  Pros

  I didn't expect much hydration from a peeling serum, but it felt surprisingly plump and bouncy on my skin.

  Cons

  Those with sensitive skin should be cautious. I applied small amounts gradually on my face, but it caused blemishes to appear. More importantly, despite being a peeling serum, I didn't feel like it effectively removed dead skin cells.

  Tip

  Since it doesn't suit my skin for full-face use, I'll probably just use it occasionally on a cotton pad to gently exfoliate around my nose area when needed.

  Pros

  The fluid-like texture made it easy to apply. It absorbs well and provides a nice boost of hydration. When used with a moisturizer before makeup, it really helps the makeup adhere beautifully! It also seems to calm the skin quickly.

  Cons

  Even after absorption, there's excess moisture on the surface that mixes with oils over time, making it difficult to use alone. This caused my bangs to become greasy. Also, it really stings when applied to skin blemishes.

  Tip

  After applying the ampoule and letting it fully absorb, I follow up with a matte sunscreen or brightening moisturizer! Then I finish with powder. Alternatively, I sometimes wipe it off with a cleansing wipe.

  Texture and Feel: The formula is lightweight with a consistency slightly thicker than water. As someone with oily skin, I need a very light serum in summer, and this one fits the bill perfectly! However, I'd recommend applying it lightly in one layer. When I use it before bed, I wake up with plump, bouncy skin which I love! While it's great for oily skin types due to its lightness, those with dry skin might find it lacking in hydration. Packaging: I'm quite impressed with the packaging. Despite being glass, it's surprisingly lightweight, making it perfect for travel without adding extra bulk!

  I have oily and extremely sensitive skin, so I usually need very gentle products to avoid breakouts. Unfortunately, when I applied multiple layers of this serum, I noticed some small blemishes appearing. I'll need to adjust the amount I use. If you have sensitive skin like mine, I'd recommend applying just a thin, single layer to be safe.

  Pro tip: Store it in the refrigerator for a refreshing application. Using it cool, especially in summer, provides a nice cooling effect on the face.

  The formula absorbs without any stickiness, so it applies really well! The packaging is clean and pretty, and the slightly tapered end of the dropper made it easy to apply directly to the face!

  Cons

  It was too irritating for me, so I only used it for a few days. My skin is thin and super sensitive, so even though I used it carefully, it still caused a tingling sensation! I've tried Innisfree's spot treatment serum before, which was also irritating, so I tried layering toner multiple times and applying other serums before this one, but it still stung badly on areas with almost-emerging blemishes. Those with thin skin should be very cautious when using this product!

  Tip

  It's probably better to use this in the evening rather than in the morning. Since it's an exfoliating serum, it's best to apply it after thoroughly hydrating your skin with toner, without any prior dead skin cell removal.
