Great for achieving a natural, effortless look or delicate makeup, regardless of warm or cool undertones. It applies smoothly without being excessive, perfect for everyday wear. Occasionally, the liquid clumps when drawing eyeliner, and sometimes too much product comes out. After about two months of use, the liquid tends to leak excessively, getting all over your hands and creating an overly intense line. - Hwahae UserDehydrated SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinSep 22, 2024
Natural color payoff and clean, precise lines without the stiffness often felt with pencils! I'm not sure if it's because of the oil on my face, but when I apply it to my eyes, it doesn't go on evenly and lightly. Instead, the liquid clumps and leaves patchy areas. Please make sure to use a lip and eye remover. It doesn't come off with just cleansing oil. - Hwahae UserDry SkinAtopy SkinSensitive SkinMar 14, 2024
The brush has good elasticity, making it somewhat easy to draw. The color is on the lighter side. I bought it during a 1+1 sale at Olive Young, so it was relatively affordable. It clumps terribly... Usually, I start drawing from the outer corner of my eye, but even with just one stroke, the ink clumps at the end. Whether I apply it over foundation, eyeshadow, or after setting with powder, it clumps all the same. I rarely post reviews for color cosmetics because it's a hassle, but this is so frustrating that I had to share. I wonder how much I should list it for on Karrot to sell it... - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinDec 25, 2023
The solid grip... The perfect brush thickness... And the natural color payoff... They've really nailed it with this one! It can be a bit tricky to touch up, and it does have a tendency to clump slightly. Still, I find myself reaching for this more often than other eyeliners. Apply it and immediately smudge with eyeshadow for a stunning makeup look. - Hwahae UserDry SkinAtopy SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinNov 2, 2023
The brush is so firm, it applies beautifully. Even when I got caught in the rain without an umbrella and was soaked, it didn't budge at all. The staying power is incredible! The color is just perfect - not too intense, not too light, but just the right medium shade! If you apply multiple layers, it tends to flake off quite easily. It also has a tendency to clump a bit... - Hwahae UserCombination SkinOct 21, 2023
I love it! I'm on my second one because I like it so much! It's quite powerful, making it easy to apply. Sometimes it comes out clumped, which can be a bit frustrating. - Hwahae UserDry SkinAtopy SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinSep 23, 2023
As someone who's not particularly skilled at makeup application, I found this product really easy to use. The color comes out light, allowing me to build it up gradually and achieve a precise line even with my less-than-steady hand. I used to only use brown-black liners from other brands, so when I first tried this ash brown, I was worried it might be too light. But as I used it more, I realized it's actually great for creating a subtle look that doesn't show mistakes too obviously. You can easily adjust and layer it for the perfect finish. It's ideal for everyday wear when you want a natural look. However, for those days when you want more dramatic makeup, you might prefer a darker liner. I think this is a fantastic product for daily, effortless use. I've read reviews mentioning how easily the cap opens, but I've found it clicks shut securely and has never opened accidentally in my bag. The pencil has a nice weight to it, giving it a good grip. The price is reasonable, and it didn't irritate my sensitive eye area at all. Just a note - it's not very noticeable for tightlining. Also, I initially tried to intensify the color by applying eyeshadow first, but it actually made the liner clump a bit. I found it works better when applied directly to clean skin. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinJul 21, 2023
I bought this during a buy-one-get-one-free deal, and I really liked the semi-transparent color that lives up to its name 'Ash'. From the start, the color application felt uneven, and I'm not sure if it was defective, but later it came out clumped together to the point of leaking. - Hwahae UserDry SkinAtopy SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinJan 27, 2023
It stays put and draws incredibly well. The brush is firm, which seems to reduce the chances of making mistakes compared to other eyeliners. There's not really anything bad, but if I had to nitpick, you might notice a slight powdery buildup if you keep layering it on. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinAug 1, 2022
I usually prefer brown liners since even a little bit of color can look overly dramatic, like I'm on my way to ask for a refund. But brown isn't perfect either, so I've been wanting something more ash-gray. I tried the CL** #4 Ash Shine, but it applied too thick. I needed something thinner, and that's when I found this. It has everything I wanted - the perfect ash-brown shade and a thin line. You have to apply it in one go. It dries quickly, so if you try to go over it a second time, it clumps and creates excess powder. While it is ash-brown as described, there's a slight reddish tinge to it...
