The cleansing gel comes out like a jelly drink at first, but when you add water and rub it a lot in your hands, it lathers up well. It's gentle, but the cleansing power is not bad. It was inexpensive. I bought two of them very cheaply at Olive Young. It cleanses the skin to remove oil. I bought it for travel because the size is just right. Since it's mildly acidic, I bought it as a feminine hygiene product as well, and it wasn't bad.
