and are difficult to split in two. Also, when used as an exfoliating toner, there's a rough feeling. While the toner itself is soothing, the pads seem to make the skin more sensitive. I ended up buying separate pads from Coupang to use instead. I really can't recommend this product because of the pads.
TipIs it really worth buying? There are so many great pads out there. I'd suggest checking what the pads feel like first, and if you're okay with them, then go ahead and purchase. But if you think you'll end up buying different pads to replace these, just don't bother. It's a waste of money. I'm glad I bought this during a sale event, because if I had paid full price, I would have really regretted it.

They're also easy to tear along the grain, perfect for targeting smaller areas. I'm particularly impressed with the pad's shape and texture. While it's too early to fully assess the results, I've noticed a slight calming effect on my skin.
ConsUnfortunately, there isn't enough essence to fully saturate the pads, which is a bit disappointing.

It feels more like a toner than an ampoule. With its focus on hydration rather than moisture, it's perfect for oily or combination dehydrated skin types looking for a soothing product. If you have dry skin, it's ideal for summer use. During seasonal changes or winter, finish with a cream for best results. For a hydration boost, apply a sheet mask before blow-drying your hair after washing. It's amazing how it calms redness and blemish-prone skin.
ConsThe initial scent takes some getting used to. It has a strong, distinct mugwort aroma that might be off-putting at first.
TipThe pads are pleasantly thick. It's great that they come separated into two pieces for convenience.

The Artemisia line is gentle, soothing, and hydrating. When my skin acts up, I layer the pad, ampoule, and cream in that order. The pads, in particular, are a game-changer. They're uniquely shaped with a slight depression, making them easy to apply under the eyes.
ConsThe only downside is the limited number of pads per package. That's a bit disappointing. However, unlike other toner pads, these are generously soaked in essence and don't dry out quickly. The scent is pleasant to me - it smells like mugwort - but it might be an acquired taste for some.
TipDon't leave the pads on for too long just because they stay moist. Remove them after about 15 minutes for best results!

As the name suggests, it really does soothe with mugwort! The effects were definitely noticeable. Before using, I had some red, irritated areas that looked like they might break out soon. But after placing the pad like a mask for a bit, the inflammation went down. The scent is very herbal and fresh, which made for a refreshing experience. Though I should mention, the fragrance might be hit or miss for some people! I loved that it came with tweezers, allowing for hygienic use by picking up one pad at a time. The amount of ampoule is seriously generous - when you shake the whole container, you can hear the liquid sloshing around.
ConsCompared to the carrot pads from the other brand, these felt more rough and stiff rather than soft. Despite the generous amount of ampoule, I'm not sure how well it actually absorbs into the skin. It seemed like the sheet itself was designed to hold onto the liquid rather than help it penetrate the skin. I'm not sure if it's due to the ingredients, but if this gets in your eyes, it really, really stings! Be careful when applying around the eye area. The ampoule drips from the sheet easily, so even if you don't squeeze it intentionally, it can easily get into your eyes. I won't be repurchasing this!
TipI think using this alongside other products from the mugwort line, like the mugwort ampoule, creates a great synergy for even better soothing effects!

It's perfect as a soothing, hydrating toner pad. The toner is plentiful and nicely hydrating, and the pads are soft, making them ideal for a toner pack. It feels more like a water-based toner than an essence. The large size of the pads is great for placing one each on the cheeks, forehead, and chin. For those who prefer exfoliating toners for dead skin cell removal, the texture might be a bit disappointing. It's not gauze or embossed cotton, just a soft pad surface! Highly recommended for those looking for hydrating toner pads to place on cheeks and forehead before makeup.
ConsThe pads are a bit thick, so I've been splitting them in half like carrot pads. However, when split, the pad tends to create a lot of lint-like fuzz that sticks to hands and skin. It's not bothersome when used as a pack, but it can be a bit irritating when rubbing. Although I'm on my fourth bottle, I haven't noticed significant soothing effects... I might try something different next time.
TipBefore applying makeup in the morning, split a pad in half, place one on each cheek for 5 minutes, and then do your makeup - it absorbs well and creates a nice base. Since there's plenty of toner, you could just buy replacement pads to use with it. The photo shows about 1/3 of the toner remaining.

It's amazing how quickly it calms redness after squeezing blemishes or reduces the burning sensation after a dermatologist visit. The cooling effect is truly remarkable.
ConsWhile the pads adhere well to the skin, they tend to dry out rather quickly.
