When my skin was severely damaged and my skin barrier was completely broken, this was the only product I used. (I even used it after applying sunscreen) Of course, the sunscreen and makeup were not perfectly cleansed, but the product was not irritating and gentle enough that my skin did not worsen. The cleansing power is good. There is no particular fragrance. (This was good for me as I prefer unscented products) It is not irritating. My skin does not become dry or squeaky-clean.
