I bought this when it was on sale, so the value for money wasn't bad. The scent is quite pleasant. Personally, I experienced some itching when using it. It's not extremely hydrating. - ch*******Combination SkinSensitive SkinSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRecommendedMay 29, 2025
The ultimate bang for your buck in body oils! I think it's from Aromatica~! It's incredibly smooth and deeply hydrating These days, I apply this oil instead of cream after showering When I use this oil with gua sha, it leaves me feeling incredibly refreshed The oil absorption is a tad slow?!! It's quite rich, so be careful not to get it on clothes or furniture! After showering, let it absorb naturally for long-lasting hydration - wl*********Normal SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsMay 28, 2025
The subtle lavender scent is so soothing, and the moisturizing power is fantastic! It's definitely a product I've enjoyed using. It's a bit on the oily side, so I found myself reaching for it less often during warmer seasons like summer. This product seems to work well for hydration and has a calming scent, which is great for relaxation. However, its rich texture might be more suitable for cooler months or for those with drier skin types. For combination dehydrated skin or during humid weather, it might feel a bit heavy. Consider using it as part of your evening skincare routine or layering it with lighter products for better absorption during warmer seasons. - ye*********Combination SkinRecommendedApr 29, 2025
The fragrance is lovely, and it's remarkably effective for my severely dry skin. I've noticed a significant reduction in dead skin cells! Keep an eye out for sales. I'm particularly enjoying the gua sha tool that came with it. I bought mine at Costco, where it was not only cheaper but also came with some gratis items! - bj********Dry SkinSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresDead Skin CellsRecommendedApr 4, 2025
As a dog owner, I'm always cautious about using aromatherapy products at home. This blend with marjoram and lavender gets a thumbs up since it's safe for pets! The scent is subtle and non-irritating, making it perfect for my gua sha routine. I wish the packaging was different. A dropper or open-top bottle would be cleaner and more convenient than the screw-on lid. That's a bit disappointing. Great for gua sha massages! - am********Normal SkinInner DrynessEnlarged PoresRecommendedApr 1, 2025
I use this for gua sha on my body and face, and it's fantastic! The scent is subtle, and it doesn't cause any blemishes on my skin, which I love. After a shower, I apply this and give myself a massage - it's like magic for melting away fatigue! There's nothing particularly disappointing about it! It's just that I personally find applying body oil a bit of a chore, so I don't reach for it as often as I should... - tj*******Dry SkinRecommendedApr 1, 2025
I use a lot of Aromatica products because of their great ingredients. I have extremely dry skin, so I apply oil year-round. This one absorbs well and feels light, making it perfect for summer use too. There wasn't anything particularly disappointing. Please keep producing oils with good ingredients! - aa*****Oily SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedMar 23, 2025
Pros: - Texture & Hydration: As someone with oily facial skin but extremely dry body skin, I often scratch until I bleed in winter, even when using emulsions. This year, I decided to try an oil and chose this body oil after comparing several products on Hwahae. Being new to oils, I prioritized hydration but didn't want something too sticky that would stain clothes. After testing it at Olive Young, I was pleasantly surprised by its lightness and picked it up. It's a lightweight oil that provides adequate moisture, suitable for both winter and summer use. - Application: I discovered there's a difference between applying it to dry skin versus slightly damp skin. The absorption is significantly better on damp skin. For those with extremely dry skin, I recommend layering an emulsion on top for double the hydration. - Fragrance: I bought it for the lavender scent, hoping it would aid sleep. The lavender isn't overpowering, which I appreciate, and I've been sleeping very well. All five products in this line have subtle, universally appealing scents. As someone sensitive to fragrances who usually prefers unscented products, I find these mild and not long-lasting. By the time I go out after my shower, the scent has faded enough that it doesn't interfere with my perfume. - Packaging: The elegant glass bottles make this product gift-worthy. The brand's clean and eco-friendly image is strong, showing effective marketing. Cons: - Longevity: Due to its light texture, it doesn't last extremely long. In mid-winter, using both the oil and a body emulsion, it lasts about 10 hours (considering my very dry skin). For those with normal skin, the oil alone should be sufficient. - Quantity & Price: The amount is a bit small for the price, so it's best to look out for Olive Young sales. - tn******Dry SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedMar 21, 2025
Aromatica oils are quite renowned. I received this as a gift and gave it a try. As someone who generally enjoys oils, I used it while comparing it to others I've used. Firstly, this oil doesn't have an overpowering scent. The fragrance is subtle and on the lighter side. In fact, for a gift, this kind of mild oil is perfect as it's not too overwhelming. You can use Aromatica oils with peace of mind due to their high-quality ingredients. Aromatica has a large gua sha tool that pairs wonderfully with this oil. Applying the oil to your neck and all over your body, then gently massaging with the tool feels incredibly refreshing. Rather than using the oil on its own, I like to mix a bit into my emulsion or use it for targeted massages on different body parts. I appreciate its versatility. Overall, it's a well-rounded oil without any major drawbacks. However, I personally prefer stronger citrus or woody scents. I enjoy when the fragrance lingers on my skin after application, so I might not purchase this with my own money, but that's just my personal preference. I highly recommend this as a gift option. It might be a bit disappointing for those who prefer a more intense fragrance. - fu**********Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinMar 21, 2025
I first tried Aromatica's shampoo and loved it, so I started exploring their other products. Noticing the body oil was quite popular, I decided to give it a try. I must say, the fragrance is delightfully subtle and the hydration is excellent. Some body oils can be too thin or leave your skin feeling less moisturized than you'd like, but this one has a nice weight to it. When applied right after a shower while your skin is still damp, it spreads easily and seems to adhere well to the skin. Another plus is that you can choose from a variety of non-irritating scents to suit your preference. The brand's commitment to eco-friendly products, including the packaging, could be an attractive point for many consumers. I was surprised to find the ingredients list a bit disappointing. It might be hard to recommend this to those with super sensitive skin. While I have sensitive, blemish-prone skin and haven't had issues with other Aromatica products, I did experience a mild allergic reaction with this body oil. When I wasn't feeling my best and applied it after a shower, my arms and legs suddenly became itchy and my skin turned red. It improved after sleeping, but I'd advise starting with a small amount. I now use about 5 drops, applying it to my whole body when my skin is still damp. Apply it right after showering while your skin is still damp. This helps it absorb much better and reduces stickiness. Be cautious with application on your chest and back as these areas can be prone to blemishes. I always start with my legs, then arms, and use any remaining product on my chest and back.
