I got to try this as part of The Hwahae Testers program, and I must say the pads are incredibly soft and adhere well to the skin. It's an excellent product for soothing the skin. Plus, it's generously soaked in essence. After use, it feels like there's a slight film left on the skin, which isn't the texture I prefer. I want to praise this product for its clever design. The lid has a clip attachment, but there's no separate cover for storing the clip. This minimizes plastic use while still making it easy to keep the clip handy. As for the pads themselves, I didn't notice any dramatic effects. They feel similar to regular cotton pads. They don't make my skin exceptionally hydrated, but they're gentle and convenient since I don't need to use cotton balls. Since I usually avoid products with fragrance, scented items make me feel like I'm applying perfume to my face, which I don't enjoy. My cousin likes the scent, so it's probably a matter of personal preference. Personally, I prefer fragrance-free options. Some people dislike how thick these pads are, but I actually appreciate it. They contain plenty of essence and don't dry out quickly because of their thickness. 1. The scent is almost undetectable, nearly fragrance-free. 2. For sensitive skin, some pads can be harsh, but these have a slight thickness that prevents discomfort. 3. Gentle on the skin. 4. Even with vigorous use, they remain soft and don't irritate the skin. It's not very effective at removing dead skin cells. It's mainly for adding hydration to the skin.

The amount of essence in the container is generous, ensuring the mask stays moist throughout use. After cleansing, it helps refine skin texture, and with continued use, I noticed my skin becoming smoother and more soothed. Using it as a hydrating mask before makeup in the morning also helps my makeup apply beautifully. The only downside is that I wish the sheet mask was a bit thinner. As someone with combination dehydrated skin, sensitive skin, and blemishes, I've struggled to find any skincare that works. But I was lucky enough to win the Ginkgo Shield Pads in an event. After using them for 2 weeks and completing a survey, I wanted to use them a bit longer before writing this review. What I loved was the great hydration - the essence felt rich and nourishing. The container was packed full of essence, which was fantastic. The pads were absolutely soaked, which I really appreciated. I used one pad daily, either in the morning or evening. Not only did it provide great hydration, but the effects seemed to last. My skin texture improved, my complexion brightened, and overall my skin looked better. The built-in tweezers were convenient and hygienic, which I liked. There weren't many downsides, but if I had to mention one, the pads felt a bit thick. It might be better if they could be made slightly thinner. Instead of keeping them at room temperature, I stored them in the refrigerator. If you want a cooling effect, I recommend refrigerating them. When I suddenly get blemishes, I sometimes use an exfoliating toner followed by a cica serum, or apply an SOS cica cream. The next day, my skin feels calmer and the texture looks better.

But after just one use of these pads, my skin calmed down so quickly! I love that the container is packed with ample essence, and the pure cotton pads are gentle, causing no irritation. There's a slight artificial lemon scent, but it's fresh and not overpowering, so I didn't find it bothersome.

That's definitely its best feature! With the dry weather lately, I've been applying it just to my cheeks, and it feels wonderfully hydrating. I think it would work great as a mask before applying makeup. The scent is refreshingly citrusy. There's plenty of essence in each pad, so you can really soak your skin in moisture. I was thinking about buying these pads when I got lucky and won The Hwahae Testers selection! Can you see how much essence is in there? It's amazing! They even included tweezers, which made it so convenient. The pads are neither too light nor too heavy, so I could get just the right amount of hydration and moisture my skin needed. I used to do a daily mask routine, but I've been applying products with my hands for a while now because I heard masks can be irritating. Maybe that's why, but the fabric felt a bit rough to me... Sigh.
