This is gentle and lightweight, so it's good that there's no silicone-like foreign feeling left on the hair after application. And there's a woody scent? that's a bit strong, giving off a library-like aroma, so it's good to use even in the summer. After applying and drying the hair, the hair feels soft without any sticky or heavy feeling. To be honest, I bought the Black Tea and Pig product expecting the aroma of black tea, but there was no black tea scent at all. After drying my hair, the essence scent also disappeared. Those who wish to apply essence and have their hair not feel heavy are recommended~ - so********Dry SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesInner DrynessDead Skin CellsRecommendedDec 9, 2024
First off, the scent is absolutely delightful. It's a perfectly balanced woody aroma that's not too overpowering, with subtle notes of black tea and fig true to its name. It's simply wonderful. While I primarily use it for the fragrance, I must say its performance as an oil is quite satisfactory as well. I don't have any major complaints, but if I had to nitpick, I'd say the longevity and sillage aren't quite as impressive as their sandalwood scent. - ro********Combination SkinSensitive SkinInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRecommendedNov 15, 2024
The scent is lovely and dissipates quickly, with just the right amount dispensed per pump. The packaging looks luxurious, and while the container is dark, you can still see how much is left when held up to light, making it easy to use every last drop. Even if you apply a bit more, it absorbs quickly without pilling. It's a pleasure to apply, so I recommend it. I bought it for the nice fragrance, but it fades too quickly. It seems to absorb well, but I'm not sure if it actually softens my skin. - yt******Dehydrated SkinAtopic SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesInner DrynessRecommendedOct 28, 2024
The scent is so amazing it makes up for any drawbacks. Suitable for both men and women with its unisex fragrance. The hydration is great too. Might be even better for damaged hair? The oil feels a bit heavy. If you're applying it all over, it's best to use a thin layer before drying your hair. Applying too much will quickly deplete the small amount and might weigh down your hair. The scent doesn't last very long either. Controlling the amount is absolutely crucial... Apply slowly starting from the hair ends and work your way up. Make sure to use it before styling with heat tools. - an*********Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinAtopic SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRecommendedAug 28, 2024
The fragrance is lovely! It's like a woody scent reminiscent of sandalwood or cedarwood. I really enjoy it. Unfortunately, the scent doesn't last long. The longevity is a bit disappointing, and you need to reapply it midday. - lj******Combination SkinAcne SkinSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessEnlarged PoresDead Skin CellsRecommendedJul 2, 2024
Personally, I've never been satisfied with hair oils before, but this product really impressed me! - It doesn't make your hair greasy or feel excessively heavy - Seems to have just the right amount of richness and hydration for damaged hair - The fig scent is legendary... truly the essence of fragrance. It's not too heavy or sweet, which is great! A perfect blend of floral, woody, and fig notes While it's my holy grail, opinions on this product can be quite divided: - The scent doesn't last very long - If you prefer a super lightweight feel, this might seem a bit heavy - The amount you get for the price is on the smaller side For best results, apply it to completely dry hair rather than damp. Rub it between your hands and then press it into the ends of your hair for optimal absorption. - ja***********Dry SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresDead Skin CellsRecommendedFeb 22, 2024
After reading reviews praising its scent, I decided to buy it, and the fragrance is truly delightful! I don't particularly feel like it's improving my hair texture. It seems I'm using it mainly for the scent. - wj********Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedFeb 9, 2024
The product performance is decent, but I'm really satisfied with it because the scent is so lovely. Personally, I prefer the Black Tea and Fig fragrance over the Wood scent - it's more unique and subtly pleasant. The product effectiveness is average. To be honest, I think most hair oils are pretty similar, so I don't have any major complaints. After drying your hair completely, squeeze out about a drop and smooth it through your locks. It leaves a subtle, pleasant fragrance and helps style your hair nicely. - Hwahae UserOily SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedFeb 9, 2024
I've tried the woody scent before and liked it, so I repurchased. The black tea fragrance has a hint of fig with a subtle floral note, making it fresh yet sophisticated. It seems perfect for the upcoming spring and summer. Although it's an oil formula, it's not too heavy, so you can use it before or after drying your hair without it becoming greasy. Instead, it makes your hair silky smooth. It's great value when you buy it on sale. While there's nothing to complain about, the price is a bit high when it's not on sale, so make sure to purchase it during a promotion! - sc***Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinAtopic SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRednessDead Skin CellsRecommendedFeb 9, 2024
The fragrance is absolutely divine. It's a captivating blend of woody and floral notes, creating a scent that's far from neutral - it's alluring. It reminds me of a sophisticated city woman, not too cool but with a warm touch. A couple of pumps on your hands, then run through your hair - it not only smells wonderful but also helps tame your locks a bit. Despite being an oil, it doesn't leave a sticky residue on your hands after application. I'm genuinely in love with it! Unlike other products that leave a tacky feeling even after washing with soap and water, this one feels clean and fresh. It's truly impressive! The longevity is disappointing. The scent is noticeable for about 3 hours, but after that, you have to press your hair to your nose to smell it. After 5 hours, even that becomes difficult, and by 6 hours, the fragrance is completely gone. For a product that's primarily used for its scent, the lasting power is underwhelming. Perhaps that's why the scent isn't overpowering, but it's still a letdown. As for improving hair texture, it's not a miracle worker. Don't expect a dramatic 'wow' effect or instant shine. I haven't tried using a lot, fearing it might make my hair greasy. It just seems to provide basic care for dry hair. Of course, if you haven't been using any hair care products, you'll notice some improvement. But if you're looking for significant hair texture enhancement, I'd recommend other products. Keep in mind that the Long Take product has different compositions and free gifts at Olive Young stores versus the official website, so do your research to find the best deal for you. Also, for the Intensive and Basil & Verbena products, the official website is currently offering a trial kit with shampoo, treatment, and hair oil at a great price. It's worth giving it a try!
