The color is a subtle, natural deep brown that looks beautiful. Sometimes when I opened the cap, the liquid would gush out unexpectedly, which was startling. Because of this, I ended up wasting more product than I actually used, which was such a shame. This is the main reason I won't be repurchasing it. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinApr 22, 2025
I'm really satisfied with this as a daily product. The color is neither too intense nor artificial, giving a natural look. I can't think of any downsides. You should definitely grab it when it's on sale as part of a special offer! Store it upside down - Hwahae UserDehydrated SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinApr 19, 2025
I've finally found my holy grail eyeliner! As someone with a light undertone who doesn't suit heavy makeup, I've always struggled with eyeliners that looked too harsh and floaty on my eyes. But this one has the perfect color payoff. It's like a watercolor shade that's not too intense, so it doesn't just emphasize the line alone. While I don't typically have issues with smudging, I've found the staying power to be impressive. I'll definitely be repurchasing this over and over! I've been using this for a while now, and honestly, I can't find any significant drawbacks. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinApr 9, 2025
This eyeliner is my go-to product - I've used over 3 tubes and have 3 more stashed at home! My mom's used more than 10 tubes, which is how I got hooked on it too. For reference: I'm 21 with a deep undertone, muted (doesn't suit high-chroma orange or yellow). I've only tried the Ash Brown shade. It's not very brown, and the ash tone is lighter than expected - more like a soft black. I'd like to try other brown shades next time. Highly recommend if you like soft black or ashy tones! It works for both warm and cool tones, but I'd especially recommend it for cool complexions. The eyeliner absorbs well and has great staying power. The color and pigmentation are more intense than expected, so I wouldn't recommend it if you're after a natural look. While I liked everything else about it, I've recently been preferring more subtle eyeliners, so the intensity was a bit disappointing for me. - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinSep 20, 2024
I really love the ash color! The ash brown isn't too light, which is great, and it truly gives off that ash brown vibe at first glance. While brush eyeliners can be tricky for those with shaky hands, this product somehow applies beautifully! I'd highly recommend it to beginners - it makes you feel like an eyeliner pro. The line goes on thin, but you can build it up for a thicker look if desired. The color is naturally a bit light, but becomes more vibrant with multiple layers. Even with layering, it doesn't smudge or look messy. Unless you're crying, it won't budge or smear at all! The only issue is that sometimes the liquid leaks during application. I'm not sure if it's just my product that's faulty. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSep 18, 2024
The color is lighter than I expected, so I apply it a few times. It builds up nicely, allowing for a very natural look. I love it! It feels like it has a slight staining effect too. For those who struggle with thin eyeliner tails, this is a must-try product! It's perfect for creating those delicate flicks. Honestly, many of my friends use this eyeliner too! Occasionally, I'm not sure if it's a defect, but liquid comes out of the eyeliner hole. It's not too severe, so I continue using it despite this issue. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinApr 30, 2024
It applies so smoothly, and the unique, subtle ash tone is perfect for men's makeup that doesn't look too obvious. I really feel like I made a great purchase! The only downside is that the brush pen tip can be a bit tricky to use, but other than that, I don't have any complaints. I noticed that closing my eyes while applying or dotting it along the lash line made it more noticeable and prone to smudging. Instead, I found that keeping my eyes open and drawing a continuous line along the inner lash line worked much better for a clean application. - Hwahae UserDry SkinAtopy SkinSensitive SkinMar 14, 2024
The brush has good elasticity, making it somewhat easy to draw. The color is on the lighter side. I bought it during a 1+1 sale at Olive Young, so it was relatively affordable. It clumps terribly... Usually, I start drawing from the outer corner of my eye, but even with just one stroke, the ink clumps at the end. Whether I apply it over foundation, eyeshadow, or after setting with powder, it clumps all the same. I rarely post reviews for color cosmetics because it's a hassle, but this is so frustrating that I had to share. I wonder how much I should list it for on Karrot to sell it... - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAtopy SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinMar 1, 2024
It absorbs well and I love the subtle color. Really great product! I'm not sure yet, but I can't think of any downsides. It's all good! - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinFeb 18, 2024
I loved that the color wasn't too intense! It gives a subtle, shadow-like effect that doesn't stand out too much. It takes a bit of time to set, but once it does, it doesn't easily rub off when you touch it with your fingers. If you apply multiple layers, it can pill up like pen ink. Since I have oily skin, I'm not sure about its longevity. For those with oily skin, it's important to prep your skin with blotting papers or powder before application.
