Usually, high-concentration niacinamide products can strip away oils, but this one's great for those who couldn't use high-strength niacinamide due to dryness. Its watery texture absorbs well, leaving skin moisturized without feeling rich. It's suitable even for super sensitive skin like mine that's prone to deep dryness, and there's no pilling, making it perfect for use before makeup. - While it may not dramatically brighten, it effectively evens skin tone. With consistent use, it helps reduce redness from blemishes or after extractions. - The value for money is impressive. It's affordable for its volume without compromising on effectiveness. Using up to two pumps morning and night as recommended, a bottle lasts nearly half a year. - The product dispenses well right down to the last drop. Unlike many serums or ampoules where the dropper or pump can't reach the remnants, this one empties completely. The transparent bottle shows the remaining product, and it's satisfying to see it used up entirely.
Cons- While I personally don't have major issues, the high concentration can cause a slight tingling sensation when applied (although niacinamide is generally non-irritating, higher concentrations can cause some tingling). Those with super sensitive skin might prefer lower-concentration alternatives available in the market.

With 21% niacinamide + 1% low molecular weight hyaluronic acid, this serum is designed for brightening, hydration, and excellent absorption. You don't even need to layer additional ampoules afterwards - it leaves your skin care routine feeling moisturized and firm. ✓ It's fragrance-free, a ray of hope for those who found the typical niacinamide scent overwhelming Many niacinamide products often have a somewhat unpleasant smell, but this one doesn't have that characteristic odor. It's practically fragrance-free, allowing for a comfortable skincare experience! Overall, this is an ideal cosmetic for those wanting to boost their hydration and brightening routine. It also helps simplify your skincare steps, so keep that in mind.
ConsBe cautious when applying to areas with acne or wounds as it may cause a stinging sensation! Just be careful when applying and you should be fine.

The packaging, easily recyclable container, and minimal yet effective ingredient list all impressed me. It's my first time trying Dermafactory, and I hope brands like this that care for both consumer skin health and environmental health thrive! Eco-friendly As mentioned above, the easily recyclable packaging. Seeing the very simple container made me feel they're not just pretending to be eco-friendly, but truly aiming for sustainability. Minimal and effective ingredients I'm really impressed with the ingredients. Even if all ingredients are top-grade, I prefer a minimal list rather than dozens of various components. I also prefer products with a base other than purified water. My cheeks are dry, so hydration is important. This product: ✅ Has rose flower water as the base ✅ Has a minimal ingredient list ✅ Contains 20% niacinamide ✅ Plus hyaluronic acid for extra hydration I'm absolutely in love with it. I'm writing this review with sincere appreciation. I've tried products with niacinamide before, but this is my first time with a high concentration of 20%. I was worried it might not suit me, but fortunately, I could use it without irritation from day one. Although niacinamide is the main ingredient, the hydration was better than expected! I was concerned it might be drying, but using this product and applying cream 1-2 times was sufficient. Of course, it might not be as hydrating as products focused on moisture. If you want more hydration, you could mix it with other products as the brand recommends.
ConsThere's nothing I dislike about it~ I used two pumps, but when I tried three pumps one day, I felt itchy and tingly around my chin. I thought it might be due to the high concentration, so I went back to two pumps the next day and it was fine. Adjust the amount and frequency of use while checking for any skin irritation~
TipI knew it was best to avoid direct sunlight when applying niacinamide, so I thought I had to use sunscreen during the day. That's why I only used it at night, but I saw on the homepage that it can be used day or night. Just for your reference~

Initially, I was a bit worried as it was an unfamiliar brand, but the texture is light like water, similar to a toner. Using it alone might be too drying, so you'll likely need to follow up with a cream or emulsion. It's hydrating and absorbs quickly, making it perfect for those who dislike sticky products. The scent is completely neutral - you can't smell anything at all. I have acne-prone skin, but I didn't experience any breakouts. It seems like a great product for light hydration. After continued use, I'd say it's not recommended for acne-prone skin. It can be quite tingling on damaged or sensitive skin. It's probably best suited for those with clear skin looking for a hydration boost.
ConsIt stings a bit when you've popped a pimple or have wounds on your face... I wouldn't recommend applying it when your skin is very irritated or has open wounds.
TipThe texture is fluid like a toner, so it's great for layering multiple times. Following up with a cream or emulsion is a must.

