That's why I've purchased everything from their emulsion to soothing gel and now this sunscreen. The sunscreen itself has a great absorbs, feels moisturizing, and is almost fragrance-free, so my child applies it without any fuss. While the texture is ordinary, it's not sticky and the moisturizing effect lasts long. Plus, it doesn't cause any burning sensation in the eyes. Since my child has super sensitive skin and is prone to atopic dermatitis, I'm extremely cautious when selecting skincare products. I love that I don't have to worry about that with the Atopalm line. This sunscreen seems suitable for all children's skin types.
ConsThere's nothing I dislike about it, and I plan to repurchase after I finish this one.
TipAfter applying the emulsion and cream, make sure to apply this thoroughly before going out, especially on the nape of the neck.

It didn't irritate my eyes, making application comfortable. There's a slight brightening effect, so I felt confident going out with just this sunscreen on. If it were midsummer, I would have slathered it generously on my kids!
ConsWhen applied to dry skin without any oil underneath, I noticed some deep dryness after a few hours of wearing just the sunscreen.

However, after using this for nearly a week, I didn't experience even the smallest bumps or blemishes.
ConsThe scent is similar to an ointment or a grassy smell. Personally, I liked it, but I think it could be a matter of personal preference.

My skin tends to be dry, but this applies smoothly and keeps my skin hydrated for hours. It has a rich feel, which I think helps prevent dryness. The absorption is fantastic - it's light, doesn't irritate my eyes, and has a great texture that's easy to apply. Atopam is known for products that are safe for children, which gives me peace of mind. I can use it on both myself and my kids without worrying about blemishes. There's no white cast, so I can reapply without pilling, and it feels fresh like an emulsion even with multiple layers. The size and amount are perfect for sharing between mom and child.
ConsThe downside is that because it's quite rich, it doesn't wash off easily with just water. This makes cleansing a bit tricky for kids. Even trying to wash it off your hands with just soap is challenging. It's a bit inconvenient for children as they'd need to use a separate cleansing product to remove it completely.

This time, I had the opportunity to try their sunscreen, and I used it with confidence! Since it's something I need to apply to my child's skin daily, and I have super sensitive skin myself, I'm always on the lookout for gentle, skin-friendly sunscreens. The Atopalm Zinc Mild Up Sunscreen is not only gentle but also provides powerful protection without causing any eye irritation, making it great for both my baby and me. My child usually dislikes thick emulsions, but this sunscreen absorbs smoothly and easily. It doesn't feel heavy like some sunscreens can, and it even provides a moisturizing effect!
ConsHowever, one downside is that there seems to be a slight white cast. While this was a bit disappointing, I've heard that some white cast in sunscreens can actually be a sign of good protection, so I'm still satisfied using it. Right now it's winter, so I don't apply it as often, but I'm sure I'll be reaching for it more frequently once the weather warms up.

As someone with super sensitive skin, I was impressed that it didn't cause any blemishes even from the first application. It made me think this is truly a gentle product. There was absolutely no eye irritation, and I felt like I'd found the perfect product for me. The texture isn't thick at all, more like a very light emulsion. It absorbs well and feels great on the skin. Personally, I felt it even helped to even my skin tone. Honestly, I think this is gentle enough even for babies! I'd love to recommend this to all the moms out there! Regarding the scent, those who've used Atopalm before might recognize it. It has a unique fragrance, to me it's like a mild red ginseng scent? You only notice it when you first apply, and it quickly fades. Plus, you get used to it very quickly with continued use. With its mineral UV filters and super gentle formula, I think I've found my holy grail sunscreen. I'm definitely going to repurchase this when I run out!
ConsThe only downside I can think of is that the price is a bit high for the amount you get.
TipI've heard it's best to apply sunscreen about 30 minutes before going outside. And don't forget, it's essential to cleanse your face when you come back in!

As someone whose skin breaks out immediately when using pore-clogging ingredients, I've had to use separate products for myself and my child. But this one has a combination of ingredients that works for both of us. It has a creamy texture and while there's some white cast when first applied, it disappears quickly if you pat it in well. It's not too greasy and doesn't sting the eyes, making it even more pleasant to use. I tried it on my kids' faces too, and it absorbs smoothly. I'm really satisfied with the high SPF, how it absorbs, and the ingredients overall.
ConsThere's nothing particularly negative to mention. I'm happy that it doesn't cause blemishes or eye irritation.
TipInitially, apply it with a thick feeling and pat it in thoroughly until the white cast disappears. It will absorb well without leaving any white residue.

It seems to absorb nicely and feels moisturizing on kids' skin. Even if you apply it generously, it doesn't sting the eyes. It appears to be mild. There's no noticeable white cast either. It doesn't seem to cause any blemishes and seems fine for children's skin. My child doesn't wash their face thoroughly, but there haven't been any skin issues yet. We've only used it for a week, but it looks like it's easy for kids to apply.
ConsYou can detect a scent that's similar to mosquito repellent, which is characteristic of this substance. It's not a pleasant fragrance.
TipI apply it as thinly as possible before putting on makeup. Even if I reapply after lunch, it still feels fresh. Layering it provides excellent sun protection.

My baby didn't rub their eyes at all. I also tried it and experienced no eye irritation. Despite being a mineral sunscreen, it applies smoothly and isn't sticky, making it comfortable to use. We've decided to stick with Atopalm for our baby's sunscreen!
ConsTo be honest, I don't have any real complaints. If I had to mention something, I think it would have been even better if it came out a bit thinner.
TipWhen used with a compatible moisturizer, it works perfectly as a makeup base.

It's hard to find a mineral sunscreen that doesn't irritate or sting the eyes, but this product is great. I've thrown away several tubes because of eye irritation, but this one is fine. Despite being a mineral sunscreen, it has an emulsion texture that absorbs well. The quantity is sufficient if you're using it mainly for your face. It's much less suffocating than typical sunscreens, and if you apply it thinly and let it absorb well, it doesn't pill or separate when used under makeup. For my combination dehydrated skin, the oil balance is perfect - neither too greasy nor too dry. I found it so good that I even applied it to my child yesterday when it snowed heavily, to protect their skin from the reflected light, and they said it was comfortable too.
ConsWith mineral sunscreens, it's important to control the amount and spread it evenly without clumping to avoid a white cast when first applying. If you momentarily use too much, your face can become too pale. However, this is more a characteristic of mineral sunscreen ingredients rather than a flaw of this specific product.
TipWhen skin is very dry, mineral sunscreens can accentuate dead skin cells or appear patchy. Blending it with an essence, emulsion, or cream can improve adherence without pilling. For children, instead of applying a thick layer at once, I prefer to apply a thin layer, let it absorb, and then add another thin layer on areas prone to redness, like the cheeks.