This opportunity allowed me to test Dermafactory's 21% Niacinamide Hyaluronic Serum. It's my first time using niacinamide, and I appreciate that it's a clear, odorless liquid. As long as the concentration is right, it seems like a product that's easy to use without strong preferences either way. Being fragrance-free is a plus for those with sensitive noses. The niacinamide content is just right, and the ingredients are gentle, making it a product I'd recommend to fellow beginners venturing into niacinamide. The added hyaluronic acid improves absorption and provides hydration, so my skin doesn't feel dry after application. I like the product design - it's simple yet modern, with a pump dispenser and cap for hygienic use. After using it for a while, I've noticed excellent brightening effects and no significant skin irritation, which keeps me using it consistently.
ConsIt stung when applied to areas with open wounds, and I couldn't really tell if it had much effect on my blemishes, possibly due to the short period of use.

The fact that it's fragrance-free and non-irritating, as well as being gentle, were all great points.
ConsMy eyes sting when I use this. I thought I might have confused it with another product, so I tried using it alone, but it still stung. The sensation goes away quickly, but I can't figure out why it irritates my eyes.
TipGiven its generous size, you can apply it thoroughly to areas that need hydration in winter, like your face, elbows, and heels. It feels incredibly moisturizing!

It's slightly thicker than water but closer to a toner than a serum. The cooling effect you feel as soon as it touches your face made me think it would be great for soothing skin with heat. I especially noticed that my makeup went on better after using this product, so I applied it one more time as the last step in my skincare routine.
ConsIt stung when it touched areas with blemishes. It doesn't seem to be an extremely gentle product, so it's best to use with caution.

Ingredients: ★★★★★ - Contains a high concentration of 20% niacinamide, known for its excellent benefits like skin brightening, soothing, hydration, and strengthening the skin barrier. I had high expectations for this product! - Additionally, it includes 1% hyaluronic acid, which I loved for its superior hydrating properties. - With 63.6% rose water and 21% functional ingredients, about 85% of the formula is gentle on the skin, considering potential blemishes. 2. Hydration: ★★★★★ - When applied, you'll immediately feel a deep, intense moisture filling your skin. - While my oily-skinned sister found it a bit heavy, it was perfect for my dry skin. - I was very satisfied with the hydration as my face didn't feel dry even after layering an emulsion over the serum. 3. Packaging: ★★★★★ - The transparent bottle allows you to see the contents, which somehow instills confidence in the product. - Unlike opaque packaging where it's hard to tell how much is left, this clear bottle is much more practical. - The clean design without unnecessary logos is eco-friendly and gives the impression of a gentle, natural product, which I really appreciated.
Cons1. Skin Tingling: ★★★ - I was aware that high concentrations of niacinamide can cause a tingling sensation as a side effect. Perhaps due to my dry winter skin, there was some initial discomfort when applied. The area around my chapped lips felt particularly sensitive! - However, as my skin became more hydrated, the tingling sensation significantly decreased. 2. Texture: ★★ - It has a light, watery texture. Interestingly, you can feel its presence immediately upon application, which I consider a plus as it gives a sense of hydration. - The issue is with the pump dispenser. If you pump it directly onto your face, it drips. Even when pumped onto your hand, it can still run while applying. Tilting the bottle slightly causes the product to seep into the cap. - This was quite inconvenient. I wondered if a dropper might have been a better choice than a pump.
TipAlthough I have dry skin, using this product together with other ampoules or essences caused some blemishes to appear. I'm not sure if it was due to over-hydration. If you want to use other functional ampoules or essences alongside this product, I'd recommend choosing ones without oils or using less of this product. As always, moderation is key!

It absorbs incredibly well. With consistent use, it really brightens your complexion. I've actually been able to use a lighter shade of foundation now.
ConsDo not apply to broken skin. It stings so much it brings tears to your eyes.

ConsAs soon as I applied it, I felt an intense burning sensation, stinging, and it was way too irritating. I pumped just a tiny amount into my regular skincare routine and spread it over my entire face, but it caused some kind of allergic reaction, and my face broke out in tiny bumps everywhere... It was a disaster!
